A native quicktime format should work with mac's considering mac's use quicktime as their default video player. Yeah I hate mac's but pretty much he [bleep]ed up. Also instead of staying up til 4AM dude could have just burned a DVD and just used that. Had no class today. Probably have it tomorrow though as we didn't get the brunt of the snow that was supposed to come.

Luckily I have a gift card to gamestop still that I'll probably get KZ3 with. I'm going to try the RIFT PC beta next week (MMO) and if I like that i'll probably get it, otherwise I'll get MvC3. But then we got march with Portal 2 and stuff which I NEED to get.

Every now and then if I wait and try a few times I can get into one but than it drops on me. Kind of disappointing. Also I just realized MvC3 is coming out in like a week. [bleep] man I just don't have the money for all this stuff XD.

As far as old school people go on here probably a lot of the guy's you would remember are gone now I think. Rick left a few months ago, Merc hasn't posted in a long time... There's still plenty of older users around though even if the majority of us haven't played Runescape in years. Not a big change right now. [hide][/hide] Made the background gradient a little brighter, aligned text a bit and decided to keep the "contact" thing on the front page in that empty box. (because it really doesn't deserve an entire page for it). I'm pretty happy with the home page right now, wondering what people think though. If you guys are good with it than I'll probably end up working on the portfolio page next. I probably won't go too crazy with it but maybe I'll get a cool idea. If not I'll just use some sort of grid method for showing stuff. I also still want to do a logo (probably something simple involving my initials to put next to my site name). So right now it's looking like my goal is: - Finish final touches on homepage - Do and finish portfolio page - Design the blog page which will be the same style but I'm not sure how I'll do it yet. - Design my logo (Maybe before/after portfolio or blog page) - Code the homepage and portfolio and have that ready and done by midterm. - Code the blog (since I'll need to use PHP for the template. Not hard, I've done it before, but still might be tricky because its new for me) - Create business cards (might do this before coding the blog, I don't know, depends on when I start coding really. I want to get them printed a decent bit ahead of time) And for those curious of the total time worked so far: 1/29 - 7:19 to 8:11 (1hr) 1/30 - 9:50 to 10:24 (30m) 2/01 - 6:00 to 8:18 (2 1/2 hr) 2/01 - 10:50 to 11:19 (30m) 2/02 - 9:29 to 11:06 (1 1/2 hr) 2/03 - 7:18 to 8:47 (1 1/2 hr) 2/04 - 10:30 to 11:30 (1 hr) 2/05 - 7:00 to 8:23 (1 1/2 hr) 2/06 - 9:10 to 9:36 (30m) So a total of roughly 10 and a half hours so far of research and work done lol. Mostly research probably >.>

I'm curious what you actually did in a lot of them other than putting a bunch of images together. Honestly the only things I see that would be your work are the gradients and text and maybe applying layer styles to something.

What I don't get is what makes Christianity a more "believable" means of explaining the world compared to the thousands of other religions that have been around? What I don't get is that you have people, very smart people, trying to find all of these scientific reasonings behind the bible when it was written in a time when those things were not known. I just don't see what makes Christianity so different from any other religion as just like any other religion it was a means of explaining the unknown. Yes, we don't know everything. I would wager we know very little in fact. However my first thought isn't to jump to one ancient explanation of why the world is how it is. I mean essentially I think a lot of these theologists are just trying to find scientific meaning where there isn't and, quite honestly, shouldn't be. I'm an athiest mostly because I don't like this idea of trying to stand behind one religion in what seems like a 1 in a million chance. Any one of these religions "could" be right, and how could you prove them wrong? I would much prefer it if people stopped worshiping what they think is there and focus on what is here and on finding what is out there. I think that being so hard-fast on an answer that must be true (in this case: a Christian god) isn't the way to really go about things. So yeah, I just think the idea of Religion is outdated. Also I wanted to say that these debates on the forums (or should I say "debates") are ridiculous. It's nothing but two parties trying to come up with the most off-the-wall metaphor to explain why their side is correct. In the end you guys are arguing about some things that we don't know for certain.

Sadly I'll probably end up buying it when it comes out. At least they are doing 64 player servers for PC again...

My gateway FX laptop has lasted me 2 1/2 - 3 years or so so far. If you're any decent with computers at all you'll know how to get rid of the 'bloated crap'.

The sub that engineers get is really good. Was getting double and triple kills all over the place lol.

Heh. I've been playing a bit, mostly as Engineer. Got the Turret upgraded all the way and it can actually get some solo kills now by its self.

Kind of am yeah. Right now the bg is a real simple radial gradient, not sure if I'll do anything different.

I'm just not entirely sure how I'd layout just one box of text without it looking too empty.
