Age of Conan if that comes at a surprise to you. Tried playing The Witcher but the controls were really horrible so I stopped. Maybe I was just doing something wrong though.

Vista is nice if you want DX 10, but other than that its not really worth it. It still is fine though if it comes with a new desktop, if the desktop is decent that is.

Yeah, be sure to check that your GPU and CPU fans are working correctly. Also, download speedfan if you can and post some of the temperatures of CPU/GPU and such. That might give us a good idea if it is overheating.

Wish I still had my [bleep]ing copy of marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the dreamcast. Amazing game, pretty rare now too IIRC. Problem is it got stolen along with my old dreamcast, worms:armegeddon (for dreamcast) and some other games including Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.

That does sound annoying though. However, you can use any USB mouses so it doesn't matter. I'd think that they would, consider they are a. overpaying on hardware and b. paying for something they can't upgrade. Not really, even though apple would like you to think that. A lot of graphic editing that directly relates to fields like game design are done on PC's (obviously) and at least in the company I work in (doing web design) we use PC's as well. That being said there is nothing a mac can do for the graphic design industry that a windows based PC can't do. I'd go as far to say "linux" as well, although I believe it is limited for photoshop. So what, you'd want them to just bog down an OS with more features? Lepord wasn't that different than OS X, and had some nasty bugs as well. In reality it really was just a graphical upgrade with a few features. FYI apple is working on a new OS as well, from what I understand. I doubt it'll be much different. Actually I believe it was a printing company that had the first PC, but I can't for the life of me remember which. Also DOS is very much an OS, just not with a GUI. Subjective. I know a lot who use Sony vegas pro or Adobe after effects. Sorry, I really don't want to get involved in this MAC VS WINDOWZ [cabbage] but some of this was just nonsense. Either way get a mac if you wish, but just remember that it is limited to what you can upgrade. As far as Macbooks go they honestly aren't bad (maybe a bit expensive, I dunno) but thats just because you aren't upgrading a laptop anyways. And it is true (from what I've heard at least) that mac's user base is growing, but its not like its any sort of threat. Most just want the computability with windows and Direct X. Yeah, they are pretty nice. So expensive though, I think it'd cost like $3,000-$4,000 to mimic my $1,000 PC. (which most parts save for the video card were bought a year ago, so its closer to $800 today. This is including OS though, without its like $700). Hell, I don't even think a laptop can go up against a 2.7ghz dual core, 9600GT and 3Gb of ram. 8-)

It does get a bit easier. I was able to aford my mount (2g mount 1g training = 3g) by level 56 or so. Hah, and what were you messing with it for? :lol: PS: everyone should read THIS! You know, I'm not sure really. I do think that sometimes the guys behind Cyanide do it just to be [bleep]s (the CAD spoof wasn't actually funny). As far as CAD goes I'm fine with it taking the turn it has. It's not like all comics are supposed to be funny all the time.

I read a lot of those you posted, although you didn't mention Penny Arcade. Also since this a thread about comics, what did you think about Cyanide's spoof of CAD's recent comic? (The storyline about the miscarriage). I'm not sure what they were trying to say there, but oh well.

np. And you are on the EU servers, right? If so which one so I can put it up as an "offical" one. My tempest of set is up to level ~26 now, the thing just rapes face. It's also funny how many people I can get over to my side, even after pissing them off immensely, through sheer logic. For example the other day I was level 20 on my ToS, just got to khopshef providence. I was out and about doing my quests when I thought I saw a level 18. Now, you guys would know that its pretty much impossible for a lvl 18 to be running around and it was, in fact, a level 28 conqueror. Well I attack anyways and do a good chunk of damage to this guy -- it turned out he was running around with frenzy stance. He starts running off and tries to make it to the water. Being a ranged class, however, I finish him off in the water. Then the following conversation ensued (roughly): Me: Hahahahaha. Me: 8 levels lower, GG. Him: How did you hit me? Me: What do you mean? Him: How did you hit me, you're 8 levels lower! Me: you're bad Him: Your class is so OP, you shouldn't be able to do that!!! Me: No, you're bad Him: what!? Me: Pro tip - don't run around in frenzy stance you [bleep]ing moron Him: That doesn't matter! You're 8 levels lower than me!!! Me: Also, I enjoyed the little run to the water - cute Him: Tempest of Set are so OP Me: I play a conq, don't run around in frenzy stance dude it's stupid. Him: that shouldn't matter! Me: It does. Good thing about the M rating, Funcom doesn't punish for bad language -- they only step in if people start using racial slurs and such.

if you don't even just having a cloth or something and wiping the dust from the fans can really help. Also have you solved the problem by uninstalling that extra set of drivers or is it still BSoDing?

Was just wondering because I couldn't imagine a raid without chain heals, or a paladin single healing. More so of 25 man stuff though. Honestly, you could go into kara with about any setup.

I can't play any games worth jack on my laptop, the lag is too horrible because of the weak graphics card. Don't know anyone else with a laptop who can game properly, either. I do know 1 person who owns an AlienWare laptop, but those are specifically created for mobile gaming anyways.. I want to say the dell XPS laptops are nice, but honestly they are so big that you may as well get a desktop :lol:

You should see all the rabid fanboys after EDGE's review of the game. They gave it an 8/10 and kids were going crazy over it. Sort of funny, really. Anyways I don't have the game, nor a PS3, but just wanted to chime in on that.
