I don't know where you get that... 85 slayer is just as painful as it always was - more people just started training it, therefore more people gets 85 slayer. Told you you could get the exp :P Grats dude.

Sorry, but there's not much guide about this.. You pretty much tell us what you can make with crafting. I could just go to tip.it's skill guide and pick crafting: would get me the same information. Try adding exp rates, which is more cost efficient etc.
