The official World of Warcraft thread.
Dinged 77, finally bought the flying mount and cold wind flying. Just 3 more levels, really starting to get bored of leveling. Thankfully Zul'Drak is a great leveling zone, glad I left Grizzly hills early. Also 3.0.8 is hitting tomorrow (today technically) so looking forward to that. Arcane buffs are good.

Tshirt collection. Big update, and vote!
Wow man, best of luck. It's incredible to think you're in the top 20! I voted for you.

Melodeath
In the same boat as Intriguing. It's ok, but a lot of times it just feels watered down and boring. Real predictable at times too.

What are you listening to right now!?
Dream Theater- Fatal Tragedy Guitar [bleep]ery like no other. But I'll be damned if I don't like it. :wall: Metropolis Pt2 is still one of the albums I can probably enjoy from Dream Theater.

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
I've been practicing as spy a bit too. I've gotten better on smaller scale matches (8v8) but large matches (12v12) can be a nightmare sometimes.

Logitech Gaming Keyboard/Mouse Series
Get the G5, and I would personally just get a cheaper Logitech keyboard. In all honesty the screen seems a lot like a gimick to me personally, and I've heard from some friends that bought it that they didn't like it too much.

Ideas for cod6
He does want more things online, read what he posted. Whatever IW does I hope they make it different. Not only was CoD5 a carbon copy of CoD4, but it was a terrible carbon copy of CoD4. For CoD6 (or CoDMW:2 as they are saying now) they need to change things up a bit. Not like I'm the biggest fan of the series anyways. CoD4 was a good multiplayer game, however. CoD5 was an abortion.

Baby Thrown on Ground & Killed
You really had to bring that up, did you. :?

Final Fantasy Discussion thread
Only Final Fantasy's I could remotely get into were the SNES era ones. The new ones seem too full of teenage angst or something, and are really traditional JRPG's, I.E, boring. I played FFXII and didn't get very far because it was so slow (the story) and the combat was boring. The FFIII and FFIV remakes for DS though? Yeah, those are great. Even if I haven't beaten IV because my MicroSD card I used for my R4 broke, and I lost the save file in the process. I'd love them to port over VI. edit: Oh and the Final Fantasy tactics series, or more namely the Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced series, is wonderful. I spent many hours on FFTA on my gameboy SP.

Graphics and driver trouble
Is it beeping in a pattern? If so how does it beep. And I assume you have it hooked up to the power supply right?

Rock Band II
Have you ever played the game before?
-
Rock Band II
Movie soundtracks are made by bands you know. For example, a lot of movie soundtracks are made by the band Tangerine Dream. But my original point still holds true, if you don't like bands then why would you try and form an opinion on a game called Rock Band?
-
Rock Band II
Any band? Do you mean any band on the game? Or just any band period.

I wonder how far it would stretch with my 4000+ songs I wonder how far it would stretch with my 7000+ songs *giggle*

Rock Band II
If you don't even enjoy music than why the hell do you think you have some kind of balanced and fair opinion here? If you want repetitive than look no further than the library level on halo. Worst video game level, ever.

Bands = People?
Not my fault you had a flower in your sig.

9 new sigs.
Way too busy. Most of them I can't even pinpoint a main focal point and my eye just jitters around. More specifically, 1) Probably one of the better ones, has a fairly clear focal point. The mirror image is unnecessary and looks lame. The puke green does not work with the silver red and orange color scheme you did here, I would stick to just the Orange/red/silver. 2) WAY TOO BUSY. There is so much going on here, it just looks like you regurgitated 3D renders all over the place and decided to call it a signature. Again you go with unreadable text in an unreadable position. Color scheme needs major work, there is way too much going on here (Cyan/pink/red/green/yellow) and it does not work. 3)More simple, but again the whole mirror image thing is annoying and is a habit you should really get rid of. The color scheme is more basic this time, which is fine -- green and purple work well together. The text is unreadable again, a problem you seem to have a lot. It's a boring signature though. 4)First of all, leaf brush? Really? Talk about cliche. Other than that the two characters fight each other for focus with neither being more important than the other. the background looks real cliche with the purple leaf brush and anime chicks and all that. 5)Too faded out and the Japanese (or whatever text it is, don't shoot me down kids) text is, again, real cliche along with the naruto dude. You really need to work with the basics because again the focus is all over the place, or at the most it just keeps you on the naruto kid without looking at the rest of the image. 6)Mirror image. Boring. Yadayada. Un readable text, boring background. Same old story. 7) Text is unreadble, busy background, battling focal points. I'm pretty much on repeat at this point. 8)Too dark of a background, the bird in the left is completely un needed and I have no idea why it is there. Background again is too dark to see anything. 9)Too bright, although I can almost read all the text in this one. Focal point at least works here, even if it is a boring signature. Eh overall you have a lot of work to do. Work on the basics of design first, please, instead of relying on a cruch of the viewer looking at some anime image you took without any regards to the design as a whole. Once you learn design than I recommend you stop with the overused anime images and work on your own important focal point to draw the viewers attention and guide them around the image.

Any Computer Programmers?
I did a year of C++ in high school. After a semester of it in College though (just as an elective) I decided it wasn't really for me. I'd much rather just stick to the design and art side of things. :P

New Sig
It's not even a drawing, just a filter pile. Please revisit the basics. You now know how to use filters, that's great. Stop using them now. Learn the basics of design and what looks good because right now yours doesn't. http://www.johnlovett.com/test.htm http://www.colormatters.com/colortheory.html Look up better GIMP tutorials. There are a lot of links around the forum. Or, alternatively, ask some of the more experienced GIMP users for help.

Spotty Internet
You could try and switch off the wireless switch. Depending on your OS it might use the wireless connection first. (when I'm at my desk on my laptop the wireless is switched off for ethernet). Do you get this problem on any non online java games though? And it'd be great if you could test it on a non java online game, I'm trying to think of a small one you could possibly download to give it a test just to see if the same problem happens. I'm trying to figure out if it's a problem with the java or the internet connection.

Barebones
Odd that they don't include the heatsink I'd think. Still, that kit looks like a decent deal. It should help a lot with some of the harder parts of building a computer as well.

Rock Band II
So go ahead and laugh, but look at this song: BZxiNuLDHNs I totally was NOT expecting that. Was looking at the country pack for fun, and saw a dixi chicks song that had 6 stars. Bought it and on the sightread it kicked my [wagon]. Beat it now, but still, funny [cabbage]. Banjo solo!

Spotty Internet
So obviously I assume you're on a wireless connection here. Does this problem happen on anything that is not java based? Is there, perhaps, just a non online java game you could test in your browser to see if you get the same results? And would this happen in a non java based online game?

bit torrents
uTorrent has an option for encryption on your torrents which will hide it from your ISP, so they can't throttle it's speeds. Pretty sure Limewire is not a bit torrent program, just a peer to peer one.
