So.. Forsberg888 is about to overtake Paperbag for rank 9, and I'd expect Geel to overtake Elvis for rank 7 soon aswell. Movement in the top 10 - yay!

I run into roger al often at the abyss - ill try and ask him.

He finished maging/defence (not sure which) in abyss as he ran out of cannonballs and didn't want to pay current prices for them to train. Anyhow, 2b beats my bank by .. alot.

Buddhism is the first player in the top 100 to surpass 100 million exp in 2014. (Juggo at 86m, forsberg888 at 65m, roger al at 48m). Buddhism and Juggo have been summoning for those gains, Forsberg has mostly been training strength and firemaking. Roger Al is in the abyss training on walkers.

Summoning with yaks comes to about 7 gp/xp doing taverly method. Prayer is at least 20 gp/xp. Id go with prayer, out of those two... (despite me eventually going for 200m summon - at 106m now)

Ive had exp lamps since... Or I must really be mistaken. The prismatic lamp however was a prismatic fallen star, but the skill specifics were probably still lamps.

Just my two cents: I've been using my notepaper to bank abyssal charms. They drop faster then I can yak bank them, and they are about 3.5k profit a charm...

Well.. this was bound to happen. Bing started summoning, possibly to be on top of the list :)

Just for reference, I put the current top 100 in a year long tracker to see progress over 2014: http://runetrack.com/competitions/competition_tracker.php?id=19249 83 of them have gained exp already at the time of this post.

Given I don't care for emotes, titles or the hybrid gear (have the one from BoL), are the abilities worth getting? Or should I just cash in on exps? I could be mistaken but at first glance the priciest of the 3 abilities seems the least useful one. Or am I missing an obvious use for it?

Forsberg888 is now up 2008m exp over 2013 - so that's breaking the 2-billion-exp-in-one-year barrier. At new years, we should make a list of people's exp gains ove 2013.

Assuming one goes for 200m all, yes. I'd like to eventually get 200m summon, but it's unlikely I'll get 200m slayer... May end up being relevant for me. However, given crimsons and making yaks is now like 4,5 gp/xp crimsons are both faster and cheaper.. if you have enough of them.

Well - the upside to 'doing the taverly method' is now you end up with pouches in noted form you can go swap for higher shard return, so the cost/xp is down. I used to scroll my pouches rather then selling them - so the previous adjustment to the buy/sell process didn't affect it much. In comparison, for me the exp rate will be similar (5500-600 pouches an hour) BUT shard return increases from 50 to 70%, which means my shard cost goes down by 28,6%... Which means the 78k green charm stack may finally be turned into fruit bats afterall, given the overall cost of doing fruit bats with taverly method went down with 650gp a pouch... which is 50.7m gp saved. I don't really see why this is all that bad...

He's referering to the use of AHK scripts (and similar). You can set it so a keypress clicks on a set spot on your screen, without that involving you manually using the mouse to make the move. Using such scripts you can be faster then having to move the mouse manually. Mousekeys allow the first type of his comment (replace mouseclick by keystroke) but scripts replacing the mousemove action will not be tolerated. As far as I can tell that's different from the old guidelines (1 input = 1 action, but that would imply you could use two keys for a mousemove + mouseclick)

Wondering how 'significant' the increase in sirenic scale drops is. Also wondering what the hell they mean with the neem oil thing for ganodermic beasts.

You could spend 5 minutes figuring out how to clone it with the interface - It may even be one of the presets you can change to.

If you don't see why you need to lure them - you're used to walking into worlds with them lured already.

Also, it's better profit selling the orbs then using them for battlestaves, especially with orb prices this high.

As for the argument on page two about degrading based on hits taken: the Aegis aura deactivates after a certain amount of damage has been avoided, so the mechanic could be in game....

Can only do it at banks - the post said. Last I checked, DG doesn't have a banker in the floors. That said - not a fan of this planned update. Also: You can reset at 99. That means someone with 13m exp that bothers to reset ranks ABOVE someone with 200m that finds this nonsense and wants to keep his exp showing.

It was an addressed problem that never got fixed. Your best bet is to watch the tempo of the fading cursor. Yay, and if that's off (there's no reference for comparison) I can sit through a 5 minute cutscene all over again? If it was a known issue it'd have been common sense to fix it along with Daemonheim task release... Given it's the only task I need I may just get 98 diviniation first and then try and suffer through it.
