  1. Spent a reasonable chunk of time Dungeoneering this week. I'm enjoying it a lot more, so I've been doing it a lot more. I've only gotten one level, but nevertheless, I've been enjoying it. I've been tossing up whether to buy the Offhand Rapier or not yet. Is it any good? Is it worth it? My plan is to buy it and Rapid Renewal (So I can cross yet another thing off the Completionist list) if it's any good. I also acquired another Crafting level, I've been getting a lot of Crafting daily challenges lately. I think it's a hint that they want me to get 99 Crafting. I'm thinking of looking into it, but to do it I'd have to head back to SC for a bit. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

First up this week was 89 Dungeoneering, hopefully the first of many Dungeoneering levels thanks to the solo rebalance: (Though I have no idea how it'll work out with EoC now out) Not that I've made any Overloads at all yet, I now can! I got 10,000 Fellstalk potions (unf) for 1M after BXP weekend (Saving around 10M at the time) and decided to used them all up. Still have enough for a little bit into 97, too. Catch you next time, ~Dax.
  3. Post-rock is amazing. I can't see how it's possible to dislike it at all.
  4. Finally finished off a long-term goal this past week, 99 Construction! The only reason it took so long was that I took my time playing Stealing Creation and didn't really put a lot of effort in. By the end, I saved around 6,000 planks (Through avatar buffs, lamps and Dungeoneering stuff), which was a nice little bit of cash back. I got it at the same time my girlfriend got 99 Cooking. After Construction, I had a nice little day where I leveled three skills, Slayer (to 98, getting close now), Smithing (to 90, matching 90 Mining) and Hunter (to 86, still my lowest skill, but slowly getting better). And finally, a clue I did, not that anyone cares about that, though the reward wasn't thaaaat bad this time. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

I saw it quite some time ago. I thought it was pretty good, but Edward Norton has many more better films. I remember the rant he has on stuff well. I thought it was quite well done, even if I can't really remember what it was about.
  6. Been a good long time since I've checked up on this too. Had a pet alive for 13 months, not bad, hero.
  7. The Rubberband Man, by Electric Six. Very catchy song, Zodiac is an amazing album.
  8. Accidentally killed another champion! Just had to do a Slayer daily challenge, and decided to finish off my task, luckily, I got a scroll. And then I did some clues: And finally, I got another Construction level! Next week, I'll have one last one for ya. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Excellent episode. Was just brilliant. [hide]Sad that T-Dog is no more, but it was just brilliant. From last season to this one, Carl has jumped a ridiculous amount of places from one of my least favourite characters to one of my favourites, how he's handling everything is just awesome. Can't wait to see Merle/Daryl catch up, though with the Governor likely heading along on that trip, that might not go too well. Something about him doesn't sit well (And knowing he's a bad guy from what I've read about the comics, and that whole zombie head aquarium doesn't help). [/hide] This season has been going ridiculously well compared to last. Can't wait for next week.
  10. Nice little bonus exp weekend. I put in around 12 hours of work, which seems to be my average throughout all the weekends. This weekend allowed me to skip quite a large number of games of Stealing Creation, which is good. But I still have to play another forty or so games for Construction. Heh. Here are the levels. And then the weekend ended, and I finished a clue: And today, I got another 90+ skill! Only three to go after this! And that's all for now. I'll be playing some SC and getting Construction out of the way, if I can tear myself away from Pokemon White 2. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

  12. N-n-no more randoms? B-b-but.. My free exp every now and again!
  13. Knights of Cydonia, by Muse. Good stuff, definitely the best from Black Holes and Revelations.
  14. Quite a nice day for me, to the best of my knowledge, around eight years ago at around this time (6:30PM), I first signed up for RuneScape. After going through a few names, I finally decided upon Daxter76, and so it began. After taking my time through Tutorial Island, I found my way to Lumbridge, and so I played, I can't remember much past that moment on my first night, but I know it was enough for me to keep playing, and get both my brother and sister watching me (They signed up the day after, and both no longer play). I have many fond memories of my old F2P days, such as my sister withholding the secret ways of Defence training (I had once worked it out before and gotten to level 8, but couldn't work out how to do that again), she eventually gave it up and I ended up getting many more levels. I remember finishing Knight's Sword and jumping up a lot of levels and being able to make full iron, and I spent many a day mining, smelting and smithing the ore into full sets, in which I often took back to Lumbridge and gave away for free. I also remember selling hundreds of natures and laws and various other runes for 2k, which I thought was a good deal. I spent a lot of time questing, and I had finished all quests except Dragon Slayer. I couldn't work it out and couldn't beat it, so I asked my friend, who was a lot better, to help out, he watched me as I did Melzar's Maze and Elvarg, and supplied the lobsters. It wasn't all good memories, I remember getting scammed for nearly everything I had in the old trust game scam. I remember running back to the bank multiple times to grab more things to win. 'Oh I still have a couple of hundred chickens and some iron in my bank! Gimme a sec!'. I started getting worried a bit after that and continually asked for my things back for a few minutes, but the scammer knew that was it, and off he ran 'Jacked noob!', he said. And off I ran to my room and bed and punched it, screamed and lied down for a while. But I had learnt my lesson, I worked my way back to where I was and I was more aware of scammers from then on. I got jealous of my brother and sister a lot, too, they seemed to be in the right place at the right time a lot more than I did. My sister ended up walking away with a member's account of someone she met in Varrock, I watched her play on that for a while and got quite jealous. I though full Rogue looked amazing and wanted it greatly (Which I did do, once I was reminded of its existence many years ago). My brother ended up getting a free 100k (Which was crazy money for me, I'd never seen that much in one spot, I'd slowly acquired my full rune set over time). I forced him to give me 10k, though. I played F2P for many years, before finally having some spare Christmas money and I worked up the courage to ask dad for members, and so I got it. And it was one of the best days ever. The first way I remember heading out was through the Dig Site gate, and started that quest, the track Venture still gives me intense nostalgia, I believe I got held up later and couldn't do something because I hadn't done Druidic Ritual, so off I went that way and did that quest, starting Witch's House and other such quests. A week later (I could only use the internet often on weekends at my dad's house, so RuneScape was a weekend thing, and a weekend thing I much looked forward to), I found myself in the Karamja jungle, doing Tribal Totem, but I had to log out because it got stormy and rainy outside and dad didn't want the computer going. I skilled a lot (I remember recording all the levels I got on one of my first weekends as a member, I remember recording 67 levels, all low levels, but still quite a lot for me) and did a lot of quests over my time. Questing became quite a big thing to me, and so I decided to obtain the Quest Cape. I did quests as soon as I could, and found a lot of them quite a lot more difficult than they were for that reason, but I loved them anyway. The last quest I finished to get my cape was Mournings Ends Part 2: (I was quite happy, as you can see by that) I was planning on having a party for my cape, but no-one was online, so I got two people to come along and got that awesome cape, but I could only enjoy it for a half hour, as I had to go back to my mum's house for the week. But man, I looked cool. I continued on, doing each quest as they were released, and slayed a lot, so much so that I decided I needed a 99, and so I got it. Defence was my first 99, which I got alongside 85 Slayer (The whips didn't come along soon after, unfortunately). It wasn't my first choice for a 99, but it was good, and I felt awesome. My second 99 was my first choice, I always had loved it and the cape, so I got Woodcutting after that (And after Ivy, I changed my name part way through to Dax Cuts Ivy, I was walking around for a couple of weeks not doing that, hehe). Time passed and I acquired more 99's, third was Firemaking (Which I was lucky enough to get a Visage part way through, so I went and bought myself some yews and magics), then Attack, then HP, then Farming (Oh man I loved this one, my favourite 99 and cape for sure, now), then Fishing and Cooking (In that order, but within minutes of each other), then Strength, then Fletching, then Prayer, then Thieving (Which I got solely for my girlfriend, cute, I know), then Runecrafting (Runespan 4 lyf), then most recently, Summoning. Part way through that list of 99's, I decided I'd get a Completionist cape, and so that has been what I've been working towards for some time. I have many more little memories to speak of, and to ramble on about, but I think 50 minutes of typing is good enough for now. I regret none of the time I've spent playing RuneScape (Which is still 100 days less than a year total, aww yeah). I've enjoyed it thoroughly and I'm fairly sure I will continue to enjoy it. Here's to eight years! Catch you next time, ~Dax. (Also, here's all the levels I've gotten this week) [hide] [/hide]
  15. I download all of my shows (And that's a lot of shows) and watch them on my computer. I haven't sat down and watched a real TV in years.
  16. Oh you, Pepsi. You're cute.
  17. I was getting a little bored, so I looked at my skills, considering leveling all of the lower ones, when Ranged caught my eye, 80,000 exp to a level, easy enough with chins and whatnot, and I have plenty of them lying around, so off I headed to mummies (Haven't yet gone to monkeys, and wasn't feeling particularly adventurous to go there) and worked towards the level, 40,000 exp later, I got a little distracted: Never ended up getting the level, but that marks off three Champions (Zombie and Giant before this), which will save me some time when I go to trim my Completionist cape! I've spent quite some time at Stealing Creation over this past week, slowly working through the stack of oak planks I bought months ago, resulting in this nice little level: And finally, using up my clan ring and my daily mining of sandstone allowed me to get another one of these levels: And that's all for this week. With news of another bonus exp weekend on the horizon, I've already decided to spend that time doing Construction, which will hopefully cut back my time in Stealing Creation by quite a lot. Hopefully I don't get called into work or anything crazy like that over the weekend, and can make use of that bonus exp. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Another week down, with another couple of nice levels. And another little, easy goal I need for Completionist: Got a Hunter level, bringing me up to 85+, which looks a lot nicer than 84+. Got 95 Agility, too. I miss the Gielinor Games and their beautiful 35K free exp a day. And finally, halfway! Thought I really needed to get Construction out of the way, so I've been playing a lot of SC and getting that gone. Catch you next time, ~Dax.
  23. Telling Me Things, by BlakRoc. Liked Black Keys well enough, but this isn't as good.
  24. Everybody knows Gunzerker's where it's at.

Good week, this week. All the lamps, penguins and Jack of Trades have finally finished another skill for me. Very pretty cape, and an awesome emote. Now to dump all my lamps and such on Slayer! I also got another couple of levels this week, 88 Smithing: And the much more impressive, 97 Slayer: (Pssst, don't tell anyone I used my 700K free exp on it) Also, put my Insta-Kill dart to use and killed off another requirement for the Completionist Cape, a QBD kill! Alas, no particularly awesome rewards, as in, Visage, Dragonbone Kit or Dragon Kite, but those 10 torstol were nice. That's all for this week, catch you next time, ~Dax.
