I hate it when some person thinks rap is all about "money, hos, ma cracka goin down wit ma ak47". You are probably right if you are talking about T.I, Gorilla Zoe, Eminem, etc. If you check out groups of A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, The Roots, etc, you will probably find the best rap there is. Don't single-handedly judge a genre just because you listened to some crappy acts.

There is a difference between Hitler and Miley Cyrus since Hitler killed millions of people and Miley Cyrus is a harmless pop singer that sucks. I would pick a better example than Hitler if you are going to compare someone to a 16-year old Disney Channel mascot. If I can't call Miley Cyrus crap because she hasn't done anything to me then you can't call Hitler evil because he's done nothing to you. I didn't say you couldn't call Miley Cyrus "crap", I said that I don't understand why you can honestly hate a person just because she makes bad music.

There is some good punk out there (Dead Kennedy's, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ramones, Green Day, Sum 41, Dropkick Murphy's, Rise Against, Misfits, etc), but I'm not that big on punk personally.

You can go on google and look for good Lateralus artwork. What you do next is click on a song thats in Lateralus and click on "More info". All you do next is go to "Artwork" and click "add". You probably should remember where you put your pic. You should repeat that until you hit all songs off of Lateralus.

Actually, it would seem pretty interesting to write lyrics based off of storylines... like the Mahjarrat and such. Fantasy-based lyrics in general would be cool in Metal. Made as a whole concept album would be worth buying. You ever hear of Power Metal? Doubtless its my favorite genre,but some are really cheesy. AKA Dragonforce. Sorry to whoever got steamed over that, but I really think Dragonforce is extremely cheesy. They can play fast though.

Yup, almost every single metalhead is a testorone-charged high schooler. Unless you are refering to people that act moronic over one simple piece of criticism. I wouldn't pre-judge every single metalhead since they are just being loyal to their bands, however stupid most of it is. I wasn't going to go after you just because you trashed Pantera. I used to be friends with a metal-hater until he acted moronic, but thats another story. 1. Labeling Pantera a nu-metal act probably setted off a ton of metalheads. 2. Not to be picky, but I believe the first post you had on the DT page was "Oh Lord." If you ask me, that sounds more like an excuse for a fight than "poor me, I got attacked for hating DT." Didn't do that when you said you disliked Pantera though. My only problem was that you labeled Pantera a "nu-metal" band, but hey, each one to his own I guess. Thats all.
