Decided to try some BC2 on my new rig as a FPS test. Ended up running @70-80 FPS all settings maxed 1920x1080 and 32X QSAA (didn't even know it went to 32X rofl). Pretty pumped about the new computer.

I'm in the d.c area so I felt the quake too lol. Only lasted for like 10 seconds.

Forge FE into stargate pressure into build a deathball. PvZ is still my worst match up though. Pretty much if they get to brood lords = I lose. If they don't build them = I win.

Sounds good to me. I'll make those changes. Probably going to order this thing with those changes. I'll probably keep the smaller ram, just in case. Don't really need the heatsink anyways on them.

Ok, I'll switch to this than. I want to stick with G.SKILL.

I'm still kind of hoping that EA and Valve can work something out to get BF3 on steam. I'll buy the game either way but would really prefer it on Steam.

Really? I don't want to spend too much on a tower and this one was probably the best reviewed one around what I wanted to spend. The tower is 18" long and the card is 9" long. Should fit in just fine.

Not sure why your army would move command when you try and force field :/. Aside from that FF issue whats your problem with zerg? Its a tough match up but most of them can't even control their infestors properly, even in top diamond. (Top 8 diamond protoss here, been playing for 3 months lol).

Halo has been doing it fine since ''01. Halo is also a lot slower than CS and easier to aim in.

I just think between that and the speed of CS (and the way the guns work) would make it difficult on a console.

Luls Masters was easy to break into a few months ago. Im not up to date with the current metagame but Protoss / Zerg should have a simple time getting in. I've only been playing for a few months with no RTS experience really before this. For the most part it is just the amount of games you need to play to get there. That and I'm not sure how close or far away I am.

Still playing Starcraft II. Trying to work my way to masters right now... long road ahead of me. (top 8 diamond atm) Not a whole lot to play until later this year.

The thing about Counter strike is that you don't have the "sighting in" like in CoD and later battlefield games that makes them possible to play on a console controller. It's also a fast game, I just can't really see yourself doing very well with the way counter-strike aiming works. (guns are not that accurate). I'm sure that it will be fine on consoles but I also expect it to get the most support on the PC.

Yeah they ported it over, never really did well there if I remember right.

I don't see how this looks like LoL at all. LoL looks heavily cel-shaded with really thick outlines. And people on the HoN forums are [developmentally delayed]ed.

I like how it looks. UI could use a bit of polishing but the game and character models look great.

Nice job. I think I like the 2nd (shorter exposure) a bit better. Mostly because the horizontal streaks in the first one kind of hurt it. (not like that was under your control of course, lol)
