Uh, no, it really didn't. alright, besides pong. What i meant was, it started making them available as household objects. Not really. Only thing NES did was save consoles from the gaming crash of '85 (or whatever, I forgot the date). I don't think consoles really became household objects until Nintendo and SEGA started competing.

T2 and T3 PQ's only get harder man. I'm level 23 right now on the Black Orc, and trying not to go "too" fast. Anyways, some of the bosses really are hard. Of course I've been 3-4 manning most of them since I'm fairly higher level than a lot of players, but they're interesting. T3 is pretty badass though man. There is also a T3 dungeon in Badlands, something like 23-30 or so. The place is huge.

I'll be honest, but, is this actually hurting anything? I don't think in any world 64.5KB is going to be some sort of big deal.

Really some of the people in my dorm building have been pissing me off. - They stand outside, in the halls, at like 1:00 and 2:00 AM and talk. Loudly. Hell sometimes they've been right outside of my door, it's [bleep]ing annoying. And if you ask them to move they'll end up moving like 10 feet. - Just unecessary noise really. I mean, it's a dorm -- no [cabbage]. But half of these guys think it is funny as f**k to just shout randomly and bang on random doors. Or, even worse, just run around and bang on random bathroom stall doors. Really I'm not anal about people making a sound, but it does just get annoying pretty quick. Hopefully with any luck next year I'll have my own place with my friend.

She doesn't have any P2P programs on her PC. The example she gave me was she was opening facebook and it would happen, not sure if it can happen on any page. I'll tell her to do the standard spyware check on her PC and see if that helps.

In all seriousness I'd love to see a mini DOS based PC (or a modified version of DOS with a GUI!) as a handheld. Give it internet connection and the ability to buy and download old DOS games.

Haven't they pretty much accepted it for a while now? Either way I never got why people thought that Evolution and Religion couldn't co-exist. If God is such an Omni-potent and powerful being as Christian's describe him (it?) than God would have no problem just "jump starting" the evolutionary chain. [cabbage], technically God could have just jump started the world and set it so that it would turn out the way he wanted it. Either way I do hope more Christians start getting it through their heads about Evolution.

Looks like the dropped Seinfeld. I caught their new comercial tonight, it's actually pretty good. It's a bunch of people from all walks of life saying "I'm a PC". Really kind of sticking it to the Mac commercials.

First of all I apologize if there is not much information, as this is actually happening with my sisters computer (who currently lives a few thousand miles from me). The problem is that she will be browsing the internet and, upon going to a site, the browser will open up something like a hundred extra windows with that page in it. She has tried IE (not sure what version) and Firefox 3.0, and tried a virus scan. I'm not sure if it is any sort of malware that spybot/Ad Aware would fine, because it seems like such an odd problem. Apparently it happens on random, she hasn't really noticed any kind of pattern (or didn't mention it). Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? All I know for her specs is that she is on a Core2duo laptop (1.8ghz or so) and I believe has 2GB of ram for it. I don't know much more than that, but I can always ask her for extra details. So again, sorry about the lack of details here but I just can't wrap my head around this without actually seeing it.

But "hacking photoshop to 'get' it" is not only highly illegal, its pretty much 100% impossible to do cleanly (meaning without being traced and/or getting a virus/rootkit/trojan/other malware). Unless you're just so incredibly good at guessing numbers you manage to get a matching authentication key and the other code on the first few tries... This is so very wrong, but I won't go into details for obvious reasons. Lets just say you have no idea how it works. :roll: Powman, get GIMP or Paint.Net (the link Mlb posted). They will allow you to crop easily.

Yeah nintendo doesn't much like flashcarts (R4 and such) because most of the time they are used for piracy. You'll have to get them online from a retailer who probably gets them from China.

I would blame the GOA more than EA or Mythic, they are in charge of the stuff over there in the UK.

As far as the UI goes, krisc, you can move around every single element of it where you want without any kind of mods involved. And, of course, you can always download user made UI mods as well like in WoW. Yeah i know that was what i was getting at, i think it wouldnt take them much to add some filler between gaps :P Yeah, that's what user mods are for :P. There are already some out there, and I'm sure a ton more will follow. I always use my debit card for games and it works fine.

I checked out Autechre a while ago, I'll check out those albums though. I don't think listening to some songs on youtube gives the full effect an album will. someone recommend Ragen something, not me.
