  1. Broke my screen, so I can't see all of rs at once. What should I do? The cool thing, which is clearly - get a claw drop. +troll
  2. That isn't possible with partyhats. Merchants normally ge bot and get offers in within 3-5 seconds. Good luck getting that green, bedman. If I get enough money in the next couple months, that's my next hat.
  3. Red and yellow were the two most common before the dupe, then purple got up there. Now greens... I very rarely see those. Someone in 3bo was talking the other day about how possibly greens and whites are the rarest. It's old, but this graph is a pretty decent reference if you want to get historic with it: An aside: I have a distinct memory of killing falador guards in early rs2 at the south gate when someone walked by with a yellow partyhat. I asked how much it was for his crown, he said 5m, and I was like WTF that's impossible.
  4. Well yes, humans are inherently selfish, which is why I can partially understand exchanging the items for junk. But dropping it all afterwards? They're just out of touch with reality.
  5. Sad. Looks like someone got hacked and bought someone else's junk, then they just dumped the junk when they were done. Seriously, how are people so heartless? For some reason, it just bothered me to see this. Someone went out of their way to make someone else miserable.
  6. Friend got 120 dg, congrats Mr Lovewins. So jealous. I want my life back.
  7. most pre-juju
  8. With juju potions for torstols, it's not worth it to farm anything other than the herbs.
  9. Run was mediocre (41) until the last patch, which gave me 30 herbs and a seed back. 11 double picks out of 19 total picks. Never had 3 seeds back though.
  10. Interesting point. V helm, k top, v skirt setup becomes Torva helm, pernix body, torva legs. You may be right.
  11. true, although I think getting 1-80 dg now is harder than it used to be. Everyone who knows how to dg already got it and won't bother going with you. In other news, my noob has a new name for a bit-
  12. wait do you still have plate also?
  13. final: look it's a backwards 4! yeah
  14. Half wine is the only edible that I don't see crashing - should be around 200m vs 30-40m for the rest of the edibles/disk. Look at r2pleasent's (i think) half wine merch back in the day relative to partyhat prices, and you'll notice that even in free trade, they were pretty rare. Crackers... like now, we probably won't have a solid going price, as there are just too few out there being sold, and because they are THE end-game most expensive item, most people with 1 are not willing to part with it for any price.
  15. Who is s/he and why do you keep saying that? S/he has a lot of catching up to do. Dragonseance is a friend of mine and is, indeed, going for 200m in everything. He's a college student, though, so he's at a huge disadvantage compared to some of the full-time scapers at the top of the high scores.

Mine/superheat to 99 mining, smithing, and far past 99 magic. It's by far the best way if you are eventually looking to max all 3 skills.
  17. Noooooo don't do that <_<
  18. SWH significantly lowers defence (if you can manage to hit, her crush defence is very high), and at 4 kills per hour in small teams, it only costs around 500k per hour at current prices.
  19. With the tradeable rares, I'll count items I have owned at one point. So, what I have left to obtain at any point in time: -Half Wine -Blue Partyhat (wore a friend's once pre-trade limits, I won't count that) -Green Partyhat (skipped it) -Cracker Christmas -Scythe -Bunny ears Other discontinued items you missed that i don't have -Toy boat -Broken disk -Turkey and drumsticks -Other random crap
  20. OR just remove the link from stupid swiftkit screenshots so I don't have to "Click to Enlarge" and go to the SWITFKIT WEBSITE
  21. This is a really common argument in RS for some reason. People don't blame Jagex for making the GE ridiculously easy to manipulate, they blame players for doing the only logical thing and taking advantage of it. They don't blame Jagex for not being harsh enough about banning bots, they blame players who bot when they know the worst that'll happen is a temp ban and maybe some stat resetting. And now, they don't blame Jagex for encouraging players to vote multiple times by making a vote that allows it, but instead blame the players who did exactly what they'd be expected to do. The fact is, when you're in charge of controlling or organizing people, it's more often than not your own damn fault if those people don't do what you want. The key is to make what you want them to do be the best course of action- if somebody can profit from doing something you'd rather they didn't (manipulation clans, spam voting), then you need to CHANGE SOMETHING so that it's no longer a smart thing to do (remove GE limits, implement a login on the vote). In the case of the vote, anyone who thought for half a second about what a player who wants the wilderness back is going to do would realize, oh hey, they're going to write a script to vote over and over. That is Jagex's fault because is was a direct and inescapable result of making a petition in which anyone can vote an infinite number of times. Why blame players for doing exactly what Jagex all but instructed them to do? Isn't this a pretty big moral argument? Like who is responsible if your house is burglarized - the criminal, or you for leaving the door unlocked? The way I see it, you simply can't pin the blame on Jagex for their naïvety and inability to expect people to tell the truth in the petition. They had to adjust when they realized how dishonest the community would be about the whole situation - which should have been expected. So, we can blame Jagex for being shortsighted, but not for lying.
  22. They didn't lie. The players lied by submitting runescape users that they did not create or own.
  23. I realize the 1 action per 1 reaction. But who said that the one action had to be made with your hand rather then your lips? While this may be against the rules, I find it hard to classify people who use hotkey scripts like this (which Jagex should just develop and release, like WoW) in the same category as botters who run a script and go to bed for the night. I still don't want to pvp against someone using an item switch bot... reason number 481 to not pvp.
  24. Yeah I would love for them to tell the business side of the dupe in 2003
