I think death from falling off my toilet would be pretty entertaining, and certainly an odd story for the police to tell your family. "Ma'mn.. I'm sorry, but he's dead. Apparently he fell off his toilet and banged his head -- killing him". You know, something thats tragic but just damn funny if you think about it. But you can't laugh 'cuz its family that died, you know? :lol: Why would you kill a bunch of people before you died? I mean, I know there isn't going to be any consequence with you dead and all but still -- taking out a bunch of innocent lives is not the way I wanna go down to be remembered and I certainly don't wanna go down as that psycho who killed a bunch of people. Plus there is always the chance that after murdering some you get tackled and held back so you couldn't kill yourself, and then you would have to live a life in prison. (or try and get yourself killed there -- which would be painful more than likely).

It's a WoW clone. Honestly unless you're really atracted to the idea of the LoTR universe WoW simply has more content, more players and is better.

I doubt it was an accident. I mean, its not like any sane person would wrestle and tackle a 7 year old. I don't think it was accidental they killed her.

Meh I don't think the games popularity should really have much to do with a game of the year list. Anyways, the other popular multiplayer FPS I posted (CoD 4) just craps all over halo 3.

I'd say you're correct NOM. For the most part link is not the same link but the name just symbolizes a boy who will help save the world. Only really linked games were OoT and Majoras mask, and I think Zelda 1 + 2 were linked? Also wind waker / phantom hourglass were linked.

Halo 3 doesn't belong anywhere in the top games of 2007. And call of Duty 4 was great, no doubt, but I enjoyed portal much more than it and EP2 as well better.

Except that it isn't just that. Electronica (techno) consists of much more than just dance music.

This is going to erupt in to a giant flamewar. Personally my favorite genre(s) are probably metal/rock with a bit of techno, but honestly I'll listen to anything about if its good. Why can't techno or electronica songs be about something? You realize an electric guitar is just a piece of electric equipment as well right? It still takes a lot of skill to compose a good electronica song, and they can be very meaningful.

$15 a month isn't major cash. A large reason for subscription fees is that when you have to pay all the server fees that they do you need to have a monthly fee to continue on. Add in the fact that many subscription based games are adding in a lot of content (WoW adds in a ton of non-expansion content in form of patches, and Lineage II has just released their sixth free expansion pack) the $15 a month adds up. Hellgate london was fun for a week or so but got old quick. Btw, even if you were just playing an hour or two each day I would still give WoW a shot. You could still probably group up on weekends, and its one of the most solo friendly MMOs out there. Any others you'll probably end up having to waste a lot of play time finding a group.

Hmm.... :-k Going to count orange box as seperate games for this one, only fair. 5)Mass effect I haven't played this yet, but from what I hear its a great RPG. While I don't think it has what it takes to go up against the other big hitters because of a few problems (balance problems and such) its worthy of #5 4)BioShock I know, I know I'm putting it in spot 4. In reality its probably fairly tied with CoD 4 as far as it goes. The reason why it is so low is because even though it broke the barrier for gaming as an artform I had more fun with the other mentioned titles higher up here. It was a great ride, no doubt, and very artistic but just not as fun. 3)Call of Duty 4 Its intense. Honestly CoD 4 does what I thought a game couldn't do, really picture intense warfare where it really feels like that at any second something could go wrong. In the multiplayer you are constantly looking around, and with airstrikes always slamming down everywhere its one of the most intense multiplayer experiences of this year. 2)Half life 2: EP2 I split this game and #1 up from the orange box because each deserves their own award. One on hand, Episode 2 is easily one of the best half life's yet -- even rivaling #1. While length wise it is fairly short the action never gives up and the gravity gun is as fun as ever. Plus, the last fight is great -- easily one of my favorite for the year. 1)Portal Ah... portal. This game is #1 for so many reasons to me. The first, of course, is how inovative it is. In a sea of first person shooters and RPG's and other generic games portal steps ahead from the rest and does something not seen before in any other game. Honestly, portal takes our technology of today and turns it into one of the most engrossing and, more importantly, FUN games of all time. Yes, it is short and.. yes, it can be beat in a few hours. However nothing can simply replace how much fun those 3 or so hours were, and portal has just simply brought a revolution on how to attach the player to the in game characters. I mean, the weighted companion cube. I remember reading how valve keeps a lot of data on how players play their game. When the people had to throw the cube into the incinerator they noticed that some people tried to get around it, and some even jumped in themselves instead of the cube! The fact that they could actually get the player attatched to a little cube with a heart, and now the fact that shirts are out for this cube and they are making plush toys just shows how great this game was. GLADoS as well was just amazing. The witty, dry humor lead to some of the most memorable quotes of the year -- in which I think that in years to come will be quoted. (See -- my signature). Whats great as well is that with the source SDK kit out now supporting portal mod communities will go wild with this game. I fully expect to see more brilliant mods coming out for portal because the possibilities with the engine is limitless. Well that is my pick for the top 5, the only game I have not played on the list is Mass effect currently. It's been a great year for gaming, and hopefully 2008 can keep up. :)

daggers viable, what a laugh. Mutilate has always been pretty decent but IMO once HARP is nerfed its going to be all about combat maces or maybe even 31/0/30. Maces > daggers though, by a longshot.

Really its just for some better grades this next semester. (meh, usually is). However a good part of that is always going to class. Sometimes I'll be sleepy and just skip an unimportant class, and sadly those stack up. In fact missing one class for my Intro to graphics nearly made me fail. What happened is she anounces the paper a week ahead of time, and I wasn't there. I ended up missing the paper and while the rest of my grades wern't that great (D"s and such) the paper just killed me. Luckily I studied my [wagon] off and got a 93+ on the final to pass the course (had to get a 93+ to pass and I did). Next semester shouldn't be too difficult though, only tough classes will probably be College Alg and World history.

I had to explain this was a new Cyrant and I sold the old one, lol :lol: . I'll add your toons tomorrow. On an unrelated note I dinged 65 tonight as well, 5 levels to go. I can do ring of blood now though so 65-66 should breeze by (and CLoS at 66 yay).

Pretty boring, its probably one of the oldest ideas (monty python quoting) for a fake next to faking a bank account or stats. Not difficult to do at all either. 2/10 if you really want a rating or w/e.

How do you get rated to be a professional? :? sig 1: too large of a border, and the left side isn't the same size as the right. I don't like the white on the right side of the guy and the left side mostly looks like a cloud stock that was filtered. Not a big fan of it. photo manipulation: What is the original photo? It looks good no doubt, but I don't know what of it you actually did or didn't do -- plus I hope you just didn't take some guys painting and manip it. sig 2 It's ok, but the white it soo intense and the sprite doesn't blend in well at all. The colors are kind of nice but on a whole the entire sig is just really flat. It also doesn't have a border.

Whatever you want I guess. Just saying though, doing something everyone else is isn't always bad -- people usually have those pets for a reason. I know, but its fun being different, not to sound non conformist or anything but I just don't see much point in following the crowd. You'll level faster, put out more dps, be able to kill tougher mobs, ect. Really any other pet except the dragonhawk is fine. The dragonhawks are casters and its just blegh.
