  1. I don't really see how you think that google would be so against plugins or anything like that, DVD. The only thing they really mentioned about them is how they work with the rest of the browser. Google is really bent on being sure this is as open source as possible.

Really hit or miss for me. 1) To empty, I don't really like the color scheme either. That's more of a preference though, it still "works". 2)Pretty flat, and I think the amount of black space is kind of a cheap cop-out for an easy focal point. It's just kind of bland. 3)I would move the sprite to another spot, I don't think it works there. And again with the complete black space. 4) Pretty basic. 5) I like this one.Good color scheme, and it does the minimalistic thing well although I may have gone with a little less in the middle or maybe even a little bit on the sides. 6) To bright for my tastes and it just doesn't seem to flow very well. 7) Maybe a bit too tall of a sig, it seems a bit unecessary near the bottom. Also I'm not sure if I like the purple completely over the sig like that, maybe tone down the opacity? 8) Looks unfinished. 9) Same as #8, it looks unfinished. 10)Good balance, and a nice color scheme. Draws you in well. 11) It's ok, but I just don't think a light blue background like that works well. 12) Nice, but you're starting to go back to the black space on the sides which is boring.
  3. I like the "stats for nerds" button. It even lets you compare memory usage between google and other browsers. :P
  4. I agree. I still really enjoy south park, although it started to lose it's self a bit (IMO) near the end of this last season. It's not my favorite show now though, but it's still a great show.
  5. Yeah I think I was probably 10 until I got internet, and really was 13 until I could start using it a lot. These days though I do notice a lot more of my stuff has been dependent on the internet. What can I say? It's spoiled us.
  6. I tried Blender and it's kinda confusing, but I'm no way a pro at 3D modelling/texturing, I just dabble. It really comes down to what you prefer. Some people find 3D Studio max really confusing but I love the UI. Then some people fine Maya really easy yet I hate it :P . Of course it also depends on what he wants to use the 3D modeling for.
  7. As another option for model/texturing (that is free) I would try blender. You'd probably find a lot more documentation for it than AoI. And if you want somewhat of an industry standard try 3D Studio max or Maya, but they either cost money or you .... yeah.

  9. http://community.zdnet.co.uk/blog/0,100 ... 77b,00.htm wow.
  10. Should I just use OOO or what? I have it available to use, but I tried it and didn't really... like it. I wanted to use OOO+MMM+WC+Frans using that one program but I was missing some meshes and I'm not sure from what. :wall: . What exactly is there to do in OOO anyways?
  11. I agree. :P Dark Moor- From Hell Not listening to it atm, but been listening all day. The solo in it is fantastic.

This is a very good idea.
  13. I've started playing it again a bit recently, just until warhammer online comes out. Level 10 Argonian, I'm pretty much your typical "rogue" class. Blade, light armor, restoration, Security, Sneak, Marksman, Alteration. I've finished the Dark brotherhood quest line and the Thieves guild quest line. Just looking for something to do now. I'm running pretty lightly for mods, considering my version is Direct2Drive and I can't use OBSE so it limits what I can use. However I have improved the textures of the game (looks amazing now, 4096x4096 textures instead of 1024x1024) and I have a mod for unlimited weapon charges (I find the system a pain in the [wagon]). Any ideas? I've already beaten the main quest line before so I don't really want to do it again.
  14. The ads haven't bothered me too much so right now Chrome is my default browser. :P
  15. Testing... Yes.
  16. DS controls really nice actually. B/A are jump, X (top) is suicide. Moving is (well) moving. The only part to get used to is that the bottom screen is zoomed in and the top screen is the entire level at once.
  17. Man I can't stand that show lol. Dunno how you like it. Good call on Shin Chan on your list though, show is great and would probably be somewhere in 6-10 for me.
  18. Yeah, there are custom maps though. and each stage has like... 4 levels? And they're all different.

I don't get Chain letters (or chain texts, for that matter).
  20. I haven't got a single popup yet on Chrome.
  21. Yeah who the hell needs a menu bar? It's a complete waste of space. I don't really mind the lack of addons atm. Like I said the only one I even use is adblock.
  22. Really? It's a very unique game as far as RPGs go, something that the genre certainly always needs.
  23. I think it's pretty funny. *shrug* Not the best show by any means but it can be funny (in the same way Family Guy can)
  24. Dude, you're critiquing it's lack of addons when it hasn't been out for even a day yet? Give people time to create =P
  25. SPY IS SAPPIN' MAH SENTRY! I've been playing way too much TF2. Also my Physics class last year was seriously just a general college science course :S
