  1. Processes tab, not applications.
  2. Primordial, especially the To the nameless Dead album. Sorry if you already know them. :P
  3. http://herald.warhammeronline.com/warhe ... war?id=380 Not bad. They are doing a regional chat system so that it is more inline with what WoW's chat is like, should hopefully clear up a lot of complaints people have about the community being silent. oh and also: Good stuff. Looking forward to hopefully getting an XP bonus for Battlefield objectives as well.
  4. Guess I don't see the issue like you do here. They're just making it so that there isn't a billion stats. Nothing sucks more than a piece of healing loot dropping when you have a ton of casters that need it, and vice-versa. But what do I know anyways.

Yeah, I mean, it is always an option. Just not a very profitable one.

OP could also start playing another game in which gold has more demand, and enjoy playing the game while earning real world $$. Some games openly allow, or even promote real world trading (anarchy online/second life comes to my mind) Since he's a kid living at his parents and getting all expenses paid for, that has it's perks over the chinese WoW sweatshop worker who is employed by a man enforcing his 14-hour shifts with a firearm... He would get to pocket all his profits, he can take breaks whenever he wants, not play at all on some days, select his buyers, etc. Gold selling isn't some big ugly demon Jagex has set it out to be, but in their game, it is. So why bother when you're just likely going to lose your GP & months/years of work on your account after Jagex tracks it down to you? Rather play some other game for profit which has less strict rules about gold selling, less stress & more profit. If I was forced to make money fast with online games, I'd even take WoW gold selling over Runescape any day. There's so many other games where profitable real world trade can be made, RuneScape isn't one of them. The problem, of course, is that he just wants some fast cash. Obviously Runescape isn't as lucrative but selling an account would be a quick way. Also I am fairly sure Anarchy Online does not promote RMT. They do have their own cash shops for certain special items (like vehicles) but they don't actively promote other players buying and selling gold. And really, selling WoW gold would be a pain too. 500 gold is currently $12.49, and farming 500 gold is near impossible in a decent time unless you are 70 with a decent mount. Sure you could probably mark up the price a bit to younger kids who don't know better, but I'm not sure if a new person would manage to break even with $15 a month. Not to mention gold farmers are still really annoying, and I do dislike the gold selling business just due to their decisive ways. I've only sold accounts when I was in need of cash, and quitting a game. Of course I do regret that (sold my EQII and old WoW account) but at the time it gave me a few hundred bucks so whatever. The only thing he could do is power level a WoW character to 60 or 70 and sell it. Could probably sell a new level 70 for $150 or so, although it would take probably at least 7-8 days / played. 192 hours for $150-$250 is really bad.

I think color is a good thing, and blizzard certainly does know enough about how to do that.
  8. What the hell is spell power? And I'd check out the patch as I have a month left (sigh >_<) but already uninstalled the game so I could fit Crysis Wars on my PC. Oh well :P
  9. Yeah man, his parents are so cool. Giving him thousands and thousands of dollars a year just to play WoW. I mean, really? If he managed to pay for it himself I wouldn't care, but the fact that his parents do is sad.

It's not like breaking the Jagex rules is a big deal, you'd just get banned. There are plenty of ways to get past an IP ban too to make new characters (which I won't go into, but it's possible). Just saying if the OP doesn't want to get a job for some reason he could go into selling gold, or selling his runescape account. Probably could make at least a bit off of that. Although selling gold / accounts can be a pain, and if he doesn't have a credit card or bank account it isn't going to help. Why can't you get a job though?
  11. I never did finish F.E.A.R (PC). It's fun, but near the end you really have to use the bullet time deal to even get near surviving. Just not that much fun running around in slow mo after a while.
  12. Don't know if I really have a favorite signature, at least right now. Most of the really good artists I know of work with larger sizes.
  13. Yeah Open Office is great, I too use it instead of Microsoft office.
  14. Sorry, already on Ungrim.
  15. If it's any consolation, I quite enjoyed reading the green text, in place of the normal white. Although, you could have picked a less puke-looking color. If you want to post in colors, go ahead. There's always highlighting the text. On Pro-Silver it is next to impossible to read.
  16. He gets money from his parents... to play WoW.
  17. All of the FF's except for 12 are turn based... What? Only I-III and X are turned based. All other games are using the ATB system, which is pretty close to real time while still getting in random encounters (Which I think are dying out.). Funny enough the ones you mentioned are the only I've played. Guess I was wrong.
  18. I don't really know why I'm still here to be honest.
  19. There, I un-annoyed your post for you. Green is [bleep]ing horrible to read, which is too bad because it's some decent information.
  20. Yeah mount gunbad and bastion stairs (and Lost Vale, although I haven't done it yet) are the "real" dungeons in the game. If you are talking about the little ones in altdorf/Inevitable city they are not "real" dungeons, just little places to farm rep for your city. :P Really though the PvE isn't bad, the encounters are pretty epic in those dungeons.
  21. Well obviously if you're a bigger fan of PvE than WAR may not be the game for you. That being said, have you gone to mount gunbad, or bastion stairs? Likewise some of the higher level PQ bosses get fairly interesting as well. :) And you can just check mark it and click accept, takes 2 seconds tops to get through LUA. I wanna say it's so they can do something with the gold farmers (as they are breaking the EULA).
  22. I'm not concerned about security or anything, I haven't had a security problem in years. I just want to know how and why some anti-virus software are better than others. Most of the things I hear are things that never happened to me ("My systme crashed after I installed {Software}!!) or resource usage. Better Virus Definitions (means that it can spot more viruses, and the trickier ones) and being less of a system resource hog are usually the two main reasons.
  23. The ones that really get me are the "sunny side of..." commercials. Some of them are so blatantly misconstrued 'facts' (and I use that term loosely) that its almost a downright lie. Likewise the dramatization of them is just horrible, such as the kid who smokes weed and ends up still living with his parents as an adult. I mean, if you're going to try and campaign this at least put facts out there, even though it really is unnecessary. The hard drugs which are a problem can't be solved by some silly TV ad.
  24. And to think there are so many other cooler things he could do with that setup than play WoW. :P
  25. I'd always close out of any torrent programs when you aren't downloading. They'll bring any computers internet connection to a crawl.
