  2. I like the original picture better...

Game just [bleep]-slapped my computer. Was running it on mediums with texture on high (1680x1050) and was getting lag. Friends machine (8800GTX, ect.) ran it on all very high though 4x (or even 8x AA) just fine.

http://files.filefront.com/Crysis+SP+De ... einfo.html Heres a better link IMO. Filefront has amazing DL speeds on it.
  5. I'm not really a fan of that sprite sig at all. I like the brushing techniques used but the text is incredibly blah, and I'm just not sure about the focal point streaking through the middle like that.
  6. Lol my favorite part of the rape thing was: "THEY'RE RAPING US. THEY'RE RAPING US AND IT HURTS!" lawls.

Lol, you really think TIF would allow this?
  8. Ok, lets rethink this Rock Band, is basically Singstar combined with guitar hero, with some drums. Sure the drums look fun, but the songs IMO don't look all that great, the guitar and bass is just the same as from Guitar Hero, and the microphone, well noone will bother with it, you don't even hear people singing when you go online, you just hear the proper singers voice and see how well the player controlled singer is doing along the top. They should've just released drum hero as everything else has already been done, possibly better, in other games. Plus if Guitar Hero costed ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50 with a guitar think how much Rock Band will cost o.O $180.
  9. Delete my (almost) full epic rogue which I have invested close to 100 days playtime on and abandon all my friends and the guild I'm in... to work as a healbot for you and Andy in arena? And by the time I reach level 20 you'll just start on some other server (and delete your horde characters because that's what you do apparently) -- or yet again go all, "IM ROLLIN PTR LOL!!" Yeah, I'm just annoyed I didn't think of this brilliant idea first. /facepalm Meh why you delete one mate? Should have sold it for a couple hundred bucks.
  10. Heh I'm up to episode 28 now, and its getting even more intense. [hide]I can't believe his dad died though. I was really happy to at least see his dad died without knowing and thinking his son wasn't kira though.[/hide]
  11. Oh great we have a troll. Seriously, go take your fanboy nonsense someplace else. That might very well be the first troll I have ever seen on tip.it. Yeah generally we just have stupid people, not trolls.
  12. Not all of it is relavent, but don't feel like posting it again.
  13. You should have caught her off guard, flashed a beaming smile and given her a book titled "How to lose weight". Don't get mad, get even :P Damn, ouch. :P
  14. butters: aww man, all I did is come here than I got snarff and popeye and jesus all mad at me.. :( Has some of the best quotes in that episode lol.
  15. That car is effing awesome mate, no crits at all. :P
  16. Oh man, the second part was epic. I LOL'd so hard whenever I saw the woodland critters. Jason: "man I don't want to think of the kid who thought up these"
  17. Dante is still cropped out horribly...
  18. - Mountains don't enter water like that often. Even if they do its not common and looks poor. They enter it through a slope, I.E a beach. - Water seems too choppy for such a small reserve (what it looks like at least.), I don't think that wind could get there very well past the mountains. - Atmosphere is a bit poor. The blue glow on the mountains is unrealistic IMO, especially with how the sky is. - Sky looks pretty default, but nothing to really comment on that. - Surface map wise, its very poor. The rocks look simply unrealistic and the single color isn't right. Look up what a 'strata' is, they are very great for mountains. A good example of what a strata looks like is Here as you can see on the steep cliff. Here Is a pretty good example of a surface map on mountain. The problem with yours is the cliffs are just simply too steep to be of any use and turns out unrealistic. - On the topic of an atmosphere, Here is an ok example of what you can achieve with the atmosphere settings. Now, composition wise. The mountains take up most of the image and you can only see a bit of water and a little bit of atmosphere. Its not terribly balanced well and just looks poor. It also is difficult to really apprehend the size of the mountains because there is nothing to compare it too. Another thing you want to watch out for is the case of where your world just looks like it ends suddenly. It doesn't get a chance really to 'end' here, as you have it mostly covered up by mountain, but because of all the mountains around it would suggest that it is probably part of some sort of mountain range. For it just to be atmosphere behind it, while not entirely 'wrong' per say, just looks kind of bad. So, what can help? First of all download world machine. This is a brilliant terragen terrain creation program and its where I make the majority of my terrains. The default terrain editor is, IMO, poor and really too random. Also try and get a good understanding of the parent/child relationship. Simply put its like this: The child layer must be wherever the parent is, like one would expect in real life. So for example lets look at your surface map. The base layer is simply the parent for every other layer you have. Its what is under every texture. You then have layers after that. Lets say you start with a rocky texture for the base. You then create a new parent layer (a child of the base) and make it a dirt like texture. You could then add some child layers to the dirt so you could have more than one texture. So for example various colors to add to the dirt. You could then make a new parent layer to the base which is grass. It would behave on its own, since it has different properties than dirt obviously. (grows different places, ect.). You can then make some child layers for the grass for different colors, ect... I think you're getting the idea. Here's a good example of a surface map: Base Dirt -Dirt 1 -Dirt 2 Grass -Grass 1 -Grass 2 Just very basic. I think thats about all I can remember for some beginner tips.
  19. WHY? Because having to listen to even the main singer for more than a minute causes my ears to bleed. Not to mention their lyrics are [developmentally delayed]ed, and they don't sound good at all.
  20. I don't think you're telling the truth. If you wanted to see if it was real you would have scanned immediately afterwards. The spyware you found may or may not be it, I don't know.
  21. Nothing major. I have a signature shop over on a lineage II private server forums I play at, so this is what someone wanted. and I know I've used that dark elf before but whatever, the sig isn't in use currently and he wanted one.
  22. Needs a good 'render', or at least one that was cut out properly... Text is also too large and very ugly.
  23. hah and I love Still alive. :P The decline is a good song though.
  24. Needs a focal point.
