I disagree. I have people in my family that used to/use illegal drugs and their lives are just screwed up. I've met most of them and they are ignorant, poor, etc. Smoking and alcohol are nothing compared to what happens when people use illegal drugs (its their fault, but still.) Interesting rant btw. The world can feel extremely hard to face and there are moronic idiots who should be on the streets. But, we can get mad at the world and do nothing, or we could try to make an impact on the world. It may be a bad attempt, but I think its worth a shot.

What else can you expect if people are posting that the baby should die? I'm glad the mother is sticking with her decision, at least she cares about her baby, even though it'll probably die. What do you mean by the baby "impacting society in a negative way"?

Yeah, I remember watching Rugrats, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, and of corse, the majority of shows on Nick Jr. The thing about them is that they were funny, weird, and most of them had some good plots. Nowadays most cartoons are annoying and opposite of what 90's cartoon shows were (Although I think Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, and Jimmy Neutron and pretty decent).

I so agree. That show is getting so annoying, the way people obsess over it is :wall: . American Idol sucks. Too many people on that show try to pretty themselves up, most of them can't sing. At least Simon Cowell is a decent judge since he's always embarrassing people who suck.

At least not as insulting as saying "Kill [Anencephalic and mentally ill people]". I was mostly telling off the people that brought in the "developmentally delayed people deserve to die" argument. If nobody mentioned it, I'd be ok. You would have a point against me if most people didn't post "mentally ill people need to die". Although my last post was sort of pointless, I have to admit.

That went way too far.. Good thing the mom is giving the baby as much life as she can. I hope it can live a good life, even though she won't have a lot of advantages of the real world. It will have NO advantages, it is completely senseless, it will never see, it will never think, it will never move by choice. It CANNOT live a good life, since it cannot tell what happiness is, or sadness, or anger. It might as well be a potato. My sister is autistic and even though she is delayed in many things, its great seeing her alive and trying to live the best life she can. Anyone saying that we should kill developmentally delayed people just because they won't live much longer really makes me [bleep] pissed. It feels like nobody wants to give developmentally delayed people a chance and instead wants to "put them out of their misery". You don't seem to get this so I'll put it in caps for you. I've heard that, but I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed it was sort of based off their old's bassist suicide attempt by drinking cough medicine("As bottles call my name, I won't see you tonight") I'm not denying that its been based on the bassist's suicide attempt. But just to add a bit, A7X is influenced by Pantera, and in a way I somewhat think a bit of the two songs are a nod to Great Southern Trendkill. For one thing, both "I Won't See You Again Tonight" and "Suicide Note" are obviously about suicide. But both Pt. 2's are extremely heavy. Probably its both Pantera and suicide attempt influenced. Food for thought.

What did the CIA do that was wrong? They were "torturing" terrorists because they had information that could kill people. I hate to ask this again, but how is "water boarding" or slapping someone in the face torture? Why is the OP calling the CIA "torturers?" Has anyone heard of Josef Mengele? That man experimented on Jews imprisoned in all sorts of horrible ways that make anything the CIA does look G-rated at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

All she said was she was anti-gay marriage and Perez Hilton is making a big deal out of it (his name is similar to Paris Hilton, hmmm...). I'm glad Miss California is standing for her views, especially when a question like that doesn't belong in a beauty pagent. What was Perez expecting, a dumb blonde answer?
