Dieing in the new monster area... (skull bug)
So this still means that the monster is safe if we have auto retaliate off, right...? It has been for me so far. Though I've been PK'd fairly easily a few times despite being level 112. Most people are more interested in the chaos elemental, but occasionally you'll get hit by a gang of skulled ppl. Only lost lobbies so far.

How Do YOU Pronounce Ardougne?
Thought I might be on my own, but no. "ar-doyne" - which is much the same as ar-doin with the doin like coin. Probably because of the place in northern ireland - there is a neighbourhood of Belfast called "Ardoyne". Now what about Lletya? Since my in-laws moved to Wales it makes me think they might be basing a lot of the elf names on welsh words. Lletya would then be k-let-ya (with the k sound running into the l, like in lannelli (clan-eff-ly or llandeilo (clan-dye-lo).

POH finally coming?
What makes you think you will make money out of carpentry? The RS market will make sure you won't and it may end up costing money! The only skills you can really make money at are the primary ones (mining, woodcutting, fishing etc). Most of the secondary skills (crafting, smithing etc) make little money or even cost. At least the products have less value than the raw ingredients... If POH arrive then they will probably be like farming, but may be access will be controlled by your friends list? Personally, I don't think they'll add to the game and I'd wish they'd face reality that they're not a good use of their time and our money. What is anyone going to do in their house?

POH finally coming?
granite kitchen Thingy LOL Granite work surfaces! I reckon will have to buy/make a brick mould and fire 10000 bricks from soft clay to make the walls... Actually, I'm hoping POH never come out but Jagex have probably said too much now to avoid this waste of resources...

What are the results of the mass ban - higher prices
I think you're misunderstanding this. It's total flow of money in and out of runsescape that fuels inflation. eg You don't remove money when you buy 10k drag bones, you're just circulating it. I've seen others do a more thorough analysis of this but, from memory., the main sources of cash into the economy are hi-alching, drops (inc thieving) and selling things to stores. The main drain was buying things from stores (I think!). This was rather a flaw once players got up to making most things with the balance coming from drops. Now there are items with up-keep - crystal and barrows - and other drains on cash to help balance the flow of cash into the game. What may make a difference is the new mage arena. It's provides a quicker alternative to hi-alching for levelling mage that brings (potentially) items rather cash into the games - while reducing the amount of hi-alching going on. I'm not sure how much it will affect alching tho, as most of this is alching mage longs and there is a virtuous circle of fletch and alch that advances both with little cost or gain. Anyway, I reckon prices will be mostly affected by the difference in the rate of cash and items into the game - more items more deflation, more cash more inflation. Most skill related items have reached a sort of market driven equilibrium - or worse where the skill is in demand. The rares are affected more because they more directly relfect the spare cash in the system.

Watch out! New scam on the loose!
Another newish scam: someone tried to sell the the 'arena' book cheap by pretending it was the mage book (+15 mage). They actually got me to go to their world to trade a gold mystic set for it. She didn't reveal what she was trading til I got there... luckily I checked it out first! Reported as while she did eventually admit it was a scam, she still said you had to beat the arena and do 8 quests to win the book... Also someone tried the ogre magi scam on me. Said he wanted me to weaken the ogre so he could finish a quest/slayer assignment/whatever. Again fortunately, I was busy slaying blues and it took him a while to communicate what he actually wanted. He saifd quite a lot too so he got reported... lol.

But may be they were contributing to the high prices by buying up to the rares in the first place? (with all the money they got from autoing)

There was a mod comment that banning IP was rare. The problem with IP addresses is that most people's PCs are subject to DHCP, NAT or both. This means that multiple players can share an address at the same time - eg a family or internet cafe behind a router with NAT - or at different times if the ISP uses dynamic IP. So banning IP is a very poor way of banning specfic players without affecting innocent others.

Why is Smithing So Popular?
Yes, when I first started (on f2p), mining and smithing were my best skills. At that stage I liked the idea of making all my own armour and weapons. Of course, now I know that's just romantic nonsense ;-). Once I hit mith I had to start buying my armour etc. It's only relatively recently that I could make full mith (I'm now 77 mining/71 smithing) but I get lots of rune stuff form training slayer (up to mail at least). So both skills are now below my average skill level of 80, but still not my worst. I mostly smith mith plates to alch these days - but I do like having lots of mith arrows and I might get to the point of making my own addy arrows as I've made a fair number of addy bars already. But no, it's one of my least popular skills now!

new mage thing isnt so bad.
Except the enchant XP is reduced by 25% in that room, but still very good.

Other races?
I can't see it happening. Consider to consequences: 1. Jagex seem to have to spend a lot of effort tailoring any new items of clothing, weapons etc to the male and female characters. Think how much more effort would be involved if this had to be repeated for (both sexes) of all the races? 2. Some of the characters (NPCs) have predispositions towards certain races. This should result in in player characters being treated differently by NPCs based on there race. This would be a mammoth effort to retrofit to existing quests etc. Then again, the NPCs largely ignore whether you follow zammy or guthix etc.

Recruitment Drive Quest Guide
Thats what I said...what are you incabable of understanding? actually you stated that the missing spot is where the missing one will appear after she puts them all in the room... this, however, is not correct. Reason 1: the statues change places...so they can't be in the missing place if the missing spot will differ. Reason 2. The statues are put into their rows (a row of bronze, a row of iron, and a row of gold) after she puts them all back. To put a counter view... I had to go through this twice. The second time it sorted the statues into rows but the first time it didn't. Also, I just rememebered the spot where there was no statue the first time and that worked twice for me. I've finished now so I can't contribute anything further.
