Judging by the new banner, what i concieve from it is that Lucien, has somehow gotten his hands on the stone of jas, and he plans to combine it with the staff of armadyl using the dragon kilns to create an unimaginably strong weapon so that he could do whatever he was trying to do (not too good with the lucien story line). You could choose to help him or stop him but i think at the end, the armadyl worriros will convice you to stop him (no matter which side you choose) and you will need to somehow stop him using you skills. I have a strong feeling this quest will need a high agility level :wall: Thats what i think might be happening...feel free to say so otherwise and give your idea :

Well, first thing i see looking at your sig is that your "F2P ATM", therefore you can't even do slayer ;) Back on topic: a good outfit for you would be: Black mask (any slayer should seriously have one), Dragon Skirt (exact same as dragon legs, lighter, and manlier. If you want just stick to rune legs), For amulet trying buying a glory amulet, and a combat bracelet so you can keep count of your task without waisting an inventory space (also a good bonus) Rune plate/rockshell plate (now, some people might argue with me but personally i would buy rockshell. why? just because it looks much better imo. i'm pretty sure its same defences as rune plate, and around same price), Dragon boots/rune boots (if you want to have some money left over, stick to rune boots. pretty much the same thing just looks a bit less cool. stick to rune, and after making a bit of money upgrade to dragon), for cape don't buy an obby cape, stick to legends (probably arent doen it) or even the mage arena capes( its as simple as it gets. its a big waist, and unless you have extra money and can't think of what to do with it, dont' buy it), for sure get a rune defender for your primary shield, and for tasks that you need a bit higher defence, granite shield or even rune shield has never let me down. Now, for weapons, i would suggest buying a dragon scimmy, and if you have some cash left over buy a dragon dagger super poison for the special attack. Aslo another thing, for a ring, i always wear a ring of life (at 112 combat and 85 defence) you never nkow when you can lag and die losing alot of your hard earned armour. Ring of wealth is overrated imo but if you feel comfortable with it, go ahead and use it : For food while slaying, try and fish your own lobsters and cook them yourself for maximum profit. Don't forget, do the quest: Smoking kills, as soon as possible otherwise you are waisting some potential profit (from exhcanging points for slayer darts...etc) I hope i helped you in some way, and good luck slaying...its really addicting and i love it :

well, right now, this very instant, on runescape my character is on wave 36 of the fight caves (second try) and i got bored so i decided to log out and chill a bit before heading back. First thing i decided to do once i get the fire cape (i will try enough times till i get it, i have supplies for about 4-5 more tries) is get 80 magic to aid me on my slayer missions. Now, ive tried the power-humidify method (if you dont' know about it, don't worry about it ;) ) and its really fast, but hell, it strains the wrists and it gets soooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring... ive also tried alching, and i wouldn't mind alching but...yea...lol its alching you know what i mean. so my main question is, is there any mage training method that won't make me broke (willing to spend/lose 1-1.5mil) or might even make me a bit of profit that is well, lets just frankly put it, not boring? (im willing to alch up the 3 lvls if there are no other options) also if you suggest alchemy can you please also suggest what item to alch? i would greatly apreciate it : Thanks in advance, all constructive comments greatly apreciated :thumbsup:

I had the same problem, and i couldn't type. but when i closed the internet, restarted the comp it worked... :? then i remember the second time i pressed ctrl or something on the keyboard and it worked again :wall: i remember having the same problem, but sorry i can't remember the remedy :ugeek:

As im stuck with a similar dilema, i looked into it, and i found out (as i understood) that jagex nerfed the blackjack/pickpocket tecnique so that it is much slower xp. i did from 51-59 through pyramid plunder/quest rewards and i plan on getting 65 the same way. good luck to you and i suggest pyramid plunder. p.s im 59 thieving too thats why im stuck with a similar dilema ;)

The acount i currently play on is my second acount. My first acount (hitman76--look at my tip.it name ;) ) was made in 2003? (i made it the year santas were realeased because i had remember getting a santa hat) it got hacked about 1 year ago, and thats when i took a little break and came back with ambrose273 (current acount). i miss hitman though :(

Thats exactly what im trying to say (but not so extreme lol). All you peopel that are shouting: "you noob, you have no honour for pking" or "omg what a noob he teleported"...ALL OF YOU without any exeptions will for sure try and save yourself if you were caught in that situation. if not, you are an idiot, im sorry. No matter how much honour i have for a pixelated fight, i will always try and save my pixelated character from losing items i have worked many hours (or even minutes) to obtain. its common sense. even in real life, imagine fighting someone twice your size, would you stick to the fight and honour the fight or save your sorry [wagon] and run away so you could stay alive without any (or atleast not alot) of broken bones? i couldn't agree more with Ixindor in the post his rant post couple of posts above mine. why are people never satisfied with what their given? :? EDIT: Are you kidding me? Why not bring my best armour, and fight until i can no longer hold myself, then teleport. what the hell, jagex gave me that option why not use it? :wall: And no it doesn't, if it was wrong, jagex wouldn't have implimented that into the game :?

With the 7 second rule implied, why not just take teleblock out of the spellbook? if the person you are attacking is low on hp, and without food (the main reason for teleporting) im 100% sure you will be able to k.o him/her within the 7 seconds. 7 seconds is like 3 hits with a whip or 3 dds specs... As many people before me have stated, instead of whining about the teleport system why not train your mage up so you don't splash more often? or why not train your stats up so you can easily k.o the person without them even having time to teleport? i will be completly honest with you, i hate it when you spend arrows, food, and potions on a guy, and at the end of the fight, you see them just teleport away...but thats a right that they have. its like people in the old wildy (new pvp worlds as well) saying "OMG YOU ARE A PRAYER NOOB, YOU NOOB TURN OF YOUR PRAYER YOU ******* NOOB!!!!!" well, first of all, your the noob thats not using prayer. if you werent supposed to use prayer then why in gods name would there be a tab right next to your magic book, with a prayer symbol on it? why would we have protection and enhancment prayers? think about it, you have a right to use what is provided for you by jagex (prayers, teleports, good food, etc...) and i will bet you (this is a bet im positive i will not lose unlike mr.icantankfor7seconds) that even you whiners teleport when your low on hp/food. and if you say otherwise, i will take it as a bunch of BULL...no joke. no matter how much respect and honour you have for pking, you haev to be an idiot to just watch yourself die with 2mil+ worth of armour... :wall:
