First, I never said you were a "starving children in Africa" like guy, I have no idea where you got that from. I watch Fox News, CNN, and NBC for both conservative and liberal view points and NPR if I need to get fall asleep. You must have misread something because I never said I listen to any news media on Christmas.

Because whoever is comparing the two only heard one or two songs out of both bands.

Iron Maiden - Back to the Village

Oh God, NPR... One time a couple years ago on Christmas, I was listening to NPR to see if they had the holiday spirit. Turns out the majority of news reports were about starving children in Africa and some Christians getting angry over a Left Behind game. You only listen to NPR if you want to sleep peacefully without buying medication or if you want to hear about Schweddy balls.

I don't watch a lot of tv since most of the stuff on is crap. There is rarely anything worth watching nowadays. once in a while, the mainstream radio will play some good bands (Staind, Disturbed, Flyleaf, Linkin Park, etc) that have been getting a lot of MTV attention, but most of the artists/bands are pop rock (Jonas Bros, Fall Out Boy, etc), hip-hop (Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, etc), R&B (Rihanna, Beyonce, etc) or a hip-hop/R&B combination (Kanye West).

Fixed. Not really fixed. I didn't mind TOT unlike just about every DT fan here. Nope because I rarely judge anything without giving it a good listen. I was guessing that the latest DT album is going to be better than Systematic Chaos (Its a good album, but I felt kinda disappointed after Prophets of War). Btw, SilverSword, if you can find a better way to share your thoughts on DT apart from "Oh Lord" and "Boring. Widdlywoodly solos everywhere.", I would like to hear it apart from useless posts. You don't see me whining anytime someone mentions Blink 182 or many death metal albums. Just suck it up and resist posting unless you got something interesting to say about DT.

So, rather than focus on the music, pay attention to the artist's age? I don't really get it. However, if you are trying to say that pretty much all of the albums recommended are old, I would agree with you.

Staind - Lost Along the Way You gotta admit, for a mainstream band, Staind is really good considering it has more emotional lyrics than anger. Even the accoustic ballads are awesome, which is hard to say for most bands that attempt accoustic songs.

Limp Bizkit - N 2 gether Now What does "N 2 gether Now" mean exactly?

Right now I'm hoping for Rage Against the Machine to take these people down because they can't sing and they ruined a decent pop song.
