January 25, 200917 yr I've been browsing through this sub-forum a good amount lately and I haven't come across a single thread pertaining to rap. Now I could get very stereotypical and start rattling off reasons why I believe that people who play runescape generally don't like rap but I won't. I will instead open up a discussion for those who do enjoy rap. Who are your favorite rappers and why? I'm currently really into Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. I didn't know much about Jeezy until I saw him in concert (along with Ludacris who was great, Busta Rhymes who was also great, and T.I. who was horrible  ), but now I'm a big fan of him. I was really into T.I. until I saw him in concert but now all of his music just isn't the same to me. So yeah.
January 25, 200917 yr i like a bit of rap. i'm not ambitious enough to really get into it though. (in before flames)
January 25, 200917 yr Most people in this forum like metal. Others are scared to come here. :c Seriously though, I like all music. A lot of modern hip-hop, R&B, and such is really catchy. Modern rap is really more hip-hop and R&B. A few years back, though, I hate rap from back then. Turrible. Early rap, though, I really enjoy. Tupac Shakur era. Weezy, Jeezy, and Beezy are all pretty catchy though. And they have a girl, you wanna meet her? catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

January 25, 200917 yr Never liked Tupac. (Controversy!) I haven't listened to rap or anything like it in ageeees. I used to be really into it, the old school stuff that is. Kanye West and Nas were present in my youth (2 years ago  ) but nowadays, rap makes me want to hurl. Nostalgia threads make me wanna' dig through my attic for old records :P ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
January 25, 200917 yr Krs-one, Rakim, Saul Williams, UDS (If that counts), Cypress Hill, Scroobius Pip, Del, and that about it. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
January 25, 200917 yr When I'm not listening to indie rock I do listen to hip hop. Some of the artist that I listen to Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, The Cool Kids, Common, Gym Class Heroes, JayZ, Lil Wanye (going to one of his concerts on Weds.), Mos Def, N.E.R.D., Shwazye, Wu Tang Clan, Young Jeezy. I listen to others but you'll find me listen to mostly these guys when I do listen to hip hop.
January 25, 200917 yr I used to absolutely hate rap, but now I'm indifferent to it; there are some really good rappers out there. I just don't want to put the effort/time into finding a rapper that I'll like. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
January 25, 200917 yr Used to be a fan of Eminem, still am, I just don't listen to it much. But, I quite like some of the stuff by Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Lil Jon and more which I can't remember at this time. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

However, play Lapdance for me and I can't help but smile haha.
January 26, 200917 yr I'm kind of in the same boat as Adio here. I've heard some stuff I've enjoyed (Saga Francis's work for example) but I really haven't actually dwelved into it to find out what I really enjoy. @ Crusader: ICP are so horrible. I mean, you can say that about a lot of bands but ICP is one of those who really have no redeeming qualities about them or their "work".

I've heard some stuff I've enjoyed (Saga Francis's work for example) but I really haven't actually dwelved into it to find out what I really enjoy. You can add me to that list too. The artists that have probably piqued my interest the most have been the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and Nas. I've been meaning to check them out further...
January 26, 200917 yr I listen to Mos Def and Public Enemy on occasion. Beyond that I know very little about rap. Beer
January 26, 200917 yr When people don't rap about money, [garden tools], and "respect," I like rap. When people do, it shows they're idiots who'll ruin their life for some "street cred."
January 26, 200917 yr I'm not a big fan of the genre but i do like some eminem, nas & public enemy works. Haven't got deep into the genre tough.

January 26, 200917 yr Da Hom3yz. They are an indie rap band, so you probably won't of heard them. Here's a video of them.
January 26, 200917 yr Oh yeah, country rap. As strange as it sounds, it's actually not too bad...(Better than some stuff I've heard...) And apparently it's called c-rap for short. How awesome is that. Seriously though, there are a few rappers I like. But nowhere near my favorites. I've never heard of country rap being on the west coast.
