Maybe I'm a different type of person. Perhaps I'm no longer fond of socialising. Perhaps I'm a shy, inward person. Yes, I am. My version of 'having fun' is different. What opportunities would I like to take, then? - Spending a year in France. Studying there. Studying and learning more is a past-time. - Discovering different cultures: tracing my ancestry back to rural China. - Learning more languages to become multi-lingual. Everyone has different paths in life. Everyone has different passions. Who else here actually wants to pursue a future in finance other than me? Also: have you read my post on the 3 big questions in life? I'm seeking self-discovery. My version of 'fun' is about seeking wisdom. Not knowledge, not facts, but wisdom. Mind you, this argument didn't arise from the definition of 'fun'. We're arguing over a censored word which, in my opinion, is morally wrong. May I stress that I'm female. I attend a private all-girls school, and I have my entire schooling life (thankgoodness this is my last). Hence, this issue impacts me differently than it obviously does you. I'm more sensitive. I'm certain that more than 3/4 of the members here are male. Consider being more sensitive, perhaps, in your (pl) future posts. This is geared towards everyone. Honestly. Lastly: I have no regets. I don't dwell on the past. I appreciate what I have, I'm proud of what I've done. I hardly dwell on what could have been. EDIT: My feminist reaction to your first disparaging post was an attitude towards "the issue", NOT my view on life and how to live it. So: anyone want to steer this topic back on track?

I'm hoping you took notice of my use of 'it', to replace the act, not a person. It's not an accusation specifically aimed at an individual. Lighten up, indeed! So, I take things too seriously, do I? I have my heart set on something. I'm determined to get there. I'm a serious person, by nature. But you know what? People respect me for it. People look up to me for my mature nature; for being a dictionary, translator, encyclopedia. I'm older than my numerical age indicates, and, currently, this mature attitude is helping me get through life. It keeps me focused, helps me concentrate.

You only live once dude, its best to live life without thinking of the consequences(Unless death, severe injury, or jail are on the list of possible consequences), be too careful in life and you won't ever have fun. Regarding the first quote: Yes, I agree. Sure, many would not know about that 'secret life', but the self-guilt would always there. I'm very conscious of my reputation and how it effects my future and future opportunities in life. At times, I'm often not a particularly strong person. That guilt would crush my self-confidence. Regarding the second quote: Ok, so you regard it as something to strive towards, almost? That, once 'experienced', it's an accomplishment that you can safely tick off your 'list of things to do in life'? Personally, I find it appalling. Maybe my attitude is different because I'm female, so I'm positioned slightly differently in this. On a different note: in addition to my previous post, I'd also like to be an interpretor, on some level. It would be nice to put my 6 years of French study to good use.

0/10. I don't think this thread will be highly successful...

Well, I'm 100% F2P, so: training combat. Yes, I actually enjoy it.

whats your favorite thing to do to train up your levels
Obsessive_Passion replied to newge4's topic in General Discussion
Level 44 Zombies in SOS. It's never crowded, they drop steel arrows, close to Monastery and the bank at Edgeville, and: I can train prayer simultaneously. -
I think it's because of the complexity of these questions, and their subjective nature. One person may react by quoting the obvious facts. Another person may delve deeper and write a very spiritual account. As superficial as my answers may be, it's what I believe from my own study of the process / concept of the inner journey.

To be the owner of a small business. 94% of all businesses in Australia are small-medium businesses and I want to be a part of that statistic. Of the 1/3 of all small businesses that fail within the first phase of the business cycle, I want to be a part of the 2/3 that don't fail.

Ok, I'll try to be as realistic as I can. At the moment, I'm driving my dad's car - Honda Euro Accord Luxury in graphite. It's the only car I've driven, and it's got great accessories, great handling, quiet engine. It's a real luxury to drive. But, other than that: I'm really fascinated by French manufactuers: Renault, CitroÃÆÃâÃâën, Peugeot. Their designs are astounding. I don't have an exact favourite, though...

It depends on the subjects. At the moment, I'm sort of self-teaching myself Business Studies. I've read the entire textbook, looked at past HSC papers and read the business sections of the morning paper to keep myself updated with current affairs. However, for me, some subjects (like economics) need to be taught in the classroom. Same for maths - especially high-level mathematics: I never would have taught myself how to solve parametric equations. Languages require self-learning. I'm currently learning French. To excel myself, I watch the French news, listen to French music and watch French films. I've started speaking French at home with my parents, so that's given me the added motivation to 'do more'.

Shower. I don't have the time in my busy schedule to lie down and have a relaxing bath for 30 minutes. And with water levels currently so low, seeing a bathtub full of water is disconcerting to me.

Dove Shampoo. I shampoo everyday, so I need a mild-acting shampoo. Always does the job.

How old were you when RuneScape was released?
Obsessive_Passion replied to X_T_H_X's topic in General Discussion
2001, eh? I would have been 11. I started playing a year later in 2002. -
Being F2P, the range is so much more limited, but nontheless: autumn voyage and book of spells. Hmm.
-
I would say Dwarven Mines. There's 5+ iron ores to choose from, and the nearby ladder will take you inside Falador. Sure, it's not exactly the shortest, but with 5 ores, I think it's worth the compromise.
-
Hmm, I'll just post my favourites, in no particular order: - RuneScape - Age of Mythology - Final Fantasy X / X-2 - Chinese RPG named Sword of the Emperor III - Gran Turismo 4 - Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

3/10. I recognise the spraycan effect in your signature, but only faintly. -
Another one to add to my previous list... located somewhere: the smell of rain. One of the most refreshing scents known to me.

You actually solved it? Wow, congratulations. One of my friends is an absolute Rubik's Cube fanatic. She persuaded me to try solving it once, but I eventually gave up. To me, it was like trying to put a 300-piece jigsaw puzzle together. Near impossible.
