Got my W-2 today too. But my paycheck was mysteriously absent. Either way, I'm more upset about being taxed for a random $640 the government is claiming it granted me last year for unemployment, which I did file for, but was rejected actual funding. So they gotta get their shit straight. I'm not getting screwed this next tax season like last year.
  2. I saw an old high school friend at a diner last weekend, hadn't seen him in about a year, but he's still crazy as hell. I walk up to talk to him, he smiles, gives me a hug and what not then shoves me aside gently and points to a girl and says "dayum that's a fine ass". She immediately spun around and he gave her the biggest smile ever and she sat back down with her friends to which my friend said "ahhhh she didn't give me nothing". I thought it was hilarious, but it dawned on me that this encounter was essentially the ideal of what we talk about here. He was quick, he was efficient, and he got his desires across in a simple sentence with less approach anxiety than a magnet. It was hilarious. And awesome. Alpha as [bleep].

English names have meaning, but you have to go back to the original root language, like Giodano did. Nick may have no meaning, but in Greek it does.
  4. I'm not a fan of "waiting periods". How long after she breaks up with her ex until I can take a swing at her? How long must I sulk and avoid a girl that rejects me before it's not weird? How long into a relationship does sex start to be expected? When should I go in for my first kiss? All of these questions will get the same ish answer from me (at least). The timing will be right when it feels right. And as much of a non-answer as that sounds, there really is no quantifiable way to measure intrinsic feeling and destigmatization of your social surroundings. We're not in your head, it's for you to decide when the moment is right. Just don't hesitate to pull the trigger when it is right. That being said on a personal note, I've noticed it takes a long time for me to warm up to people. Even my best friends, generally I didn't care about them or even talk to them the first year I knew them. Perhaps a factor in why I'm so reluctant to start a relationship. The girl I was "dating" around this time last year has either blocked me from facebook or deleted hers. Not entirely sure, but I don't care much. Not the cleanest of "break-ups" but she told me she was done, I said okay we both accepted, and theoretically both moved on. I guess I'm just curious what became of her. (and no this paragraph is not some weird ploy to express I only just now gained feelings for this girl, despite how I accidentally made it sound that way lol). I guess that's another benefit to immediately cutting off contact though. There's no what if's or curiousity, it's just done. Over and simply done. In other news, cute girl sits next to me in my sexuality class and my religion/psychology class. she was in my bio of cancer class last semester to learn more about her bladder cancer. Yet I've never met a happier person. Perhaps I'll talk to her more. Or perhaps I'll just let another opportunity pass me by...

Draino+Aluminum+Barium+pressure. Fun household explosive. But you didn't hear it from me haha When looking back, you'll remember the nights where you snuck out and undermined the law, not the night's you sat around in a quiet place. You better go to that party. Sounds sick. (besides, being of the older crowd makes you sort of a celebrity appearance, it's good fun) former US honors history here. We primarily focus on the Pacific campaign, and especially the Pearl Harbor attack. A lot of politics involved in the US goverment and propagation of the draft. Still taught loads about the general European front though, including the breaking of the Versailles treaty, the communication sabotage from the Germans, invention of radar, The Russian revolution, The battle of Leningrad, and so on and so forth. Granted, the American Revolution was painted to be "[bleep] the Brits, they taxed and massacred our people so we started a war and kicked ass. MURRICA".

I'm 6.5 years older than my brother and he's in a harder math course than me. Yes he's smart, but this is what I get for taking an intro math course for easy credits haha

Spent 12 hours in a diner on it's closing day with 15 of some of my best friends, eating and drinking until the wee hours of the night. Landmark Diner retirement -> Irish funeral style. Hugged the owner, paid my respects to my favorite waitress, got some handshakes, presented our group's gift to the owner...stole a menu. My friends and I ended up being their last customers ever. I suppose this holds more relevance if you knew the legacy behind the Diner...just imagine if Moe's Tavern allowed underage drinking and was around for 20 years. Then Moe retired and set a closing date. That was the magnitude of this extravaganza. The older brother of my friend; his friend group brought in 34 people, flown in from all over the country back from grad schools all accross the map to toke&dine one last time with the shiny diney. Much love. Best day I've had in a long while.

You should have seen the bricks they shat last year when they did this to me and I came in with a mo hawk haha. I think I'll come in with a skrillex this year. Yugi's hair defies the laws of physics, I mean if you could get it to work I'd absolutely do it haha

4/6 of my superiors told me to get a haircut today. I spent less than 6 hours on site. My hair is so bootifull tho.

Got new uniforms at work, my head manager said I should probably shave to make it look the get-up look real fresh. Got off work at 3am, went to the diner for drinks with the crew. ~6 beers later I come home at like 6am. 1030am I get a call from my GM to make sure I come in to work shaved and with a new haircut. [wagon]. How you gonna call me after a night of drinking, less than 4 hours after my head hits a pillow and tell me exactly what your superior told me last night in a douchier tone? I swear i would not have been this hungover had I woken up on my own accord. EDIT: oh, and I forget if I shared this with you guys and gals yet or not, but this is the prettiest youtube video in existance:

'murrica has a thing where you can only get a job if you're a shining gem of a person or through nepotism.

The source said it has a 63% disapproval rate, so I wouldn't get your undies in a bunch quite yet.

I'm sure the hiding behind a mask thing isn't helping. It's like having diarrhea. Holding it in isn't doing you any good. Just get it out.

Kill them all. @Tim not sure I could picture you with guages, but hell if you want them go for it. I've been toying with the idea myself, but I believe I'll merely be getting piercings nearing my 21st and following up with fakes

The quest to get my friend another job continues. Week 2. Other interesting things today include finding a song called "Insert title here (dubstep)" by "Unknown". It's actually not bad. Youtube it. And this random hilarious comic generator: http://pandyland.net/random/ Other than that, I planned multiple trips to the aforementioned diner in my last post. Now I'm sleepy and feeling like I might get sick soon. I'll conclude with a screw you to HedgeHog for having gorgeous springtime weather while it rained all day here.

My town's been renovating and really stepping it's game up the past couple years. New food marts, a new mall strip, a go kart raceway, and so on and so forth. Sunday marks the closing of a local landmark diner that's been around for the longest time ever, famous for being the only leave-the-law-at-the-door 24/7 BYOB diner for miles. Real popular place after all the local bars close. I created an uproar on facebook, and a few dozen of my friends are going to eat there on it's last day for like a memorial dinner. My friend made T-shirts. Many pictures and autographs will be had. I'll miss it dearly. May the Haas be with you.

Cards Against Humanity is an excellent game to play while high/drunk. So simple, yet so funny. Today I woke up at 6am. I don't have anything to occupy all of this time with. Maybe play a little catch with a friend later, maybe have a beer or two...best I got from the looks of it.
  19. Rules of engagement is horribly written. And David Spade's only acceptable role in anything is the bum older brother in 8 Simple Rules. If you're looking for a good newly weds/classic independent woman dominated veteran marriage show go watch 'Til Death. Has the guy from American Pie. and Ray Romano's partner.

Haven't seen some of those names in quite some time haha. Happy birthday Maddy. Tim: what kind of vinyl store is it? I'm picturing people in their early-mid 20s wearing bowler caps, skinny jeans thick mustaches and suspenders.
  22. Sounds like you had a hell of a night Ging lol related note: I've been invited to strip clubs by girls*. All of which were attractive and occurred on separate occasions. *really wild awesome girls.

  25. Noxx, you crazy bastard hahaha. Sounds like you were having fun. I'd have worked the green card excuse. Not as emotionally heavy as a dead wife, and your foreign. Woulda worked great. Anytime Kalphite :P Stop over romanticizing moments. Everyday is full of moments. Hundreds of them, and the more time you sit around thinking about it, the more moments you're missing. Yeah special occasions like New Years are fun and good, but it's just another day. We only make it special because we think of it as such. A first kiss creates a new "special" day. The first time you kissed her. And why is today not as good for that purpose as a holiday? It's not. You just think it is because of Hallmark. If she truly wants it, and you truly want it, create a scenario where it's appropriate. A good night kiss, truth or dare, a date, spin the bottle, there's many angles you could use pending your personality and hers. I'm gonna take a wild stab and peg you for a good night kisser. Take her some place you both like, make her feel wanted(read: hand holding/hugging/locked arms/etc) and go for it.
