Well there is a few things you can do. The first is you could try and just convince them. Show them that the acedemics and such are better at this school you want to go to, or show them that you'll be around plenty of friends and won't be homesick. The second thing is a bit more difficult. The fact is if you are a legal adult, and manage to get a scholarship to this school in Arizona and if you have a car you can always just go and they really have no right to stop you. I do trust that it is the right decision for you (to go to this school in Arizona) it's just going to be difficult. Anyways I go to school out of state as well and I love it. I was lucky enough though that my parents understood. Good luck. :P

I can see sub-genres probably (such as emo) but when you openly say you hate everything 'rap' you're shutting out such a diverse thing of music. It's the same thing if you hate 'rock' or hate 'metal', there are just too many sub-genres within a main genre for it to make any sense. Clearly, you can't find something that you like? I find most of the people that do just say "lol I hate rap" or "lol i hate rock" have heard one or two songs on the radio for the specific genre and gave up. Sycosis is, no doubt, no different here.

Again not a fault of "big bad America". Games just simply are not available in other regions all the time, although I'd be interested in knowing which games gave you that problem. Funny enough it may not even be an American company! - They automatically assume their country is the middle of the universe. For the most part the U.S does have a good impact on the world, and their is no doubting that. Yes some people take it too literally (the world couldn't survive without us) but trust me, most Americans are level headed. - Laugh at others cultures and accents. I don't see this often except maybe in little kids. (which if you are playing games with than no wonder you hate America). America is pretty damn diverse as far as other cultures go, so trust me most of us are pretty tollerant of any culture. Sorry if this is a generalisation, but happens quite often. Sure, i've got quite a few american friends, but even more american enemies. How old are you, if I don't mind asking?

Xavier is pretty confusing. I mean, it follows his journey of finding his fathers killer (he didn't know it was him) while trying to help others and instil his 'wisdom' upon them. Really it just follows his journeys. I won't lie that the show confuses me a lot but it's just so awesome. As far as the live action shows go I don't mind them. Come on, I love those. Dark Place is pretty funny just because it's a campy kind of thing. Xavier is just awesome. It's a really good show IMO, one of the better ones on [AS] atm. I'm confused here. As long as the virus is on your old machine it isn't going to get to your new machine. Plus, I highly doubt that a virus can only be removed through "reinstalling XP". So I have no idea what you and/or your parents are on, especially if you think runescape is the problem or cause of the virus.

I don't have a name but it'd probably have to be some black metal atempt by some basement/garage band that sucks. Honestly, I've heard some of this stuff these guys try to call 'music'. I mean, it's tough enough already to make black metal good and listenable, but when you put a bunch of untalented goth kids together it does not work out when you can't even make out what is what. Even as bad as most popular songs are they are at least listenable, like if I'm riding with someone else in the car and they have the radio on or something. But shoddy underground atempts at being 'tru' metal is easily the worst kind of music, ever.

Because of the internet and MMO's I only end up spending $15 a month or so for gaming, unless a new (good) game comes out that I want. Without the internet I'd be playing a lot more single player games, and I'd be out of more money :P - Probably would not have learned a lot that I know of now through online debates and such. - Would have never even touched or thought about digital art, hell, I'd hardly know what it was! I mean, my entire career I am aiming for would be entirely different! - I probably wouldn't be as up to date on what is happening in the world. (because of news articles online and sites like digg.com) My life would probably be a lot different to be honest.

+1, finally it's not just me that is proving him wrong in threads :) . I have used 2000 with 64MBs of ram also and it wasn't that bad. I found 128MBs to very usable on 2000 for web browsing and basic stuff. People today are suggesting too much ram for these computers when all people want to do is browse the web and edit some photos. You don't need 2GBs of ram, even in Vista to do that. Not everybody is a gamer. The problem is that gamers and computer enthusiasts are suggesting the upgrades and they think having 5 programs open at once is normal for the average person. True. My grandparents PC uses 512mb of ram on vista and it runs 'ok' for general web browsing, although personally if you use vista I would go with a gig minimum if you aren't even gaming. As far as XP goes 512mb will work, but to be honest a gig is cheap these days -- I mean like dirt cheap. And @ Pure_Mage: Devnull is constantly wrong about stuff, I'd just ignore him for the most part.

Come to think of it I should have a spare HL2 / EP1 as well... :-k
