  1. I think the problem is that there's a demand for gold farmers that has to be crushed. Where there's macros, there are gold buyers. No matter what Jagex does, bots are going to realize that RS3 is a better RS so they'll flog RS3 no matter what :boohoo:
  2. It used to be that it would be rare for autoers to say something like "buy gold at runescape clerk dot net", I've been seeing a slight increase of gold farmers. Autoers are a force to be reckoned with. Rather than believing the conspiracies that Jagex is covering up, I think Jagex is trying as the shark prices has been really high lately. Possibly due to that, I noticed that bs, lob, and flax prices has been going down. I believe there is going to be a crash on the low-lvl raw resources. The problem with this issue is that many people ignore the issue, hoping that Jagex will do it all. They fail to realize that people need to help report these bots (in other words, being good customers). I seem to think most people are lazy because there's a good chance I'll be asked this at fishing guild: "Aba, can you do something about these bots?" "Report them plz" "Aba, can u ban them plz" Jagex is aware of this issue and I don't believe they are covering up the issue; we just gotta report these autoers everytime we think someone with a funky lvl 3 character named "Zu Fang 0o0o01" is macroning, its just a click away to that report abuse button
  3. well, depends on the situation. In this case its: 1.Not answering dumb mod questions and finding dumber answers 2. Wearing pink clothing in public 3. Not telling people who I muted :anxious:
  4. keep it coming boyos :P
  5. I wish you good luck; you're gonna need it.
  6. God cape --- Which God? Saradomin of course
  7. Hi! Anyway, my favorite item is the pirate hat and rubber chicken.
  8. Yep, and lets make fletching give you range xp -.-
  9. Hello! Welcome to the internet, where everybody can interact in a fun, secure way. We do not take responsibility for any errors in the English language as such. Ok, seriously, why make butchered English a crime? It takes the life out of foolish players. It isn't our business about how people spell as some people use them as shortcuts (kinda lazy at times). Some of this is just stupid. Its all legal however.
  10. Nope, I want a few things to do; despite I rarely do the updates until they are a bit quiet.
  11. wow, please cut the flaming and threatening as it could make things nasty. Anyway, I'm starting to see that Jagex is really trying hard to ban autoers, but they always have some sort of counter-act (IP banning isn't that effective as people can change it) and autoers always come back. I think some of you don't realize that the shark prices are back from the chaos at the time I posted this thread.
  12. I seem to think that the rumors about mods and how "great" they all are half the time, very pointless and non-logical ideas. Muting and very few options is the only difference between mods and normal players. Being a mod is like having a tad extra authority around rule-breakers. But, unfortunately we don't deserve to be treated like celebs; it can give some false hope to foolish players.
  13. I understand this is still a bit hot. But, shouldn't we just let this issue drop?
  14. lol, locked for stupidity? Sorry to say, this was made at the time of the stupidity on the dog issue. I'm surprised you are still commenting on this issue as its long gone :/
  15. occasionally when I speak, I get something like: "wow, nice mod!" "0mG! ur a mod!" "mod! hii!!!" "hey wats krown thing" <- :-k
  16. so that means me and my mod cronies are gonna start breaking rs rules? :shame:
  17. Its more than just reporting people become a P-mod. You need to act very polite and report actual offenses. These people are the power-hungry ones that rarely never got p mod status. If I am wrong, tell me so with proof 'cause in my opinion, it doesn't take faulty reports to be a p mod. I rarely heard any abuse of report system in rsc. Jagex could scare them that mis-using support could get you in trouble. When you open report abuse button, you do get a note that if you mis-use it, you'll be banned. But, since when do kids read that anyway? :S
  18. nice description of people like me ^_^ anyway, very few are actual bad eggs, which means Jagex is picking the right people and rarely make mistake.
  19. Yeah that's true, usually people who get selected to be mods never disagree with what Jagex does, and if they do it's only very mildly. Jagex will never be willing to hire ppl to moderate. That's just the way it is. Are you trying to say that a lot of us are upset that Jagex isn't paying us? That is total bull 'cause I don't care about being paid as a mod. Second, there are a lot of mods out there and very few quit. P.S So much for a "hateful" job
  20. A lot were probably picked when the mod option came out.
  21. few weeks? You must be mistaken... I wasn't calling people noobs and I was very polite; but it took me FIVE years before I became one.
  22. There are rants on the forum about getting banned and somehow they slip in the fact that they bought gold online. Then they covered up the fact and spewed that Jagex banned them for no reason. :^o The thing is, as long as people buy gold, autoers would exist. If people stopped buying them, autoers decrease. Some use autoers for bank purposes but some are doing it as in gold farmer-style.
  23. but you can shoo cats too. Funny how no one complained about shooing cats :/
  24. Good job, you sure blow our minds away with your great sentence coherence. Oops... I'll fix that :S
  25. That was probably months ago because the rants sticky with all the unfair mutes/bans have not been as active as it used to be. Anyway, these mods may be new at moderating so don't point at someone who could be new unless you know for sure he's not doing his job.
