Runescape is such a great game because of its depth in the gameplay. A couple months ago, a couple of my friends and I bought guild wars to try it out. The weekend I got it, I had reached level 20 and gotten halfway through the game. Also, there was nothing you could do in the game but quests and kill things. Yeah, you could kill seperate monsters or farm their drops for dyes, but it was ALL related to combat. Within two weeks, I was completely bored of the game, even though I hadn't even beaten it yet. I have been playing RS for over a year (after coming break from a really long break) and never felt the boredom I felt after two weeks of guild wars.

I have 0 and would flip out if I got one.

Good goal, it shouldn't be too hard to reach. I see you have a decent runecraft level. Just make 8k nats and you should make around 1.6m (taking the cost of ess into consideration)

I'm gonna level some other skills for a little, mainly for the sake of total level, then I should be back on runecrafting.

Around Christmas, I decided to focus heavily on runecrafting in efforts to get a santa. At the time, I had never touched more than 4m cash. My stats at the time were: Months and a few (haha) unlucky scams later, my stats were: And... I finally had enough money to buy... a santa hat!! As some of you know, I sold one in 2004 for 600k and have been kicking myself ever since. This was really an awesome thing to finally get again.

Go with a cape. Rares are only neat if you earned it yourself (at least imho)

Go jimmy! I've been considering getting ~80 rc with nats and then using fires to 91. It's supposedly really fast and you break about even.

Well, rc blogs tend to be rather bland unless you are doing something else, such as dking also. Good luck and all for 91, but I don't think there is a need for a blog. And... 44-99 rc all through the abyss on nats is something like 600m profit :mrgreen:

My friend high alchs in dharok's tomb mainly because you never get randoms in there. He says people dying from time to time is nice, but he usually gives at least some of the loot back.

Mine went well, although I got nothing. I used iban blast and prayer back before verac could hit through. It wasn't cost-efficient or quick, but I just wanted to do one trip with my friend before he quit (about 9 months ago)

If you are looking to merchant for an onyx, definitely buy runes from stores, not mauls.

I am considering leveling a few smithing levels to build a mithril armor stand in my player-owned house, and was wondering: On the construction table, it says it requires 68 smithing to build. Is it possible to have 66 and drink a mature dwarven stout to 68, or must I actually have the level 68? Please don't respond unless you actually know the answer. I am not asking for speculations or guesses.

Yes! Thank you for the zammy mage. One time, I was getting rc pked and was about to die when the zammy mage happened to walk right next to me (I was tbed and entangled), and I could use him to teleport. The pker was pretty mad :-)

I've tried everything-- talking to her multiple times, having 1 ecto in inventory and trying to pick up another off the ground, having 1 in bank and trying to pick up off ground, having an empty ecto in inventory and trying to pick one up off the ground... It is definitely impossible as of 2 months ago (when I tried).
