Get the ASRock Extreme3 Gen3. It is compatible with the Ivy Bridge CPUs, which will run more efficiently and consume less power. Ditch the i7-2600k. Nowhere in the near future will hyperthreading be of use in gaming. Get the i5-2500k. Get the Antec Earthwatts 750W PSU. It is $20 cheaper and performs the same. The HDD is good. Drop it for the ASUS 24X DVD Burner, and use the $ saved to get the GTX 570. Get the EVO version of the Cooler as it is only $6 more.

So OP, have you decided on whether to build or not? If you have, I can help you pick out parts. Just tell us your usage, if you will overclock or not, and if you will run a dual-gpu set-up.

Maul is good for WFs, and tasks where your cannon does most of the work, such as Aberrant Spectres, Hellhounds, Mutated Bloodvelds, and Dagannoths.

It has made my Herblore training so much easier. Definitely get it!

With the cash you got at your disposal, you should be able to reach 89 Herblore (or 85 and spicy stew boost of +4) to make Extremes, plus have a good supply of Extremes, Spec Restores, and Super Antifires; maybe even Brews.

For Gaming, an i7-2600k is not worth the $100. Very few games utilize hyperthreading.

The Z68 MOBO comes with onboard sound which is pretty high def. I'd drop the Sound Card. Instead of getting the WLAN Card, just buy a Wireless N Adapter. If you do decide to go with the i7-2600k/2700k, I recommend the Hyper 212 EVO cooler.

Hmm, if it is allowed, you could go to the GWD or Ice Troll area and have the weather deboost fm and cook there.
