It's not really one day, but probably near the end of my semester of the first year in college. (not this past semester, mind you. This was at a different school). I knew I was going to fail badly (I hated the school, just was a bad time for me too) and just the pressure of what the hell am I going to do after this was really bad. However now at the new college I'm at I am loving it.

Well no [cabbage] something is going to run faster on XP, it uses less memory. Most of the time the difference is not even noticable though (5-8 fps maybe with a good rig). You still can't run DX 10 under XP which for a new gaming machine you would want to. Point in case vista is fine to use now if you're buying a new machine and don't do anything stupid like only put a gig of ram in it.

It may just be dust in it or something, or if it's an older machine they tend to do that as they get older. As long as it isn't that bad or overheating your PC I would say its a non-issue.

False. Vista's drivers are fine now, and if you are buying a new machine the manufacturer has already made sure you are able to have the correct drivers. Vista is fine now, and I'd recommend it personally. Gaming laptops are around, it's just that they won't be as powerful as a desktop. Anyways I do retract what I said about the newegg laptop, it's pretty poor for its price. However I just remembered that dell, to be honest, has pretty good price gaming laptops. Buying a machine at a local store is not only a waste of money, but a lot of the people they hire there don't know [cabbage] about computers. @ OP: With a $3000 budget you can get a great machine from newegg. THIS looks like a pretty decent choice for a laptop if you really want to get one. However unless you are dead set on a laptop I would personally sugest getting a desktop. For $3000 you can get a top of the line machine.

I still think dvd's will be the major format for a while to come now. At least until blue ray or Hd Dvd players drop in price. At the moment i just don't see the quality increase for Dvd versus blue ray.

You're assuming for some reason that homosexuality would increase. Blindness is an impairment. Explain how homosexuality is an impairment. Blindness is a visual impairment, and homosexuality is a reproductive impairment. Surely from an evolutionary standpoint homosexuality can be viewed as a defect? Being homosexual doesn't mean that you simply become in able to make a baby. If the world some how depended on a homosexual person having a child (for some strange reason, even though overpopulation is often times an issue) that person could still make a baby with another female/male (depending on their gender). They may not like it, but they aren't completely unable to do so.

You shouldn't be down to 20-40% hp (maybe 40% I could understand but not 20) from a stunlock, especially if you trinket the kidney shot or something. I mean its a big thing for gear too for rogue vs lock. I'm not saying that a rogue won't win, a good rogue vs a good lock the rogue 'should' win, but he has to play correctly to do so against a top end SL lock. Just trying to say that its a lot different for an 8k hp rogue vs 8k hp lock and a top end geared 10-11k hp rogue vs a top end 13-14k lock. (since they have more life than rogues almost always).

A well geared rogue versus a well geared warlock is a good fight to see. The things you mentioned for the warrior and hunter are easy, just one thing to do and they're pretty good. I mean a warrior can break out of fear I don't know how many times and will just pummel the lock to death. The hunter will just pop beastial wrath and destroy him too because the lock can't do anything. A rogue needs to keep up his A game to beat a well geared (PvP geared mind you) lock. A rogue verus a PvE geared lock though the rogue should always win. Lock needs to be SL for pvp most likely anyways.

Plenty of things are natural in nature, but you have to draw the line at what hurts others and what is perfectly harmless. Anyways I'm fine with homosexuals as you can probably tell. I'm with lion as well, hating someone because of their sexual orientation is just as bad as hating someone for their color of their skin or where they are from.

well you can use the GH guitar with Rock Band so I dont see why it wouldn't the way around. It was tested a bit ago in joystiq, the Rock band controller wouldn't work with GH.

An MM hunter can hardly get away from me, BM just kite me easy. @ Dragon: No one believed you because there is no way a ret paladin will out dps a similar geared and played rogue, its impossible. Only rogue's you'd out dps would be scrubs. :) @ Zon: I usually would try to keep up fear on both pet and hunter, fearing the hunter first. At low levels they prob won't have a fear break. Hunters are a locks worst nightmare though next to arms warriors. Oh and DING 70. Dinged it at 6am.

I don't think you can use the rock band guitar with Guitar hero unless it got changed recently.
