Serephurus Saving for Guthans
la la la replied to The Dark Lord's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Nice guthans and magic cape! I am currently going for a santa (which I saw you have too). I am so jealous! -
Just remember, always keep your elbows at right angles and sit straight up during those many hours of play! :D

What if they weren't corrupted? What would their names be?

Verac the Shirtless Dharok the Dork Guthan the Cheater Torag the Lucky-Hitter Karil the Ugly Ahrim the Glitched (I killed ahrim, moved to guthan, went into tunnel, ahrim spawned, and kill me. I know I killed them all because I looked in the bottom as I fell and saw kill count:5 and I had just entered the tunnel) This is kind of a pointless topic, but kind of interesting. -
From my experience (and I own 2 complete sets), it is completely random. I did every trip but a few on easy with woman-in-arms or the little girl with the backpack.

Haha, that is funny! I take part in the first 2 things that pop up for "tip" in google. (The other is Duke Talent Identificaion Program)

I think it would be nice if they released a system where you had a display name and a login name, but again, this would be quite confusing.

Abyss- Why do people think it is such a good runecrafting pl
la la la replied to Minoture's topic in Help and Advice
With the use of 26 glories, I can make 104 trips before I have to recharge, which is a little over 4000 nature runes. Basically, you run through the abyss, craft, glory tele to edgeville, and repeat. -

I would have been there when you got the mages book, but you were accidentally 20 alchemist points short! Do I just bring bad luck wherever I walk? -
Do you play too much Runescape? Click here and Find out
la la la replied to Miss_Mafia's topic in General Discussion
Some of the questions on this quiz are completely unbalanced. Just because someone does not like to "get friendly" or go to parties does not necessarily make them play rs too much. Let people do what they want to do, and stop telling people if they have balanced lives or not. I am #1 in my grade of 300+, top 100 tennis player in the state of texas, district champion of UIL numbersense, and scored a 9 on the quiz. I would consider my own life balanced and don't need someone else to give me a quiz to figure that out. -

Well what objects are you talking about exactly? Items? I have compiled a list of new items that is currently being worked on to add to the database, if that it what you are looking for. So, just give us a few days to a week, and all the new items should be up there. As for other things, I have no idea. You might try finding this information out for yourself.

I found another article that sounds just like it was written by Duke: Read the rest of the article: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=52 However, I am beginning to either doubt myself. He speaks of taking place in a good amount of runescape labor months after being banned. Either I am on the wrong trail, or duke has created a new account, something I doubt.

Rate my Legacy...(Lock it)
la la la replied to bbq_sauce's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Well... before you leave, here is my story of you. I was playing battlefield 1942 about a year and a half ago when a new person came onto ventrilo named "Snuffles." We were about the same age and got to talking about all kinds of stuff while playing. Eventually, the topic came up that he used to play runescape and I had recently quit (for what I thought was forever). So, one night we just both got on and started messing around. He was on an account (before bbq sauce), and I was training my nubby lalala7324. We both got back into the game, but he created a new guy, who would be a skiller, named bbq__sauce. One day, I was cutting willows and he was fishing shrimp. We were talking, and he kept on getting frustrated because the dark wizard was attacking him. I finally persuaded him to gain a few magic levels so the mage would no longer attack him. Thus, the magic of bbq__sauce was born. Slowly, we played less battlefield 1942 and more runescape. We got members, and I actually didn't notice he was a tip.it member for a good amount of time. Things have happened since we were nubs cutting willows and fishing shrimp in f2p, but we still talk in game, on aim, and from time-to-time on ventrilo. Jonathan, Snuffles, I am a goth9, bbq__sauce, hyt-noob, hyt-bbq, whatever you want to be called, You will be missed. -

After lots of reading and research, I believe I know who the editor is. Flame if you want, but this is what i believe. I began by looking at patterns in this thread written by "The_Editor": A healthy life is a balanced life: work or school, sleep, chores, interaction with family and friends, games. If you're not doing some or all of these, then something is out of whack. Not everyone is a virtue theorist. I find it offensive that tip it promotes a "balanced life" over other ethical/religious choices. We only get one shot at life. This is a very religious statement. You're confusing "religion", "philosophy" and "spirituality" for one thing. Those are not a religious statements. They are not religious dogma, nor are they promoting one religion or sect over others. They are philosophical statements. Nowhere have I ever suggested that one religion or sect is preferable to another, and I strongly resent your accusation that I'm promoting any sort of religion. I am most certainly not a virtue theorist -- however it's been my practical experience, over several decades, that a balance between work and play, between feast and famine, between rest and exertion tend to lead to a more satisfactory quality of life. That's neither a religious dogma nor a theory, but practical wisdom born of a lifetime's experience. There is also considerable medical evidence indicating that a balanced life is a healthier one -- now I know a lot of doctors who think they're gods, but that still doesn't make espousal of balance a religion. We do only get one shot at our current lives -- that's not religious dogma either, that's basic physics -- time flows in one direction only. There's no "time outs", no "do overs", no rehearsals, -- you get to live from birth to death with no opportunity to go back and relive any portion of your life to undo any mistakes. Had you read the article in toto, you would have read the conclusion where I said: Quote: I am well aware of Tip.It's rules and policies. However, as Editor I have a degree of autonomy beyond that of the forum discussions. There are responsibilities that come with that autonomy and neither I nor my predecessors have abused the position by using it as a bully pulpit. We endeavour to both inform and entertain our readers, not preach, promote, or propagandize. I save my serious rants for my personal journal, which is not linked to these forums in any way whatsoever. I also compared this thread to some threads of tip.it writers. These include: Ard Choille, Kiara Kat, Swampjedi, and Duke Freedom. Yes, I think it is Duke Freedom! Now, Let me quote Duke Freedom's most recent article. Notice the "--" pattern as well as his general pattern of speech. I have had my say, respond however you like. Finally, let me add that Duke Freedom was released from tip.it staff upon breaking the rule of real-world item trading. One way he could stay as almost a complete member of the staff would be to work as the anonymous editor :-w
