Wow, I didn't make my first million gp for 3 months. You definitely are getting there quickly! Good luck! You can add me too if you want. I would say I am a pretty helpful guy. :)
It really depends. If you think you are experienced enough to survive better with hood, then unbind it and bind plate. However, Plate should allow you to survive better if you utilize side-stepping than a hood can, since it allows for more mess-ups.
I have decided not to get one. There is no point in me getting one since there is no way for me to test them out. I can't be bothered buying one, and shipping it back if I don't like it; too much hassle. I will stick to my regular gaming keyboard and buy a soft wrist rest for it.
I do have 8 GB of RAM, at least I know thats not the problem. However, I have been playing around with screen sizes and different settings in downloadable version, I was able to get fps up a lil bit but not as much I want to. It is manageable for now. Have you tried DirectX? I currently use it and my fps is around 20 compared to 5 with Software mode.
I spent $25 on the fan controller+$13 on the Scythe Fan so I had $12 left from that. Then, I removed the Sidewinder x4 and one other thing and had the total at $1695, so I have $105 left, give or take $5. EDIT2: Yep, it is $105, give or take $5 cuz I can find loose change in my house somewhere. :P
Hey everyone. I decided to get a Mechanical Keyboard. My budget is $105. Here are my preferences: Cherry MX Black, Brown, or Red, or nonclicky ALPS. 6-key rollover with USB and 104-key with PS/2 (so yes, I want one that has PS/2 and USB) Nice Wrist Pad LED is a plus but not required to me anymore (I will just have to get used to typing in the dark ) Thanks everyone!
I have the G400 in my wishlist and my controller can help in the racing games. Wouldn't 1.25v be safer to overclock with? I have picked out the NZXT fan controller and one Scythe fan. I will consider your mouse suggestions I guess :P.
Well, I have completed my build planning and have $50 left. I have no use for the $, so saving it is not something I want to do. What else should I buy? Here is my build so far: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=13328589 http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0354589 I have also spent $156 on games, so that's how I have $50 left to spend. Any help is appreciated.
