I think all of these comes from U.S with localized variants: Idol (that singing program), Dancing with the stars? (some show where people dance), Stars on the ice (another crappy show) and 50 other programs. Many programs that's shown here, but not abroad... So i won't mention them... But god damn tv sucks. No wonder less people are paying their tv-license lol.

So it may be, but I'm sure that it's a bug that I've encountered. I've used Panda for a long time, and also other AV's - Never gotten this much usage from an AV.

You can draw more power than spec safely. The only thing that would happen is that it would not work if there wasn't enough power. If the device runs over the power spec, always plug it into the computer directly or by a powered (getting power from the wall) usb hub. All i know is that the OS will warn the user if more power is needed from the USB than is available.

Boot up in safe-mode and scan again. You could also try uninstalling Avg and installing Avast or Avira and see if they work better (funny that those 3 have free versions and all begin with an a). Panda (which is a pay product) has a 1 month free trial of their internet security 2009 version ( http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/ ... N-IS09-DWN ) which you could also try out. I don't know if Norton/F-Secure or Kaspersky also got one month trial, but you could check them and see if they have.

Well, these two things happend when i was 14-15 in school. 1 - Caught using snus (swedish tobacco product) and also smoking - But nothing happend, teacher only said to throw it out. 2 - Were in a fight, and threw some guy down into floor and into the wall. Me and a friend had to talk to a techer/social guy about this later in the day. The police could have been called in, but the guy that i fought with didn't contact them (which i'm happy for, and of course i regretted doing it and i still do). That's the worst things i can think of. Otherwise i've been pretty good in all my school years, except for skipping classes every now and then.

Wow, so many stupid things admins on these servers ban for. Echofish - Lol. I've only played on european servers, since i get bad ping on american ones. Never heard of these stupid rules some put in. Ok, most of my online playing experience comes from UT which seem to house alot of older people. Do i have right if i make the guess that many of these weird admins are 13-16?

I'd like to add: Caution while cleaning your hardware parts. A hoover is fine for the outside, but i wouldn't really recommend it when cleaning inside the computer. If you are using the hoover to clean dust out, don't have one with a metal pipe and never touch the components with it. What i would do (and i do, do it) is using a can with compressed air, costs about 4 euros and lasts a long time. Nice initiative btw.

Well, i've been an [wagon] a couple of times at the pub after drinking too much. I can't remember, but i know i haven't acted in the most appropiate ways. I still drink with my friends and at the pub, but now i'm just happy and laughing my [wagon] off, instead of throwing up in the bus... etc... Ehrm. Well, my probably nastiest thing i've done, was with an old ex, circa 5 years ago, when i was 16. My then girlfriend was moving a loooong way away, so i "broke up" with her. I sent an "sms-break up", how lame isn't that. But that's maybe not even the worst part: The day she was moving, she called and ask me if she could come by me and say bye. (i think i was scarred or something) So i said i had a cold/headache.. etc, but she still said she could come by but i said "no sorry...". Which, i know, makes an [wagon]. We were together for 8 months or so, which makes me an even bigger [wagon]. I remember what i did an hour later, went into the town with a friend.

I haven't played much multiplayer since a server for UT2004 shut down, which i played 99% of the time. I never got kicked out of it, played there for 4 years lol. I got to know the two admins also, i still talk to them today. But some other got kicked... Swearing too much (believe me, you could swear quite a bit... To a certain extent)/spamming etc... I remember one time, some dude (never seen before) joined the server and spammed like 15 times "Adolf Hitler!!!!!" before he got banned lol. I do think i might have been kicked of some server, but i can't remember anything.

Hey. I've had this idea for a little while now. I remember before the rollback, there was a thread "show your computer corner". But it got lost. A thread usually dies after a while, so as a thread it would probably be around for a while... Then disappear. I really would prefer if such a thread could be stickied, since they are always there. I've talked to an admin, and he said i should check with you guys first before a decision is made. So i'm basically checking with you guys - What do you think about it? I know there are already 4 stickies and 2 announcements, so i guess it maybe would get a bit cluttered? For me it would be fine, but i want to hear what you regulars here think. If you guys would be happy with it, a sticky could probably be made (i hope, of course it's up to the admins/mods). But if it's not liked, then just forget this. Posting a picture/s of your computer/s and specs. Maybe tv corner too? - Dunno. It would be fun to see what computers you guys use. Come with ideas!

Instead of removing the privacy-intruding software, I say your friend should confront her parents about this. Ask them why they've done this. Because it sounds like they don't trust her. I'd never do that to my kids (when/if i get), it's better to talk about internet and educate about it instead of having spyware monitoring activities. I understand blocking sites with malware/porn etc. But monitoring every single move is a bit too far.

I'm happy with Panda, ok? It's the first time something like this has happend with it, and i've had them for 3 years now. Common sense is maybe the best protection. If you're torrenting and visiting dodgy sites, of course you'll get crap. I'm happy with this anti-virus, and no av is perfect, not even your nod32. I'm waiting for their reply on my mail, usually takes 1-3 days.

The panda processes only uses about 40mb memory together. And no i won't get another AV at the moment, i'm happy with it and i got 11 months left on my license.

Yes i know, but i've tried to avoid doing that. Yes i know and it isn't the funnest thing to do. Think about it though instead of sitting here try to find a solution your could just reinstall the OS and get it over with then just try to find a solution that you may never find. I found out=) It was the panda service that was messing up. I deactivated panda, uninstalled, installed again (updated too); running as normal again.
