1. Yeah because damaging someones constitution stat's but not linking it to lifepoints is such a great idea. I don't like how Jagex are catering to the newer players aswell but I can see some good items coming in the future. Such as a potion like they suggested that restricts your opponents to only a certain HP, ie you lower their constitution to 40 and they only have 40 HP to eat to, leaving for easier KO's, maybe soon we may have NPC's similar to Reverants which can eat food and interact exactly like a player, however better AI then the current stuff
2. Personally I think they're talking about the opportunity cost of spending the time on updating things. If it's around one day per song as they say, and a quest is in the works with 3 new songs, that's half a week delay to the release of the quest that has to be occured to update the already ingame content. However, if there is no new work to be done, then it's perfectly fine to redo old content (as they say they do currently) (Both these problems are easily solved with more staff though  )

To be honest, if this game resets i'm just going to give up, Already starting to get bored as it is, turning into too many others like it. and yes, the names are so original <_<
4. It depends on which soldiers they attack you with and how many, as to how much they steal. EX1 A village is attacked with 1000 halberdiers, each with a load of 120, assuming there are no defences in the target village and no warehouses then the attackers will take all of your resources in an equal amount* until either one thing happens: a ) the village runs out of that resource b ) the attackers fill their 120000 resource quota (1000*120) *This isn't exact, some village seem to have a 3:3:1:1 ratio between resources, but I can't figure out why yet. EX2 A village is attacked with 300 swordsmen, these have a load of 30, now in this village there are still no defences but it contains a warehouse, which can hold 40000 total resources - split evenly. Now, this player was on recently and had spent most of their resources on their village, and were left with say: 12536, 9001, 1337 and 24567 of each respectively. In this raid you will take 2536 food and 6464 Copper as both Wood and Stone are protected by the warehouse and once aformentioned food is stolen it too is protected. (The game essentially subtracts warehouse protection from the 'stealable resources' variable and then uses this to calculate loot) Obviously if the village has troops then your troops left after battle will determine load. If you need any of it explained better you can ask. Also, whenever I'm in battle with my archers and swordsmen, why does the second legend not switch in when I select it in the first turn? The archers will fire their free shot, it will go to turn 2, then fire again, turn 3, then switch. Resulting in a loss of hundreds of archers - is anyone else experiencing it or only me?
5. Box of Bliss, Treasure boxes, Raiding and somewhat Exploring/Searching (very rare from the last), raiding is probably the most common.
6. Having a high leveled stable in your main city will give you the ability to transfer resources between your cities (and between allience cities at a high enough rank) for free at a transport time of 2:00 per square. This will give you the ability to send resources over to your second city in the thousands and help build it up. I'd reccommend building enough villages to get your Gold in the clear (the legend you sent to fortify the city will require pay from the new city) and then focus on some basic resources - into the 1000's atleast. Once that is done it's fair game I suppose, Good Luck.
7. I upgraded my spy base to lvl 2 but one still got killed. Next upgrade says success rate is 110%, hmm... <_< Watchtowers lower the chances of Spying, starting by 20%+(10%*Level), when your spied against. I believe that Wildlands too have this ability but it's 10% per wildland level, although that is only speculation. As for the Labour Bill Discussion - That will be the only Item that I will buy from their shop, it's agonisingly painful not being able to do 5 at once.
8. That's what the Load is for, Swordsmen have a Load of 30, you had 36 remaining which give you a total of 1080 Load to carry Box Of Bliss Bronze Urn - 1 Box of Bliss Letters (one hour skill reduction) - 1 Also, 500 and 1000 resource from the respective wildland is the max amount you can get from levels 0 and 1 respectively
9. I must have started on the right day or something, because I've yet to see a reset of my village to this point. And a hint to those waiting on resources: The time it will take to get a certain amount of a single resource can be calculated as follows. (60/income per hour)*resources needed. This is given in minutes. For example, you have 89 stone and get 767 an hour, if you need 1000 it will take 71 minutes and 15 seconds
10. To be honest, without the glowing eyes anymore it can be quite a scare. I was playing late last night and I once or twice my heart jumped when I turned a corner. It definately invigorated some new life into the game, I would try to complete the game this time, what with all the weapons that you get to keep, but I know I'll still fail <_<
11. Actually you can't use overloads in PvP, so the hidden cb lvls have no real advantage. That's their point. Prayer effects combat level, therefore it is allowed in PvP, herblore doesn't effect your combat level, therefore there is no way to gauge ones combat prowress if you gain an extra ~7 levels (over what one would get in super potions) and it doesn't show on your combat level. Now for the argument that supers are still usable and don't effect combat, they are tradable and hence can be obtained by anyone that is willing enough to use them. And on another thought I wish jagex would update their twitter so the topic can go back on track
12. I'm resigning and hence PBPProductions wins our bracket.
13. Where is that? Seems to be the first floor (2nd floor) of the new Darynor Mansion
14. I'm really warming up to this game, everyone in the lobby at time of posting is flaming it and saying it's a horrible game but I like it. I also lose connection for about 1 second, especially in Sudden Death when changing phases, and also when the game ends, but luckly everything is kept and intact. Hope to see a bugfix soon.
15. Forum Name: Anonymouse FunOrb Name: Anonymous184 F2P/P2P: FTP I have read the rules and accept them with no argument: Sure -Scrolls and reads rules- I agree with those As a side note I'm in AEST or GMT+10, so times may be hard <_< (actually on second inspsection of those that have signed up already it looks like I won't be having to get up at 3am)
16. I'm sorry, but i've never been able to understand the mentallity behind this statement. People are perfectly able to mindlessly watch a television program, or troll MySpace/Facebook/Forums, but it is so very hard and life consuming to spend 6 minutes to log onto a game and complete one single raid (as i'm typing this i've just timed myself for a raid, from opening the browser window, logging on, raiding and then closing the game - Total Time 1:22.2). This is less then HALF the time for a SINGLE television ad-break. Secondly it's not even that often, you only have to do it twice per calander week, personally I raid once Wednesday afternoon and once on Sunday Night. You don't even have to do that even, once every Six days is adequate if you're able to remember to log on and not lose your streak. Also, you don't even have to win the raid. You can just scroll to a random person, choose your raiders, click on one of the entrances and then exit. This would drastically reduce the above time which doesn't use this method. Although if you are actually going to use this method then make sure that it counted by checking the achievement in the achievements page. All in all, what i'm trying to say is there there is A LOT of other things that is much more of a 'waste' of time on the internet. [/rant]
17. Well FTP3 is still scheduled this month I think, last year the Xmas event was released on the 16th, so around that timeframe I guess (we could get 2 updates next week) Judging upon the Card cut off of the 18th, which is a week before Christmas (Traditionally events have been one week before, one week after.) I think it may come out on the 18th, although this leaves us with a Friday update, which is generally unlikely.
18. Surprisingly companies don't stock as much XXXLarge clothing due to the lack of a proper market in this size range, hence any stock that they would have runs out quickly. but otherwise: LOLOLOLOLOLOL Runescapers are fat. <_<
19. Adding "/page__st__XXX" Where X is the post number at the end of the URL will make it skip straight to a certain post (defult of 20 Posts per page[New page starts on 20,40...]) And the Code: Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and to see you in a tournament for a game I can play.
20. I'll go scan through my harddrives and find last years christmas card, badly edit out the Jagex/Runescape Logo and resubmit it to Jagex  But seriously, good luck to all the artists out there, there are sure to be some amazing images to come. EDIT: Just a couple of minutes after posting I found this in my Tinypic account: Christmas '08 cards Jagex made If I send it in do you think they'll know? :-#
21. It was a truly missed oppertunity not to have a secondary game when the device is flipped to its side. You could have had the size of the normal game shrunken down, and kept in the same dimensions, to fit into there with blank space on the left and right for Touch movement. Although as it stands it is a great port, it even made me bother to make an account for the store. Although, its definately not as hard as the original. According to Jagex the lag would make it unplayable due to the games need for quick reactions
22. So, now that we are 25% of the way through who is still in the running for getting Dungeon Assult's Creature of Habit Achievement by September Next Year? (This idea sounded much larger in my head) Also, I suppose, discuss any tips, stories or progress that you would like to share.
23. Anyone got any tips for the following missions: Slayer Tower The Crossing of the Salve Mort Myre Swamp South Swamp Port Phasmatys. I currently have the following bonuses: Units: Warewolf Skeleton Necromancer Ranger Black Knight Bonuses: Waders 2x +5% Mana Boosts
24. A glorious day for Zamorak! Today we bring you an update weve been talking about for quite some time; the first single-player campaign for Armies of Gielinor is now available. Lead the Zamorakian horde after the god returns to Runescape, and battle the forces of Saradomin and other armies in order to conquer Hallowvale. The update features a map-driven, dynamic campaign, allowing you to complete it in any number of ways. Each mission rewards you with a different upgrade, providing trinkets, additional unit types to summon, or a mana boost that you can use in other battles. This campaign is available to free players and members alike, and there are six Achievements for you to collect. Each mission can be played multiple times even if already completed, allowing you to perfect your skills and get a position in the Highscore tables! By the way, your progress in an ongoing mission is saved automatically, even if you log out. So head on over to Armies of Gielinor and ready your army for battle. Hallowvale will burn!
