76: 99 Crafting... Next Week. I'm Sorry!
I aimed to have 99 Crafting up and ready to go, and I would have, but some things jumped in the way and I couldn't get it done tonight. I'm 25K exp away, but I can't get it just yet. Plus I have to work early tomorrow and I can't just do it then. Kinda annoying, but it's all good. Also my internet stopped working when I got 98 Crafting. SO I MISSED THE DANG SCREENSHOT. First one I've missed since 80-something Ranged, which I accidentally forgot when I went to grab some food while fighting Vyrewatch once upon a time. On the other hand, I got some other nice levels, so not all bad this week. First of all, though, I acquired a new island destination in POP. Winds' Home. I really enjoy unlocking things in Ports. I don't care for the armours or whatever that I'm working towards (Though that will be a nice bonus), but I really enjoy seeing more and more of the Archipelago (Which is pretty much the best word ever, too) open up. Also seeing my crew, captains and ships get better with time. I must take a moment of silence here, though, as this week marked the passing of my favourite captain I've ever had, Be-Ever Humble Song. A brave and noble captain, who gave his life to save the crew members (A couple of Judge of Dice and a Beurocrat were there, so that's pretty good that they didn't die too) aboard. RIP Be-Ever Humble Song. I will try and name my forth ship after your legacy. Next up this week was a nice little level, one of which I love to see getting up more and more, as there's a hell of a lot of it to go. 94 Dungeoneering! Next level, we'll be seeing 95, and the shiny new red floors, and some shiny new bosses to murder. Quite excited for that. And finally, halfway! 92 Hunter, which also brings me up to 92+ Stats (Awww yeah). Getting a lot of exp thanks to the Guthixian butterflies. Also, now it has become my skill to dump my exp on, so this'll be going up super fast from now on. Catch you next time, where you'll definitely have 99 Crafting, ~Dax.

Goal for the week...
Congrats on all your levels. The Adze is annoying to get the first time, but if you ever need to do it again for whatever reason, it's a very simple thing. As for hide tags: [hide]Your text/image here.[/hide]

Age of Empires II : HD
I'll probably play it for a bit. Obsess over it for a week like I do every time I play AoE II and then abandon it. Only to get it months later and repeat the cycle.

In the beginning...

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Awesome. The Platinum's super easy to get in the first (But then again I could probably manage it in less than a day and have done it far too many times). The second and third are a lot harder. Especially if you miss an orb in a spot you can't get back to. I bet it's the mission in the water slums with the million Krimzon Guard guys.

75: Run on for a Long Time, Run on, Ducking and Dodging.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrBGUqNBEgE Huzzah! 99 Agility! Quite glad to get this one out of the way. Went super quickly, thanks to Skoll boots, penguins and trolls. And also an update to my Dominion Tower ways, though not much has happened there. May or may not have another 99 for ya next week. We'll see how it goes. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Tribute to Guthix and New Combat Abilities
I was about to post something like that. His followers didn't seem to get the memo. Solomon is a complete [wagon] about it, what with selling the equivalent of a commemorative T-shirt to mark the occasion. On that note, the free item for the month is the (previously released) brutal mace, for those who are interested. I do realise that we were the only ones who heard him say his last words, but still.

Tribute to Guthix and New Combat Abilities
Jagex is makin' it real hard to follow Guthix's last words.

Sunfreet.
First of all, my stats. I'm a bit behind on my EoC battle techniques, and I haven't seriously fought Sunfreet before. I've taken him down in his easy version, but that's a five second job. I know I need to memorise the fire patterns and his moves and such, but what is the best course of action (Abilities, combat style, everything) to take him down? I have a reasonable bit of money set aside and could likely get a few weapons (Though maybe not Drygore or Nex gear or anything) or whatever to help out. He's my last special challenge to take out and that'd be awesome to get them gone for Elite Desert tasks. That'd leave on Pest Queen and quite a few journal pages.

The Final Four
You've got the methods right. They'll be the ones you'll be doing the entire way there. Dump all your lamps/Trolls/Penguin points on Agility. Don't forget to max out the Thieving guild and get all the Hanky points each week for Thieving. There's the Giant Chinchompa for Hunter which starts every hour, I believe, but I always forget about it. And you may as well do your daily tasks every day to get that chunk of exp.

I think I love you, Troacctid.

74: The Dax Wakes.
Alternative Title: The World OH GOD I CAN'T MAKE THESE DECISIONS JAGEX HOW DO YOU SO EASILY TOY WITH MY EMOTIONS. Alternative Alternative Title: The World o gawd da feels so many feels [spoilers ahead, folks. Though the way Jagex is treating this quest, they won't be and can't be spoilers for much longer.] And what an awakening it was. Hands down the best update of the year, which of course, is not a hard achievement to acquire just yet, and I can only hope that it'll be beaten somehow and hopefully on multiple occasions. Truly a great quest, and I enjoyed it so much more than any quest we've had in a long time. In fact, I believe the last quest I truly enjoyed was the Ritual of the Mahjarrat, and that was way back (And much further back than I thought when I looked it up). Unfortunately, it was very short. the combat was somewhat challenging, but not too difficult to work out (I only died once, and that was when I didn't realise what the Automaton was doing), the puzzle was so-so (After I worked it out, it was very easy), so I was somewhat disappointed in the ways of gameplay, but it made up for its shortcomings in other ways. The real reason this quest was so good was because of the soundtrack and the lore. First I'll have a little chat about the soundtrack. Amazing stuff. They really go all out for Grandmaster quest soundtracks. I remember While Guthix Sleeps' music being ridiculously good. But this was even better. The battle music really upped the ante (Though I picked the right Guardians for the right rooms, so they were all really easy fights) and made it one hell of a battle. The music in Guthix's old home made me super sad and that was awesome. And that's about it for the soundtrack. Soundtrack summary: Ridiculously good soundtrack. I'm a lore guy. Give me a lore-heavy quest and I'll be more than happy. This filled my lore requirement and then some. I've never been toooooo much of a fan of combat. I had a very long Slayer phase, but even then I've jumped around a lot. Even though I've maxed my melees and I'm well on my way to Magic/Ranged. Combat heavy quests have always been a disappointment to me. Lately, I've been staring at The Brink of Extinction, hating its uncompleted status, thanks to the combat. Other quests like Dream Mentor, Desert Treasure and such were horrible moments in the way of my quest cape. The story was amazing. Just so good. I never expected the death of Guthix until Sliske showed his face. That smile he gives you as he stabs Guthix made me hate him so much, yet love him so much for being such a great villain. I'm kind of glad the Dragonkin took care of Lucien for us, so Sliske could have his moment. A much better villain than Lucien ever was. Lucien would have announced his plan and acted like a great almighty Mahjarrat about it. Sliske just teleports in, kills Guthix and takes off. Leaving the mystery and some of his stockpile of awesome. When it came to choice time I had to walk out of the room and make a very difficult decision. Azzanadra and Wahisisiisitisrisitel had been such good allies until this point, but the Guardians of Guthix had more of a good point, and I am kinda one of them now. Zilyana had no reasons whatsoever and I didn't consider her option. Saradomin is lame, anyway. I had my walk and decided to side with the Guardians, hoping my Mahjarrat chums would respect my logical decision. Thankfully, they did. I got a little annoyed at the druids for building a big ol' shrine right in front of Guthix's body. But then I remembered that they weren't talked to like I was. His story was quite sad, and I nearly shed manly tears, but I held them back and honoured the passing god's final wish. Though I remembered him when I lit the lamps and prayed at the shrine for 150K free exp (Sorry Guthix, but free exp!). I truly can't wait to see what Sliske does with this stuff. Hopefully the story continues in the way it has been, 'cause I am definitely ready for more. Story summary: Ridiculously good story. And for the other stuff this week. Here's the weekly Dominion Tower update. Not too much progress this week, though I got quite lucky and got three journal pages in two low DF chests. Past that, not much movement there. Another port update as well. If only I had the jade to buy them. But my jade will first go into my ships! And finally, the only level of the week. 91+ STATS, YO. GET ON MY LEVEL. Next week, we'll likely have a new 99 for your eyes to feast upon. BET YA WON'T GUESS WHICH ONE. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

Favorite Mahjarrat
Kharshai would probably be my second, and could even take the top spot if I knew more about him and had more experience at his side.

Favorite Mahjarrat
Gotta be Azzanadra. Seems mostly trustworthy and seems like a cool guy.

4th March - The World Wakes
Excellent story, excellent soundtrack, excellent rewards. Excellent quest. A bit too short, but that's forgiven when it hit me as hard as it did in the time it took to complete it. [hide=Spoilers]Sided with Guthix and his guardians. Definitely a hard choice to make, but I thought it was the better option. The Mahjarrat were a little angry, but my favourite, Azzanadra, seemed to be annoyed, but not hating and cutting off our friendship. Let's see what the sixth age brings! Bring it on![/hide]

7 years of Tip.it Forums
Pretty crazy to think I've been hanging around here for six years. I don't post much any more, but I read a fair amount of stuff. Nowhere near as much reading as I used to do though. At one point I'd read all of the Today thread.

73: This Week I Did a Lot of Dominion Tower, Did Some Port Stuff and Got a Couple of Levels and That's About All I Ever Do.
And here they are! I've got to get back to Black Mirror. Here's my Dominion Tower stuff, cleared a lot of stuff off the list, and I got another two journal pages. And some Port stuff. Unlocked the next region and can now get shiny green rocks! Also scroll pieces. And finally, a couple of levels. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

72: Half-way, Half-way, One to Go, One to Go.
Ah-ha! I forgot about that. If only I could get the other half, that's the largest thing I have left to do!

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
I chucked in Driver: San Francisco a couple of days back and I'm enjoying it a ridiculous amount. I didn't expect to have this much fun at all. I knew it was good, but not this good/enjoyable.

72: Half-way, Half-way, One to Go, One to Go.
Dominion Tower Update: More on that later, but first of all, 92 Ranged. The first aforementioned half-way. Secondly, the second half-way. This scroll is the second piece of the Tetsu legs. Woo. Thirdly, the boring one to go. I've completed the hard Desert tasks, and have a million Dreadnips already. Didn't know they were so easy to get after the initial unlocking. Fourthly, the better one to go, 98 Agility! Actually quite excited about this one. I'd much like to get that last one. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

71: 90+. You Know That's Right.
First of all, the weekly Dom-onion Tower update, not too many bosses this week, but I've instead crossed off the need to suffer all handicaps, and killed a large portion of the Special Challenges off. In fact, I only have two left, proper Sunfreet and the Culinaromancer and his buddies. A million journal pieces left to find, a million bosses left to kill and a Pest Queen to vanquish (The only boss I haven't killed, and the requirement for one of the sets of gloves). Here you are. Next was a successful scroll mission. T'was the only decent voyage to take on that day with that adventurer, so I took it up and succeeded. Three pieces left and I can build the Tetsu legs (When I get that sweet, sweet plate I need). And finally, the name-sake of this blog entry, I have finally acquired 90+ stats! Woo! Last of course, was Hunter, my least favourite skill. It looks so fancy with 90+ everything. (Watch Psych) That's it for this week. Next week we'll be looking at a 98 and a 92, and hopefully some other cool stuff. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

70: I Had A Good Title A Second Ago...
I got these levels late last night so I had something for the blog, and she wasn't feeling as good as she could be so she was asleep. BUT DON'T TELL HER I GOT THEM WITHOUT HER.
