The crystal you get from arianwyn now has a destroy option. I think the suicide trick would work though. And about iban staffs- I have 3 of them. Drop your staff, kill Iban disciples for broken staffs, pick up your staff, go to the mage at the entrance and fix them. The charges aren't related to the staff, they're kept on the person(Like the camulet)

Dharoks helm has 10 less in all def then torag, guthands and veracs helm lol -.-

And also guthans works in barbarian assault(very useful if you're an attacker and in the queen wave. Also sara brews in wave 10 are very good to have. And if everyone in your team wears rings of recoil, the queen usually gets down to about half hp due to that :XD:
