I'm guessing he just blocked it through your hosts file. Go to WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and open it up in notepad. See if anything related to runescape.com is added in there and, if it is, delete it and save the file.

You'll live. Just use the epic land mount if anything. Either way you probably will not have enough for an epic mount along with cold weather flying, especially since you still need to spend 900g on the normal flying mount. Just leveling though and mining I have over 2100g, cold wind flying (1000g) and my flying mount (1000g) and I've auction whored quite a lot.

I figured you could, but I was just being on the safe side. Me and ultima actually came up with a PC for $400 that would be capable of playing stuff like source games on high details. The hardware is really cheap, and is getting cheaper while graphics in games aren't moving a whole lot.

And as I said before, you are an [wagon] in other people's topics when it comes to criticism. And anyways I told you what to do to be better. This piece is un-salvageable, no minor or major change is going to help it. That is why I said to start with the basics of art, because no matter how abstract something is you aren't going to get anywhere without them. Sure, people could help you and tell you where to place all of these pixels, but then what? The piece is no longer your creation but the creation of the Gallery. I want you to learn the basics, not as an insult (A lot of users, even experienced users in this regard, could deal to learn more of art theory. Hell, I went on for 7 years before honestly and truly learning the theory behind design and art. I'd like to think that if I had learned it earlier I could have avoided a lot of mistakes I made over those years) but as an honest to god piece of help, because I want everyone in the Gallery to get better. However, I want them to think for themselves. I don't want to say "move X there, move Y there, make it Z color and H height W width" I want you, as an artist, to figure out for yourself what is best. Sorry Pat, but you don't know the basics. You don't know the basics of Focal points, balance, color theory, typography and so on. All you did was slap on a bunch of awesome brushes you took onto a canvas and then slapped on some text and a picture of a crown you, surprise, also took. So not only is none of this really your "own work" but it's poorly done as well. You've been an [wagon] in numerous topics Pat because you somehow think you have this superiority over some other artists. At least they know some of the basics. They have a decent eye for a focal point, for leading to a focal point and they can kind of tell when their signature or piece of art is off balanced. You don't need to throw a hissy fit because someone told you something that was correct, instead of mindlessly praising it or giving you some half assed CC which won't even matter or you will just shrug off. Take, for example, yaff's comment. You just shrugged it off because, no doubt, you and your "customer" (an average runescape player) certainly know best in this situation. So I reiterate, learn the basics pat. Look online and read up about Design theory, about color theory. You can know all the coolest tricks you want in GIMP or whatever you use, but if you don't know the basics of Graphic Design or Art than you will get no where with your image or trying to convey what you want in a logical fashion.

Write down what the bluescreen stop code error you get. It'll look something like STOP X00000000( 00000000; 000000000; 00000000; 00000000) where the 0's and stuff will be numbers. It's difficult for us to pinpoint a reason without this.

So I had a chance to test out post 3.0.8 arcane DPS in an instance. Level 77 Mage 68/0/0 (lol PvP) 1066 Bonus Damage 12.82% crit 14% Haste (6% is from talent) (Did have zerk from shaman, btw.) This was on Maiden of Grief in the Halls of Sorrow instance. I just have to say that the 15% bonus arcane damage on your next attack after arcane blast is great, and I think it might really even up arcane with frostfire in raiding. Even better its mana problems are lessened due to a 2m evocation, which along with 80% mana regen while casting (30% talent, 30% mage armor, 20% glyph) it's pretty easy to keep up mana so far. And funny enough this is a very PvP centric build right now too. I don't have Spell Impact maxed yet due to wanting too many good PvP talents, and I don't have imp scorch which would help DPS a lot. And, of course, I don't really have "maximum DPS" glyphs on. And obviously I have [cabbage] gear and am lvl 77. Still, I was impressed with the sustained damage. Fairly easy rotation too, Arcane blast > Arcane barrage, Arcane missiles when it procs. I'd love to hear from a raiding mage what their experience is if they have tried this out post 3.0.8.

If you aren't comfortable building your own PC there is no reason to do so. You might cause more harm then good. The only reason for 3GB of RAM is that they were charging an exorbitant amount for an extra gig ($50!!) of RAM when in reality you could buy 4GB of good quality RAM for $30-$40 these days. 3GB should be enough for anything you're doing, and if you wanted to upgrade RAM is very easy to upgrade.

Are you talking about just doing Ctrl+Alt+Del Task manager Right click on java in processes and set it to high priority or what? Either way you shouldn't have to mess around with your computers configuration like that to get a game like runescape to play well. Are you trying to play SD or HD RS? Also, what is your computers specs and current graphics card. Finally, what was the new anti virus you just installed?
