Hendrix is the guitarrist, of course. We aren't that stupid. Each period has it's idols. Will you say Mozart sucks just because his style got old fashioned? Hendrix could make the sound of people talking with his guitar. I'm not saying Satch can't, I don't know, but he did those things in the 60's. He was revolutionary, and if he hadn't been there, problably your badboys would much likely play something else. Anyway, I'm not an expert, so I can't say who's better, technically. Therefore I put all those guys in the same level, and then there are the legends, such as Hendrix.
  3. How big you think Kim Il-Jong's plasma screen is?

    Hmmmm...
  5. I just finished watching Munich (2005), I'm still stunished, what a great movie. Has anybody noticed that when the last scene ends and Avner walks away, the World Trade Center towers appear on the background? I'm pretty sure those were the WTC towers, I even zoomed it.
  6. It's LP's turn to draw his cover, Woopido. :|
  7. IMHO, the best protection against a nuclear war is the fear of the nuclear war. A country that bombards any other country with nukes is quickly obliterated, period.
  8. I see minor conflicts happening over water, but not a World War.
  9. Very cool idea, indeed :) *starts thinking of covers he could draw*
  10. Hohto, can you link me to the boards where the NK pictures have been posted? I remember there was quite an interesting picture of a shoe fixing sign there :P Thanks Duke_Freedom: When the problem is really serious, or when it doesn't matter at all, UN will take a position and do something. Of course they can't do anything when there's nothing to be done (Iraq, anyone?). Your post is just the impression the republicans want to give about the UN, then they get people's approval when they need to ignore the UN and go on war with a random country without any proofs.

"the Force FX Lightsaber is guaranteed to bring out the Jedi in anyone" Gotta love the color names too  Are we talking about US dollars or Australian dollars? With US dollars you'd be able to buy an iPod, but I'm not sure if with Australian dollars you'd be able to.
  12. That place is nice, I got a wrong impression of it from the movie Eurotrip. There they put it as some sort of abandoned-sovietic-gray place.
  13. Capitals when required, as in: Little Doug went to school and said: "I want my money back".
  14. Maaaaaaaaaan... Is that why you've quit using capitals?
  15. Mad's a girl, as far as I know. :P
  16. They were not evil. They were different.
  17. Psh, Ferrari laptops? Ferrari Enzo. \
  18. Where I live there haven't been anything like racial riots in a very long time, but of course job discrimination still happens, and that's the kind of discrimination that, in my opinion, can be solved by the change of mentality I explained. Political correctness is usually ridiculous, I'd even say it's a new form of prejudice.
  19. True, but there are equally racial acts like this going on today. At least, there are where I live. What acts? I can't think of any.
  20. Aww Realist, I wanted to look like a right wing eagle. :(
  21. Nowdays, prejudice isn't expressed as it was, let's say, 50 years ago. There's no longer physical violence and the authorithies are now, supposedly, against prejudice/racism. Today, it's much more psycological, and, as a psycological agression, you can train your mind to "ignore" it, or make it less painfull. Of course you still won't have as many opportunities as you would if you weren't a victim of prejudice, but it won't feel so bad for you. With time, and with that kind of attittude prejudice will slowly disappear. Of course it's not easy, that's why the prejudice problem is still unsolved, on this I agree partially with you: of course you will still suffer, but you can suffer less. You would suffer if you got angry every time you were victim of prejudice, if you ignore it, you may suffer less. Your example blows my point, because it's an example of what would happen 50 years ago: you can't ignore the KKK chasing you, but you can try to ignore a shop keeper that thinks you are a criminal.
  22. Will you mail me one? Pming you my adress :P
  23. Seriously? Aren't girl meant to have like 254 pairs of shoes and a matching hangbag for each? Lol. I don't even carry handbags. Guess I'm a weird girl. Dude! You fart, you take 5 mins to dress up and you have one pair of shoes?
