  1. God took Jesus and Mary straight up to Heaven so they wouldn't undergo the corruption of death. Look, it's not like I haven't thought about the fact that Jesus Christ might've not been the Son of God, but I believe that he was. Why? Because my faith is strong, which sounds really corny, but it's true.
  2. ...Did you know that the Nile river floods like, every year?
  3. I died to Draynor's infamous prison guard. Quit that character, started Freak_Boy. Killed goblins and such.
  4. Name's Continuum. You can see my RSN right there. <----There Been watching the Fourms, waited until I was fourteen to actually post. Kinda lazy on Runescape. I'm a questaholic tho'.
  5. Dragonball Z is an anime, not a cartoon. My favorite anime is Naruto. My favorite cartoon is either Invader Zim or Courage the Cowardly Dog.
  6. It's idiots who actually believed that Dan Brown was presenting an alternate scenario to the Christian religion, even though the man himself said it's just fiction, that indirectly barred me from seeing the movie. But at least I got my hands on the book.
  7. Did you know the Sphinx shows signs of water erosion? But I don't believe in a lot of the stuff in the New Testament. Yes, it's mostly all fluff based around some true events.
  8. Jesus was 33 years old when he died. Joseph was already dead, probably also gone up to Heaven, but he didn't ascend, his remains stayed on Earth. Jesus resurrected and then went and ascended. Mary was still alive after all of this, but she later ascended too. Why are Jesus and Mary the only two humans ever to ascend directly into Heaven? Because they were both born without sin. And yes, I suppose it would sort of be a Christian Mecca. If you doubt the existence of Jesus then you doubt the existence of any other historical figure. How do you get at that?
  9. There have been separate accounts by both Roman and Jewish historians that account for the existence of Jesus. They just note that he stirred up some trouble in Israel and was executed. I'm not going to argue with those who don't believe that Jesus was God. I know it and those who don't usually don't convert. So, yeah, don't turn this into an endless religious argument.
  10. I was walking down a street at, like, ten at night and this random dog on the other side of the street was just walking around. He looked up at me and growled a bit, so I cleared off. He left me alone tho'.
  11. If you're an atheist, then this conversation is worthless. You're obviously not going to waver in your beliefs and I'm certainly not going to waver in mine. Science and Faith are two separate things, don't try to mix them together.
  12. Okay, okay, so I'm wrong about the worn away inscription thing. But that interpretation of the Bible is just stupid. It's not the Bible alone, it's a dogma of Christianity. It's basically one of the foundations. The assumption that Jesus' and Mary's remains are not and never were on this Earth is part of the Christian faith. Yes, it's true the Bible isn't a very good account, but you can't say it's all wrong.
  13. 'kay. They definitely didn't find his remains. 1) How in the name of God did those inscriptions survive until today? They might have survived if they were inscribed in stone, but Jesus and his followers were poor. It would've been woodenness if he was buried, which definitely didn't survive until today. 2) Jesus was taken by God to sit at His right hand forty days after His Resurrection in the Ascension. Mary was taken to Heaven the same way.
  14. You would discard human lives so carelessly? "Tch, friggin' attention [bleep]. Go 'ways. EL-OH-FRIGGIN'-EL" Notice that I'm not an emo nor am I suicidal (considered it a couple of times out of curiosity, but that doesn't really count for what we're talking about). Now, I've watched this forums for a while. I just waited until I was fourteen to post. You guys are pretty smart, philosophical even...but this disregard for human lives is disturbing. If this is humanity at its smartest, then the future is scary.
  15. So by that reasoning, evolutionists have the facts right (considering its 95% or better of the scientific community who endorse evolution, which is a fair bit more than 'hundreds of eye witnesses'). I know this looks like I'm attacking your post, but the intention is purely to compare my point to yours (and yes, I know your post had nothing to do with evolution). Yes. The scientists are right. Forgive me for questioning the unquestionable god, but this sounds like a dictatorship to me, even if it is intended to maxamise something as pure as love. You're acting as if God was human, which he's not. If you want to see God as human, then compare Jesus with whoever. Let's say Jesus to a dictator. Who wins? I'd put my money on Jesus. Also, God created everything. Everything. I think he gets to decide what to do with it. Not quite. Scientists find it to be very possible due to the undisputed fact that DNA nucleotide mispairing is random as are the possibilities of a beneficial or a detrimental outcome to that offspring organism. True. But what created those nucleotides. Well, everything comes back to the Big Bang. What created the Big Bang? God. That's not me speaking, that's Saint Thomas Aquinas speaking. He tried that. Ever heard of Adam and Eve? God was in some obvious heavenly prophet-like creature incarnate when he told them "Don't do that" and they went and did it. He also had angels with flaming swords. Didn't work.
  16. Oh, man, totally forgot Josh Holloway was voice-acting. I'm now definitely getting it.
  17. The Transformer toys were very popular in my school. Yeah, I miss the feeling of riding on a powerful machine...and then it went away. My mom ran over my first one too. Hitler was a good leader, but he was also insane. :shame:
  18. 24 is overrated. Prisonbreak I don't watch... Lost is the physical manifestation of awesomeness. Better question is, who doesn't watch Heroes?
  19. Only an idiot takes the Bible 100% literally and probably isn't truly Christian. Fundamentalists are what they are. The Bible was written ages ago, so of course people didn't have the dates right. You guys are ocmbining Faith with Science. It contradicts itself (Yes, it does, and I don't feel like digging up exact quotes. Just compare the four Gospels' accounts of the whole tomb story), but that's because the Gospels were written by different authors, at different times, for different audiences. Random Quote: Christianity is like an expansion pack for Judaism.
  20. Duuuuur. Gawd, there's tons of things to miss. Invader Zim, Kablam!, Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats, FIRST SEASON of All That... All the TV shows for kids produced today is crap.
  21. Ya'know, not everyone commits suicide because they're depressed. The majority of them do, sure. I've considered suicide out of curiosity. But then there's that whole "You'll burn in Hell if you kill yourself" rule. Shoot. Guess God will take me when He's ready for me.
  22. If you can do it for money, I'll do it when I'm old enough... Otherwise, I'm keeping it.
  23. Problem: US Dollar is slowly collapsing. Solution: Move to Britain. It's the perfect country for gamers because it always rains, people have cool accents, and it's currency isn't slowly going down the drain. Drawbacks: None
