About Me [hide=]Im 19 years old, I started playing runescape in winter of 03. I played in classic until RS2 came out and have played off and on since then. I honestly diden't play much until 08 when i joined a clan called Aus Elite's, was kinda ironic as i live in the USA and was one of there only members not from Australia. That lasted around 3-4 months and all i really did was Godwars, was fun but the timezone difference eventually made me quit. After that i decided to join TSA and have been a member since then. I also joined The Slayer's Guild in January. My hobbies outside of rune are computers, games, guns, and reading. In real life i work full time and during the week i dont get much free time, but im on a lot on the weekends. I dont think there should be a more powerful weapon then a godsword. It is the only weapon that is supposed to be able to kill a god. What i think they need to do is add more weapons that specialize in certain things. They could make high level weapons that are only good at killing demons or dragons but on these monsters they kill faster then anything else. Say they made a dragonslayer sword that gives a 10% att and str bonus when facing dragons but when used with a dragonfire shield the bonus is doubled and you get a 20% bonus. Make that stack with the dragon slayer gloves and a slayer helm you could just decimate dragons. This would obviously be a very rare item. (addy & rune dragons anyone) Also what if they made weapons that lowered other stats at the cost of more damage. Say they made a berserker axe that when used lowered your defense by 30% but you hit 25% harder and could not be used with prayer. Anyways you get they idea... they need to start making items that have a more limited use but nothing can beat in the right situation.

I use bandos and love it... Few things, to me the cost dont bother me but i guess that depends whats in your bank. Its not somthing you should spend all your money on. If you can't afford anything after you buy it then stick with barrows. Also, i do a ton of slayer and yes the repairs wont ever add up to the cost of bandos but its still nice to never worry about it. I do tons of gwd trips. The range defense there really dose help a ton when you use a godsword and have no shield.

Yea, never thought i would have a gs either. I own a sgs and love it, works great of slayer and almost any boss hunt. Btw da, bandos was fun the other day. Didn't know you posted here. We got a pl8 right? Bandos has been a blur lately... Too many drops. :thumbsup:

Well... i honestly never thought id see one, anyways i sold it for 24M on the ge... Going to buy some range gear and put some into skills.

So i wake up today... get online and decided im going to do my iron dragon task. This shows up... Then no more then 10 dragons later i got a dragon skirt lol... Anyways... bit of back story, i tried everything to get one when they first came out... killed 1K or irons and steels and around 1k black dragons. Said the hell with it and moved on. I know some people have killed way more but i still have killed a ton of dragons. Overall im very happy! Not sure if im going to keep or sell it yet... If a smith wants to smith it for me post here.

Yea... really the swords are all the same your just paying for the spec and the hilt look... But sgs is the only sword that directly helps its user so i find it to be nice. :

Gonna give this a shot now as i got irons for a task... Will edit this when im done ( = EDIT: Works great... i did my task (38 irons) with no food and 1 sip of prayer potion. Think i could have done it with no ppot at all but i left piety on at one point by accident. Only have a few issues with this method. 1: if there anyone else in the front killing irons it tends to be a pain as you have to wait for irons to spawn. 2: i hated trying to juggle my inventory to switch between the sgs and the whip/antifire-shield. Got better after i used a few pots. 3: im training defense atm and i kept forgetting to switch my sgs to defense as it goes to crush when you switch from a whip. Not that i care if i get str exp for a few specs but the crush options not as accurate. Otherwise i will use this again in the future. Basically costs nothing to do after you get the hang of it. If i had a dfs im sure i could do better but not on my agenda atm. Also i used bandos pl8 and tassy as i dont have veracs, im sure veracs would work better for this.

Na, i agree.. 99 str is a common 99 now a days and not the hardest thing to get, theres like 46k 99 str capes now. Just happy about my second 99.

Well... the swords worth the trouble as it makes those tasks fast and fun imo. I got one in my first 15 turoth kills and haven't got one since. I did 160+ kurasks last night and got 2 mystic tops and 2 rune longs but no sword so im not sure what to think on there rarity.

Cooking, Fming, And i hear thieving is fast but i really dont know.

I dont care what anyone else says about runescape, its fun for me. Only game im really looking forward too atm is diablo 3 and that wont be out for awhile. If you dont enjoy it then dont play it, nothing you can do about what jagex dose. Either adapt or move on, 8 years playing any game is a good run. Hope you find something else you enjoy.

Recently got my sgs back and full bandos armour (besides boots). Was very happy with myself... cost me around 100M and its the setup iv wanted forever. Problem is im getting flamed and nagged like crazy just for having a sgs... Not item lenders either, im getting called a noob or asked when im going to upgrade to a ags by random people. its like they care what i do with my money. To be fair i have tired every godsword at one point and time besides zgs. Ags was fun, but it has little use for somone who slays and dont pk. I could care less about ags hits anyways... im already hitting constant 50s with slayer helm and pots on tasks. Why would i care to hit 20 more for the extra 18M? Also, why do some godwars teams not take sgs's? I got kicked because i said i had a sgs and they basically blew me off. It wasen't a ags only team either.... Just seems theres a negative mentality on the sgs as there are other ways to heal.... sure guthans works fine, but thats not somthing id take to kq or zammy anyways. If i was to make that argument i could say dh hits as hard as a ags... except you got to have low hp. I look at the godswords specs as a convince, sure that dh or guthans will do the same thing, but you got to switch with guthans and it gets messy with dh unless your careful. Sgs and bunyip will keep you at full health at about any place in the game besides bosses and a few exceptions. Why do so many people seem to hate it? Its so misunderstood its ridiculous. As for the fact that sgs is droping, why would i care? I bought my sgs as i thought it was worth what i paid. I plan to keep it unless my plans drastically change otherwise. People seem to forget that all gwd items are going to drop alot yet, its all fairly new. A guy at barrows told me sgs was going to be stable for months at its current price. Why would it be? Theres tons coming into the game everyday. I know this rants really quite dumb but i had to blow off my steam. My overall point is you can like your ags all you want... just dont push your opinions on me.
