  1. 2008 Toyota Camry Le is more like 15-19,000$... I didn't say new...
  2. I take back every word I've said demeaning the value of the M417 http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/50152289/4/355806237/ Once it gets the ACOG scope, it's a monster.
  3. All I'm saying is that for $5,000 I could have had a '69 Camaro Z28. Or a 2008 Toyota Camry LE.

I agree. The friends that I haven't had forever I met through the friends I've had forever, or through work. Granted a good portion of what I do with my work friends is drink, but we also hang out and play magic, watch movies, and play paintball. There's more to friendship than forgetting the nights you spend together haha

Drunk carnival, thanks for the invite geez. Last year was better. Last year I got "stoopidfacedd" yelled at the bike cops telling them that they weren't good enough for squad cars. Then I ran around a baseball field. This year I watched a live band [they were actually quite good] then I had to nurse my friend who got all sick and took her home.
  6. Sacred stones was a joke compared to the other GBA game [the non context titled]. You had a place to train your people and earn better weapons to make them all strong enough to win whatever battle. You were also given enough "promotion" items to max out all of your characters. In the other Fire Emblem GBA game you went battlefield to battlefield non-stop, minus the merchant guy that tagged along with you [that if he died you were completely screwed]. This meant that if one character died, whoever you had on reserve would be EONS weaker than the rest of your first draft army and likely die as well. And heaven forbid one of your promoted characters died so that you wasted the promoting item that you only get one of each of.... I rage quit Golden Sun 3 after playing for 5 hours and forgetting to save before the battery died. Still haven't gotten back to it.

drunk carnival today. That was about it. Tomorrow I'll go swimming. I need some more excitement in my life obviously.
  8. Happens to the best of us man, sorry. :/
  9. Doom without cheating was hard as hell, but possible. Doom II without cheating was literally impossible. After the 20th level or so, even on easy mode was ridiculous. but Doom II is among my favorite games of all time. I could spend hours "IDDQD" 'ing and running around enemies as they shot the crap out of each other instead of me. So much fun. Always went well with a Weird Al soundtrack in the background haha. Running with Scissors especially.

broken image, but atleast I see you're paying attention :P And I have the opposite thing with car maintenance. I wash my hands CONSTANTLY but heaven forbid I have to work on a car. That black grease and oil never [bleep]ing comes off...

Did I somehow watch an episode that hasn't been aired yet? Because I explicitly remember seeing Yakone be de-bending powered by Aang and Tarrlok de-powered by Amon. Yakone after being rendered harmless...what he did is unknown. Obviously he had a kid at one point though. And for now I'm assuming Amon fought through Tarrlok's blood bending due to his ability to nullify chi AND because he has a spiritual essence about him, making him not 100% human, if at all.

How do you fire a co-worker? I fired a co-worker because even though I'm a shift manager, I'm also rather low on the totem pole so to speak. So while my responsibilities and pay are greater than my employees, I don't necessarily out rank them. But I can fire them. It felt relieving because these kids were awful at their job and truly should have been fired ages ago. Work will be done at an efficiency rate like never before [i hope]. I'm not really a fan of firing people, especially since I was friends with all 7 of them, but I care deeply about my job, and they stood in the way of getting things done. It's for the betterment of my company and their own lives that the two concepts be separated. They'll be better off, and my corporation will be better off too.
  13. It's certainly pretty[actually and understatement especially given it's age], but it's also pretty damn old. I think you could find better.

I agree with both of these statements. -looks up who yakone is- Ok. I totally thought it was Tarrlok in the flashback. I guess it would be that Yakone guy. Still. I don't have enough information on what happened to Yakone, but is it possible Yakone = Tarrlok? Since this happened around 40(?) years ago and they look somewhat of the same age, I doubt it. Maybe his father though? They look somewhat the same... He's a powerful blood bender which makes him a powerful water bender, and water bending can also be used for healing. It's not that much of a stretch that he also uses his bending to slow down/stop his aging via water bending healing. Which would also explain why he's such a good bender - he's had lots of time to practice. I'd need to hear more about Yakone's story tho, to determine how likely it is that he's still alive and kicking. Either way, it can't be a coincidence that they look the same. I like this explanation a lot more than the Yakone was his father fact. Would have made him severely more bad ass. And now I feel the series is moving too quickly, because just as soon as they build Tarrlok as the bad guy, they strip him of his powers. Although, Amon is now #1 bad ass again, and I'm okay with that seeing as how he aparently isn't exactly human. ...Perhaps he truly is one of the Spirit World creatures like someone mentioned a dozen pages ago. and I totally called the Tarrlok is evil bit :P

Carnival week is a tough week to try to quit smoking again... Also today, I fired 7 of my co-workers. Felt...relieving.
  16. talking to my ex today she expressed a frustration I hadn't really considered, having been on the opposite end of this effect for so long: We guys see every girl as a "potential" hook up if not girlfriend if there is even an inkling of attraction. If we receive any notion, regardless of side that this is reciprocated, we act on it. When girls see guys, they see us as friends to begin with [unless other circumstances apply]. Girls flirt with their friends a lot for fun. Guys usually don't. When a girl flirts with a guy, sometimes it's just to be friendly to become friends with them. Guys than see this inch, and take the mile, seeing as most guys have enough friends and see this as the "green light" they were hoping for. But in reality, girls only wanted to be friends and get real upset when pressured for more. To which I said, you really shouldn't flirt unless you mean it, but that just simply doesn't apply to everyone I suppose...
  17. Are we talking paraplegic here? Amputee? Edit: [bleep]ing new page, always. Will go back and quote. amputee
  18. And for the record, I've seen girls with no legs I'd still count as "game". I can't find the exact picture to prove my point, nor would I be able to post it on this "PG-13" forum, but trust me...No legs can still equal "game". [side note: Googling "girl with no legs" and turning off safe search yields interesting results]
  19. You aren't even trying anymore, are you? lol, I have an ex that literally did try to kill my friend after i found out they were banging. Like had to get sent to a psych ward and everything. And she was a perfectly normal girl when I met her. Speaking of her though, as I mentioned she's back in town. I've been talking to her a bit the past couple days and she's actually quite normal again. I'm quite convinced she's gotten out of her crazy phase, but I suppose it'll be some time before I can say that with complete confidence. She's absolutely not as crazy as she used to be though, I give her that. Far from it so far. [and now for something completely different: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=GN7yYWGViyI ]
  20. This is Sam's ex we're talking about, mind you. And yes, she's crazy. DISENGAGE. The most you can do with it is fighting her to relieve stress, but it's in your [sam] best interest to just ignore/block it all.

SWAAAAAAAAG Why is that? In other news, put together my new office chair, since my old one killed my back. Also started learning how to play League of Legends with some friends. Should be fun. Because I miss her like crazy and want her back more than anything. :???: Do you want to go down RPG's path with ex's and issues? best to move on. I'm going to agree with this more than I'm going to pretend to be offended by this. Especially if you got that much skill in picking up women. They're STILL protesting? What's the atmosphere like around there? I'm thinking of going to the V8 Supercars (Its like the Aussie version to America's NASCAR love) this October for my 22nd, depending on my income. Its essentially like anarchy over here, but nobody cares. Last night was a good success, cops were boosted around the GP area so we hung out there, didn't even get tear gassed  I'm so jealous of where you live right now. I'd love to live in that environment. It just sounds so...exhilarating. ... Oh, and gratz on the promotion there Randox! Today I worked for 18 hours and missed 3 parties. best make up for it soon lol.
  22. To be fair, I only met one Indonesian [closest thing to Korean] that I met on Omegle. But I had a lot of luck in the midwest of the USA, particularly the Indianapolis region. Granted, most of these girls ended up being 13-16...
  23. which goes pretty well with the 70s suit/bow tie to be honest. I rock the same look post-mohawk hair wise. It's certainly annoying, but mine jew-fros so it atleast has some shape. I like the way it looks when straightened to play up the grunge look.

I live in New Jersey, we have the highest cost of living in the United States, reletive to whatever else. I'm pretty sure we're among the most expensive countries to live in. @Skull, as a shift manager myself, I can tell you that you're being "replaced" because you go away to school. They'd rather have people around that can be around all year long than wait 8-9 months for your to reluctantly show up on your summer break. I'm sure you were a great worker, but they're likely looking for a frequent worker.
