On Ep 09 of Darker than Black. Really liking it so far. Pretty good atmosphere and some cool characters. Not entirely what I was expecting but its pretty fun so far. edit: Ok EP 13 and 14 were incredible.

Because in all honesty it's a over-glamorized fad. I'm not one to judge people harshly, believe me, but you can't help to admit the majority of the loudest fans are the ones who feel all proud to be a 'rebel' of sorts. I don't like saying it, but it's the only reason why it has grown so large and so loud. I agree with this. Like I've said before I see absolutely no reason to put this much into a show and it honestly is a little creepy. (in the same way where furries 'proudly' proclaim how much they would love to [bleep] a fox). Like the show if you want but the whole 'bronie' thing is just stupid.

That RAT mouse looks absolutely [developmentally delayed]ed. I guess I would go with the Deathadder out of those 2 choices. Never used either mouse though.

I think it has a ton of potential. I don't have a facebook (well I deleted it) but I like some of the stuff Google+ has done so far. I think being able to filter by friends circles is the absolute best thing in the world.

Yeah I downloaded both of the series at once. I think one of my big issues with it is the concept of telling the story over and over again from different perspectives started to get old. I thought the pacing was really strange. Also [hide=spoiler]I really didn't like when one of the characters just started to go bat[cabbage] crazy. I thought it was a much better series when it was characters who felt like they were backed into a corner with no option but to kill. The whole Shion thing though just made it seem like she was a bloodthirsty killer upset over a guy. Honestly I pretty much stopped watching after that arc.[/hide]

Got through most of Season one for Higurashi. I'm really disappointed with it overall. It had a really good chance of being great but the story just gets too convoluted. Also the animation in it is pretty bad at times. Sad that it didn't turn out to be better, the concept of it seemed interesting. I think I had partialy the same issue with it as I did Elfen Lied; they just tried too hard. I'll probably just move to watching Darker than Black. Honestly though if you didn't mind Elfen lied and you like a very anime style (like very typical) than you'd probably like Higurashi.

Psh all of you people and your Google+ invites. (I got mine a week ago >_> /hipstermode). I did hear that if you +1 something though from a site that it will give you an invite that way. Might as well try.

Hah. I signed up like a week ago and got in in like 2 days. I really like it so far. It had some issues converting a few of my albums but it's a really nice service.

I'll probably play again when 1.8 comes out. I like minecraft but it gets tiring for me just building things. I feel like there are probably a lot of people in my position looking forward to this update.

Do macbooks have an e-sata port? I kind of doubt it but if they did you could run an external through that and it would act just like a regular hard drive. (It's what I do with my laptop).

Thinking of downloading and watching Darker than Black. Anyone ever see it? edit: Downloading Darker Than Black and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (S1+S2). If you want something with a more serious tone watch Monster or Serial Experiments Lain. Paranoia Agent is also probably one of my favorite animes of all time. Just let convince you. Also watch some anime moves. Akira, Paprika, Perfect Blue and Millennium Actress are all brilliant. (Yes, I like Satoshi Kon's works).

I've got a laptop >_>. And any old ram I have would be DDR2. I just don't want to pay $160 for 60GB. My steam folder alone is over 60 gigs of games. I understand that its fast but at the shortest I'm going to wait a year or so to see what happens to SSD's. I feel like I could spend $160 on stuff that would help my PC performance (where it counts) more so than an SSD currently. I mean I just don't think that having my OS and a few games load faster is worth the money. Also missed this part. For as much as I reboot my system (not much) I think I will miss $160 over 30 seconds. Again just don't think I really feel like spending the money just for an OS. I think if I wait a year or so than the price will be a lot more manageable.

Meh, the reason why I would get an SSD would be to help game performance. I just can't justify the price yet for a bit of an increase in a few games yet. (as I couldn't have enough meaningful applications on a small SSD). Also the 1TB I might just keep as an external drive (I have it in an enclosure atm). Maybe I'll upgrade to an SSD later down the road when they start to get a bit cheaper but it is hard for me to justify right now, especially when I could spend that extra money elsewhere.
