That skill menu actually looks pretty good, the hover may be a tad hard to read at times though. But wasn't the point of adding the scrollbar in the first place to make it so that it was easily possible to add new lines to it? And can people explain why Sailing -will- be the next skill? Well, i'm not one to start threads but I was signing up my grandfather to Folding at Home and wondering how many other people had heard about or used This application. For those who don't know, Folding at home is a program that runs in the background of your computer, it is a distrobution project which sends out 'work units' to individuals which the computer does using it's spare processors. These are then sent back and combined together, esentially making a network of computers that are far greater then the Worlds' best supercomputer. The main question comes from a search I did of the teams that they have, a search for 'runescape' left around 8 results, 6 being two man teams and the only major one being Runescape Village. Unless Tipit has some other name (nothing came from 'tip' search). Just wondering if anyone else knows of a team or anything. (don't know how to finish this off so this is it)

:pray: :pray: :pray: turn world 111 back to a normal world. Apart from that, I think that the only reason pking is dying so fast is the uproar in the prices of supplies, once pkers stob buying lobsters/other pking equipment it will start to rise again. Until then i'm hoping 111 gets reverted.

How on earth do you kill someone with a half decent loot when you've got d hide and a rune scim? The only way to have a good chance at killing someone with good loot is to wear good stuff yourself, which in turn makes you a good target for other players wearing good stuff. It's a nice system, really. You're saying you want the entire standard lowered, where every pker is running around in d hide with a scim. I think that's pretty ridiculous, why should the entire standard be lowered because some players don't want to risk their precious items? I get really annoyed at these 1/3/4 itemers. 3 and 4 aren't that bad because they will never skull on you, so you'd have to attack them to get in a fight. Anyone with a brain would realize it's stupid to attack a 3 itemer unless you feel like getting an easy kill. It's the 1 itemers who are annoying because they can and will skull. I wish protect items prayer was just gone, it's simply being abused by players who don't want to take any risks. The people who one item (myself included) generally do it because we are unexperienced in Player verse Player combat. I myself have never been taught on the small things that you people use and have an advantage over us with, and until then I don't feel like spending money on armours and foods to find out how to do this. One-4 itemers are generally experimenting with a new technique. I bet you didn't know the best way to do everything the very first time you tried it (unless you read up about it, which is what most of the people don't do, and most of the pkers don't share). Also despite this being a f2p thread many have referenced to p2p features, so if you are fighting a one itemer use smite to make them scared and make mistakes.

Although after everyone is happy with 1big1small/1big2small per month then they go into one massive update (incorperating all three) a month, then 'patching' 2 months worth of updates every two months. I liked when it was still a surprise what we would be getting each month.

Wow, I actually remember quite a few of those (especially the first one) now that i've seen it again. ...and to everyone saying that 'everything was better back then' and 'everyone was nicer' you may be right, but from what I remember it was still the same cabbage fight as it is today, it's just that everyone wasn't running around in their 70+ weapons and armours. You just didn't notice that it was like this as you were still running on the 'e-dreneline' of discovering the new lands.

I'll help out, I'll do some tests on paladins (if i can get them at 65 theiving) with full rune and with nothing on. I'll get back with the results tomorrow if i have enough time to get on and do it. This looks promising.

I really don't see how it isn't, I mean you practically addressed the thing youself. All he is doing is offering advice - a tip for others which may not know about (even to this day I see people complainig at the ge there should be a withdraw items function).

For once it's nice to see an online gaming site that doesn't completly ignor (or belittle) Runescape. Although it says the site istn't fully up and is still broken it's looking wonderful. nice work biggie (jake?) =D>

You do have lunar mages who can transfer spec + hp to other characters as well as share potions ~Dan I was going to mention this but i forgot to add it: While the Lunar mage spells are supportive in a sense they aren't really AS 100% support role, they are mainly mixed with a form of damage output. What I meant was a pure 'healing' character whose sole purpose within the group is to help the others out (spam heal if you may). The main difference between the two is that other games have a for of magic casting that regens over time, so really it costs nothing to heal you teammates (it also has no negative effect on the caster) Although I really would like a tougher team based Fight caves.

The problem is that RuneScape doesn't have the same 'class' system as other online games. In RS there is no true 'support class' which is common in other MMORPG's (MapleStories Cleric's for example). These instances which you want RS to emulate would cripple and fall within the game as they generally rely heavily on one class (healer) supporting and buffing the others (Damagers(generally the warrior Class)) with Longer ranged players whittling down hp from a distance. Although i'm an avid fan of the team based 'PvE' environments and a true support class person (healing, temperory buffing and the like) it just won't work within the game.

okay this is way off topic but you seriously dont understand how the world works, that is how it always is, and this may sound racist but i am from waukegan il. (look up the demographics if you want) and the highschool is minority white, it used to be majority white. then the african-americans and hispanics started complaining so more and more stuff was made to suit them, while the majority only lost, now my school is like 50% esl(cant speak good english basicly) so yea and now when white people try to speak up to get better stuff for us and the rest of the school we are pushed aside as we are still seen as "majority" even though we are not. ot: i just want my freaking ginormous quest already Reading this made me scared. Sorry for the preplexomg question though the main concern was escaping from the law alter, or somehow keeping the orb while still being able to stay on the island. If anyone remembers how they got through this part of the quest could they tell me?

hello, well, actually it's more like what do you do with it once you get there, it says to use the pouch on the alter, does this mean the law alter, because as soon as I leave i get kicked out. I know i'm using a guide, although i can finally finish this quest after several years after starting. :wall:
