What do you mean? My age or the game's? The game's age. Back when it was released it easily had one of the most innovative combat systems to date. And really even today I still really enjoy the combat. It's simple but there is a lot of depth to it with the double and triple attacks I think.

A l4D film would just be a zombie movie. I don't think valve's way of telling the story works for film anyways.

Just finished Mass Effect. I do have a question though. [hide=spoilers]A lot of people made a big deal out of Shepard dying, I know that a lot were shocked when the ME2 trailer came out. Anyways I never actually saw anything that would hint at him dying, what exactly happened? I had the ending where the council died, and at the end Shepard just walked off and then the final shot was the Normandy flying. Was there something I missed? I sat through the entire credits as well, haha.[/hide] Good game though. Looking forward to the sequel now.

Eh, whatever. GIMP is better. Hell I used PSP8 (they only have gone up to 9 now?) 8 years ago and even then Photoshop 5 was better than it.

Well now you made it worse than it was before by blurring the edges. You need to find a way to make it work with old school sprites, and what you have isn't it.

uhh, I don't think so. Was pretty standard sonic gameplay, just in 3D. The only real problem with the game is that the camera could be a major pain sometimes, but it did show that sonic can be done well in 3D.

Welcome to the World of Warcrafts in a nutshell. It's a pity the PvP is nothing more than a treadmill in the Arena :(. If you don't enjoy the idea of either rerolling characters a lot or raiding the same instance for the 20th time it's really not for you then. It's not a jab at all, it's just sort of the truth. They do put effort into Sonic, too. It's just that the games were meant to be 2D. No, they haven't put in any effort since the Dreamcast. Sonic Adventure I and II are good examples of good 3D sonic games. It can be done, the sonic team just doesn't care enough to try anymore.

No, not a good deal. Plus I would never buy a computer from Craigslist, that is just asking for trouble. He mentions an 8600GTS and 8800GT, I'm pretty sure you can't SLI those two so why did he even mention both? Still you can probably build the same thing for around the same price or cheaper and get the peace of mind of having the warranties for various components. It's a pretty poor PC these days either way.

I was close to selling my character again but prices suck [wagon] now for them. I'd probably be lucky to get $350-$400 for both my 80 warrior and 80 mage... So just going to sit on the account. :P

The only thing I don't get is what does it matter if the same mascot stays in games? Would you really think it would make a game that more enjoyable if Nintendo come up with some other random [wagon] character for a new platformer game? The Mario titles (at least the core titles) have all been different enough anyways. Just be thankful that Nintendo still cares about Mario and games with him in it unlike Sega and Sonic. Sonic should be stopped because no good games are coming out of it and it is tainting the memory of the older games (because some kid will play a recent sonic game and think it sucks and will probably never try the classics). With Mario we're getting new games that might not even be made for us but for a younger generations, which I think is a good thing. If you've "grown out" of Mario than it is fine but I think Nintendo still has enough care for the character that it should continue to do new games for new generations.

Speaking of stuff online I remember being a little creeped back in the day when me and some people during class listened to the whole "stairway to heaven backwards" thing. That was a good while ago though, haha.

Mass Effect for the PC. I've been avoiding it thus far because I heard it wasn't up to par with Bioware's other games and I really didn't want to be disappointed. So far I can say I was probably lead to believe the wrong thing, it's pretty enjoyable so far and the story is really ramping up even after just a couple of hours.

The new edit helps define it a bit AceJack but I still feel like you could do better by going over this in more detail. I'm not sure what size you painted it at though, but in the future you could probably paint it at a larger size. Do the sketching you do like in this image first and then start defining images more, like the rocks, the broken tree and the person. You can see that your ground is already starting to get defined a bit more in the recent version which is good. I just think that's the next step in doing better digi paints.

Get a 360 controller. Either wired or get the wireless adapter for the PC.

But not everyone deserves one. Acejack is miles ahead of most people in The Gallery concerning digi paintings. So either show something better or give the guy some damn respect for a true work of art. Who cares. If he didn't like it he didn't like it, get off his damn back. :)

To be honest this is more of an age thing than something that was wrong with the game. And I loved the storyline. Sure, at it's core it was pretty basic (need to stop lavos) but the way they presented it was top notch. I got chills the first time I saw the cutscene of lavos destroying the world because I knew what the consequence of that would be, due to the time travel. Once you add in a well liked cast of characters and there easily is a reason why it is a favorite. I really don't like most modern JRPG's now, they seem too generic in all honesty. FF7 is easily one of the most overrated RPG's ever made, I never could why people held it to such a high standard.

Why do you find Chrono Trigger overrated? Or, granted, what would you say is a better RPG? I mean Chrono Trigger does get a lot of praise but it is all worthy of that, easily one of the best RPG's ever made.
