Ok fine.

Lol watched milkfat's LoL stream for like 20 minutes to get a good laugh. He's a somewhat mediocre HoN player (had a decent team) who says his goal is to become the #1 LoL player in 90 days :D. Kind of funny watching a bunch of HoN players just pub stomping.

Alright, just played a couple of hours of the MoH beta with my roomate to get a feel for it. Honestly, I'm not going to buy it. The game, speaking from a technical perspective, was fine. They fixed the lag issues and stuff from closed beta. The problem I have with it is it's just so damn... bland. Everything in it just feels sort of boring to me. Oh and the guns in the game, wtf. Dead accurate, no recoil. I thought they would have changed that but they didn't. My roomate unlocked the PKM and it was a dead accurate no recoil 100 round clip gun. All the guns have a ridiculous range in this game and meh... it just feels dumb as hell honestly. It felt like someone made a BFBC2 mod to me. (yes the gameplay is different but there still were several bugs found in BFBC2 that persisted in this game).

I'll have to see how they changed it from closed beta. Closed was [bleep]ing terrible and a shame. It was just awful so I don't expect anything from this open beta.

That's kind of messed up. I mean to be lucky enough for someone to just walk up and offer you a decent job and turn it down... Some people are just lazy and they know that others will feel sorry about them. It sort of sucks that people like that give a bad name to people who may actually need some help.

Yeah that's true. You'd think for doing really well on a color test (pretty much a test for how well you see differences between colors) I would have noticed that first off. Meh, I'm tired :P.

Nice. My only real comment is that it feels more like a fur vase than something that is made out of metal or glass. The shading looks cool either way. I updated my last post with a shading test I sort of did :P.

Lol. I still feel like the vase is really flat, was trying kind of hard to make it look more three dimensional. Hell the best part of the drawing is the stupid stand it's on lol. Arrows are the light sources >_>. Hell if I know if it's correct lighting (prob isn't), I'm just trying to get something out there :D. So rusty lol. Oh and finally have a brush I like. Hard brush, changes size depending on pressure. e: and my first real "digi paint" lol. e2: Just did a test to try and make a more "3d" looking image. I just chose a sphere. (well... an egg. Lol)

Nah. MoH doesn't feel hyped by people at all. For the record the answer was BFBC2. I hyped the hell out of it and it was fun for a bit but then they decided to hardly support it and left the PC version without a patch for months when we had clear reg issues.

Yeah would hate this to end up like some other recent fps people hyped up... I truly dont see how people hate mw2 so much, if you hate it then why complain about it. But on topic. I dont know how it will work with the whole no stopping power and no juggernaut. I think sniping will either finnally take skill, or it will suck. Funny because I wasn't talking about MW2 haha. Although that game does suck (and hardly anyone from the PC community 'hyped it up' so who cares about it).

Yeah it's just that generally the two genres can sound a lot alike. Like there is a lot of kamelot songs that sound very power metal-like to me. Maybe I just confuse the two genres too much :P.

Going to try this again tomorrow. Tried tonight and just failed miserably. Just trying to figure out some basic techniques really. Read up a bit tonight on stuff. I think my biggest issue is just the idea of starting it. Like do I want to do lineart for it (which can be annoying) or do I just want to paint it? Also I think I start with too small of brush strokes, a lot of guides I read stated you want to start with big ones and less detail. http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm That was the thing I was reading for the most part.
