For a first, it's not good. :( Try some tutorials on using GIMP to get a hang of the programme. :)
  2. 5/10 - Only generally in this thread
  3. That's terrible. You should not enter it. :-w Nah, that's brilliant. Probably the best thing I've seen entered yet. You picked a great render there. ;)
  4. Nickleback - Rockstar
  5. A nice tutorial you have there, with a great outcome. :)
  6. Not bad. :) I feel you could have made the region around the dragon's mouth a little bot more lively though. 9/10 overall. Very nice.
  7. A nice signature there. ^_^ The effects are brilliant. Though I feel it is a little boring on the right. :( 8/10 :)
  8. Or you could go to PLanetrenders. :-w :P
  9. Very nice! Version 2 is the best. V1 is a little bit flat. I like what you did on the far left side with the 90 degree angle text. Very nice. ^_^ I think the render could have stuck out a bit more, or look a little more lively. 9/10 from me.
  10. I normally do use C4Ds. :P I have a folder full of them on my computer, so I generally put them to use. :) As for the text, I was trying my best to just push it out the way. I still wanted my name on it, but not to be sticking out. Text has never been my positive side. :-w
  11. After fiddling with my screen brightness, when it is turned down I can see where you are coming from. But from my brightness it seems fine. :)
  12. Yep, that's where the bullets come out. :-w :) And how did you miss the render? :-k
  13. Timberland - Time. :)
  14. I've never been to the site. But I did just hear about this from a friend. I'm sure it's annoying for many people. Seems England is cracking down on ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâé. They recently had someone prosecuted for sharing songs illegally online. :o
  15. Thanks for the feedback. :) Do you mean the pistol? :P
  16. Well, I'm still figuring my way around GIMP. This is my latest design: I'm not sure what to think about it. So I'll leave that to you. :P
  17. Very nice. ^_^ It has a certain simplicity to it, which makes it look great. 9/10.

Not bad. I quite like the text in this signature. :) The render in the left needs a higher opacity in my opinion though. Apart from that, nice. ^_^ 8/10 :)
  19. Looks good, but if I were you, I'd cut off the signature leaping out at the bottom. Just have the signature exceeding the limits at the top. It'd look better, especially considering the bottom part has been cut off anyway. :P 7/10 from me. :)
  20. I was trying to blend the text into the backgrund. I didn't particularly want text that sticks right out. :P As for the head; it was part of the render. A clown-like character with flame-like hair. :P Thanks for the feedback though.
  21. Feel free to comment?
  22. It's a bit plain overall. I can't even make out what the sprite actually is either. :/ The same colours throughout make them look rather dull. And the lack of decent, eye-catching effects on the right make it dull also. The text could use some improvement too. Hope I wasn't too harsh. :P 6.5/10 overall. :)
  23. A little simple in my view, copied and pasted character over and over. But for a first, not bad. :)
