I don't know if I have a favorite sub genre in all honesty, I like them all about the same. Not as much of a death fan though, although I really just don't listen to much of it. Oh and you should put Drone and Doom up there as well. :thumbup:

Damn, $180? My R4 and 2GB MicroSD cost maybe $40-50. Also as far as the PSP goes the only reason to get it over a DS really is just it can run more powerful homebrew. DS can run more innovative homebrew (with the touch screen) but the PSP has a lot more power behind it. That being said the game library for the DS is miles ahead of the PSP.

You probably should have asked them for a quote before you got them to do the job for you. Hah yeah, that's a [cabbage] price. Hell if they make that much I'll be fixing computers. :P

An R4DS will be hard to find right now, I would recommend a different flash cart. Look around online at reviews, there are some that allow for SDHC cards (4GB - 8GB storage) which is nice. The lite is miles ahead of the regular (or phat) DS. Really the only reason to get the phat is if you are clumsy and drop it a lot, or are a kid. The Lite is much better looking, a much better backlight and is smaller to boot. Plus the lite looks a lot less like a kids toy :thumbup: . pssst you don't have to buy the games. Not going to say any more :P

Grand theft auto 4, I guess? I don't know, I haven't really enjoyed that many 360 games and the ones that are good on there (orange box, DMC4) are better on the PC.

4)Blood Cells Scene. Just learning how to set up a scene, some other various new controls... but mostly was a bit more of learning about textures. Sadly I don't know enough about lighting yet to get it to look like the guy in the tutorial's last image, but the texture was created from scratch at least.

3) Monitor Box Modeling. Pretty quick, I'm definitely getting the hang of this now. It's just an untextured, low poly monitor. Taught me the basics of box modeling. Looking at the back looks like I screwed up a little bit on the stand. Not major enough to matter. :P

4 hours on this Gun game server and I'm like rank 194 :S. Of course I only have a 1.07 KD or whatever but half my kills are headshots.

This is what I found out. Hell, I even tried experimenting with a lens flare placed into it to start smudging. Also tried a clipping mask (new layer and then Ctrl+alt+G) to add in more depth to it.

Tell me about it lol, I'm so used to just kind of doing whatever and not really adhering to strict blueprints or anything. That my problem too, as I build 3D aircraft for a major flight simulator. When you have real pilots flying your plane, you better make sure you've got every last bit right. Guess it would be somewhat of the same for general game design. Yeah. Especially with game design it has to be ready to be animated (unless you're making a static world piece) and if you mess up something you're going to get a lot of clipping issues with the animation. I'm going to focus on the modeling part though more than anything.
