Whats Wrong with the world?
I think the social conflict has always been there in society. Human emotions, actions and reactions remain the same throughout time. The only variable, I think, is the society surrounding them. So, what has changed? Increased presence of the media highlighting these stories. Of course, any ignorant fool can blatantly 'blame the media!', but this increased presence might also be the result of our decreased sensitivity to these issues. Consider this: you turn the TV on, switch it to the 6:30 PM news and you hear about a car crash on the highway - a news headline. What if you recognise the number plate and realise it's a family member? The news report would have come sooner than that dreaded telephone call. Hmm, maybe that's slightly off-topic. Pardon me, if it is.

High school....
Ok, different countries have different education systems. Then there's also the issue of public / private schools. In attending a private school my entire life, reputation and discipline has been strictly enforced. The transition from Junior School to Senior School (my school's version of 'high school') for me was much smoother than for others, but the added freedom and flexibility was overwhelming - the need to know different teachers' names for different subjects, the need to find different rooms around the school grounds for each period / lessons, the continuous assessments (we don't have half-yearly exams) and: having to deal with being the 'noobs' of the Senior School. It was scary, at first, but year 7's are well looked after. Also: That only occurs if one's ignorant enough to not question the validity of the information at hand. Attending high school is not a waste - it provides the opportunity of actually attending a prestigious university through the issue of the UAI - University Admisson Index - based purely on the marks achieved in your final year of high school.

How Did You Start Playing Runescape?
At the start of 2002, RuneScape was a popular game amongst my friends. Being free and easy to access, it was understandable. So I decided to sign up, and found myself playing for the sake of 'socialising' with school friends. We'd walk around and chat, and basically do nothing else, hmm.

Where Are All The High Level People From??
Lvl 101, Australia.

are we gaining or losing players in rs?
If you plotted this on a curve, starting from the introduction of RS2 to now, you'd find the general trend is: increasing at an increasing rate. The statistic on the main page - There are currently people playing! - isn't the best indication, due to the massive time differences. But generally, the numbers should be increasing.

F2P alching
Firstly, I usually high-alch instead. Secondly, I always collect resources myself - I never buy them. I mine my own coal, mith, rune ess, etc and I never buy nats, I usually manage to collect a sufficient amount from monster drops and random events. So, if you can manage that, you can easily maximise your profits. Personally, I usually smith steel plates and then alch them. 1k steel bars smithed into plates will generate 240k, which isn't too bad for F2P.

Problems Logging On...
I'm finally able to log on as well. Friends List isn't working for me, but I don't mind.

Runescape's Audiance
Yes. I've already posted similar reponses in other threads around the forum, so I'll keep this short. Being F2P, I find this to be an even larger issue. Then again, there's also the problem of rapid technological advancements and the widespread encourage of youngsters to "embrace the technological revolution". So what we're dealing with is the interaction of even younger people with computers, rather than encouraging the old. Indeed, the "children are the future", and from a business point of view, this is the case. As far as I'm concerned, it might be a clever marketing ploy to increase its customer base. But I would only be speculating there.

In regards to the Server-Logging on Problems [POSSIBLE FIX]
No, that didn't work for me. Maybe it's harder with the Australian servers, seeing there's only 3 worlds to choose from. I might try another location. EDIT: No, still not working. I'll just take a nice, long break.

A question about obtaining Cosmic, Law & Nature runes (f2p)
As Goobore said, definitely try the Ice Giants and Ice Warriors. If you're after some slightly lower-levelled monsters, try the Hobgoblins near the Crafting Guild. They drop both Law and Nature runes.

How Old Is your 'main' ?
I only have 1 account I use, which was created around Feb of 2002.

Problems Logging On...
Same as me. I can't log in with my main RSN, but I can with my random lvl 3 backup account. It's weird. People are wandering around in the worlds as if nothing's happened. Also: on the main RS page, the number of people currently playing is decreasing at an increasing rate, which is crazy. Really crazy. It's never happened to me before. Hmm. :-k Then again, with the 10+ hours time difference, I guess you wouldn't expect anything less.

Attack vs. Strength?
Unfortunately, we're restricted to the F2P world, so it isn't a matter of the affordability of the whip, more a matter of availability. As for your PKing enquiry, I wouldn't know - I never PK. Maybe you can try posting in the Graveyard Help & Advice section of the forum.

The "sience"
Well, I no longer study any science. With only 14 'units' of subjects to choose from, I decided a future in business and finance was more suited to me. Then again, economics is a social science, so I suppose that, too, can be discussed? On another note: I enjoyed chemistry and physics during the few years I did actually study them. But it was basic Year 10 work - balancing chemical equations, concept of inertia. Amazingly, though, I still remember most of it.

How do you listen to your songs?
WMP when using the computer - I've been using it since Windows 95, so I've grown accustomed to it. When heading out to the shops - in-car CD player. Also: Sony MP3 walkman when going for a run or studying at school.

Cowhide Crafting advice
I've been making hard leather bodies, but I'm F2P, so I don't really have a choice. But I understand what people have been saying about the coifs. Though hard leather works perfectly fine for me.

1+1=2, 2+2=4
Hmm, I wonder if these numbers are correct. Either way, there's always the formula for the sum of a GP. But I, for one, can't be bothered checking. So... 73,786,976,314,838,206,464.

False, to some extent, but largely true. The person under me has never posted in the Debate Club section of this forum.
