  1. I think you've just been unlucky. Just like someone can have a problem with a graphics card. I mean, they produce great quantities and there's bound to be a couple that have a problem.
  2. Does anyone know if the mobo in it follows something like mATX or ATX? (i guess mini). If that mobo is a mini, a new mini-mobo should go fine. What processor do you want? AMD or Intel? Quad or dual? Price range? Do you want some special ram? Or is PC 5300 or 6400 good enough? What sort of games do you play and plan to play? What settings do you play in? Budget?
  3. Are you set on 8800/9800GT?
  4. [hide=ClEaN BaCkGrOuNd, cool text!][/hide]
  5. I have 3 power cords into one outlet, 1 computer (the other computer is on a ups with has it's power plugged into the other outlet). Got tv, computer (screen also plugged into one of the cords), vhs/dvd/digital box (altho they dont use much power), also got a speaker system (40-140w i think) plugged in and 2 lamps plugged in. I haven't had a problem. Maybe depends on what you're putting there.. But normal stuff shouldn't be a problem.
  6. Buy the one that has a pink external drive. [hide=]But yes, both are good brands[/hide]
  7. 4gb ddr2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820134193 Good price and will work great. Also Kingston, a known and respected brand. For a graphics card, i can't really recommend you anything. (i tried HD 2400XT on a 250W PSU, didn't work, needed to upgrade the psu) Because your power supply is only 300W, with all the other components... It's gonna be a close call. Maybe something like ATI 3450 might work, but i wouldn't count on it. You really need to upgrade the PSU to something like 450 to be able to get a good graphics card there. Here's a couple of examples of PSU's: FSP 400W (80% certified) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817104046 Chieftec 450W (80% certified) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817202011 Perhaps something like 350w would be enough if you're not going to put anything more than an 8600GT in there too. (and yes, you got 1 pci-e 16x)
  8. I like Created/Accelerated Evolution. That God made it or sped it up or something along those lines. Yeah, it's my own theory. Don't exactly understand why everyone but monotheistic folks can believe in it. I don't believe in that "humans just popped up of nowhere". Come one, humans aren't a supreme race, altho we act like one. Why would we be created from a god, who thinks that the human-kind is supreme. If we were to be supreme, then we'd been gifted with a far better brain. Seeing all the troubles going on today, i would never believe (i won't anyways) that another lifre-form created us. People have different believes, i accept that. But i'm not gonna swing with the god theory just because of that.
  9. Agnostic as i am, i accept it. Never believed in god, never will. but i do understand people get comfort in praying to "a higher form". especially in difficult times.

i'm all for it. the world is over-populated anyways. the amount of food will not last if we keep growing millions and millions a year. and those idiots not even supporting abortion even if rape, well.... 13+ forum as it is.... F you. A woman controls it, not a law.
  11. I think he can see them but a reinstall of flash wouldn't hurt at all. Ah [cabbage], didn't know that. Only understood it as "don't got flash"... Eh well, yeah. You need to get flash, otherwise, if you have a problem installing it (not being restricted by someone) ask us... We'll try to help (well, my sucky IT skills won't cut it, but someone else's.). Now i'm gonna sleep... beer... smoke.... yum.. =)
  12. At the moment: Test Driver Unlimited, RS, SNES games (pc emulator). Not more... I have alot of other games here, but i've finished them all... Played UT04 online for 4 years, but not anymore. My problem is that if i find a good game, i usually over-play it and finish the game in 3 days. Looking forward to DB3 and GTA4, perhaps Far Cry 2 too. Not much getting released to PC these days... I wonder for how long it will be until i have to buy a PS3 lol.

I hate them. Always something in the mail (tho it usually comes into the spam-box), but sometimes on msn or on another comunity website. I've never answerd them, sender is always blocked (if i don't know the sender) and then press the delete button!

I'm not american, but if i would be able to vote, this makes me wanting to vote even less on Republicans. Against abortion, even if rape? Idiotic as hell.
  15. Yuck, i didn't like their download-section... all mashy. I checked that link, and i googled after webcam driver, didn't find anything lol. Is it made by dell or by a company like logitech or creative? If a 3rd-party, you can go to their site and check. Otherwise, uhm... Call their support lol. Really weird site. Ah no, email them and ask for direct links for fingerprint+cam, cheaper.
  16. Sorry, you really need to install flash. Every major video-site uses flash. So either get flash or import mp3's to your computer.
  17. But RuneScape doesn't run with JavaScript. It runs with Java. There is a difference, I promise you. I've heard tale that one can get Java to run with the new 6.10 update (BETA), but I'd advise against it until that becomes stable. Wouldn't it just suck to be playing RS and then get disconnected at some critical juncture because of it...? I totally agree, I only run RS on FF2 at the moment as I found that is the most stable platform for the game. This is partly Jagaex's fault as they released the HD version when it still has major issues with the full screen mode :( Sorry guys, I love the game and what you do, but it's the truth: Full screen has big issues with different browsers, IE for one. I find I get the WHITE SCREEN OF NOTHING quite often, and I think I know why: When entering the full screen you fade from a white screen quickly to the game, but I think some browsers kinda get stuck on the total white bit. The game is actually running, I know this as if I CTRL+TAB I get a glimpse of the game as it returns to non full screen. Please sort that one out. You tryed Opera? For me it's the best and I tested Safari, FireFox and Internet Explorer 8 (ye 8 but also 7) Does it work with Runescape HD fullscreen? Hm, i'm surprised you got so many problems running on fullscreen. FF3 is unstable to me (not just RS, but in general). But IE7, Opera and Safari has worked for me without problems on fullscreen (altho i run in window mode 90% of the time). I've never got a "white screen of nothing".
  18. Then i'll start hacking if this would be correct information. If that doesn't work, i'll go bounty-hunting all top-people working on ISP's.
  19. again, they are entirely for professional uses. Unless SERG_Troy plans on using these monitors to display a MRI output, a targeting station on a surface to air missile battery or a control room for a nuclear power plant, a custom built graphics solution is not for him. I only mentioned them as an alternative. I know ordinary people use them too sometimes.
  20. Hm, more competition, suppose it's good. But I'll continue on with my awesome Norwegian browser.
  21. They won't for a while. There are millions of users still on XP, considering how bad the PC-gaming industry is doing contra consoles, no one would like to lock out all those customers on XP. I don't know for how long, but i guess they will still make DX9 games until atleast Windows 7.

Woke up pissed off, going to the worlds most f'ing boring crap meeting in an hour which i'm going to be anti-social at, then i'm going home and sleeping. At the moment i can really snap in a second.

I'm all for tuning the car and choosing some colours, but not the whole "pimp car" idea. I mean, i get a Trans Am from 64, i don't want to pimp it out to look awful lol. But i like racing games, both car and motorcykle. The one i'm playing atm is Test Driver Unlimited, nice game. GRID - tried 3-4 days without ever understanding the steering lol. The first racing game i ever played was.. hmm.. That i can remember, some racing game for one Amiga computer. Gran Turismo is probably one of the best racing series ever, and in games overall.
  24. You need 2 outputs, dvi or vga. If you have an add-on graphics card (not using your motherboard gpu, which is vga, usually mid-high up on the backside of the computer), it will look something like this where you can plug in the monitor cables. This for example has 2 dvi ports. If you don't have it, and just using motherboard vga, you need a graphics-card. Which we can talk about later if that's the case. Otherwise, if you have two ports which you can plug into, it won't be a problem. There's also a company called Matrox, specialized in creating cards supporting more monitors.
