Nothing much to say. No new renders here, although I am using an unused one from before. There are actually 2 or 3 Terragen renders in it. Was sort of messing around and I actually liked the result.

Why someone would want to constantly worry where their next meal or place to stay the night would come from is beyond me. I mean don't get me wrong, the concept of just traveling the country, not worrying about a job and such sounds interesting. The reality is that unless you have a [cabbage] ton of money (or want to live on the bottom barrel, pretty much) you aren't going to get very far. I still find it interesting how at the age of 15 or so Dizzle has apparently figured out everything and hates paying taxes (do you even pay taxes dizzle?) and also hates the world and life. I'm guessing you'll think differently when you grow up a bit :P

The RAM is probably the issue. Minecraft seems to be very RAM dependent due to how it generates the environments (procedurally). You could try and shut down some unecessary programs but I don't know how much help that will be.

Because adoption is such a perfect system and kids who are adopted always get put into loving families right away. I'm pro choice and that is all I'm really going to say on the matter. Debating about abortion is like pulling teeth.

Lol Elk is such a troll on my server :(. Even built him a house in the mines. I might have to run that on my server when monster damage goes live. I already have a lot of ideas for some pretty cool things as long as the game allows it.

This. College is different because people are there because they want to be, not because they have to be. Having to pay for optional education is a great way to weed out the [bleep]wads who aren't interested in learning. Not really. I've known some people who have gone to college just because they feel like they have to. Meh for the most part it is right though even if you don't always want to be in all your courses.

Oh and being a clear and articulate speaker is a must too. I know it seems obvious but I've had so many teachers over the years who have been very hard to listen to for a number of reasons. (either too monotone, can't understand them, whatever).

Patience. I do think that this depends on what kind of grade you want to teach though. Like if you were teaching Elementary school things such as Patience and compassion (while always important attributes) would be much more important than simply trying to be their friend. In middle and high school I think the hardest thing to do is keep students involved in the classroom and do more than just textbook lessons. For college I would say it's more important to get to know your students. I do think Patience is one of the most important things for a teacher to have. No one likes a teacher who is just going to get frustrated with you not being able to understand something. Some of my best teachers have been some of the most patient people I have ever seen.

I don't care what you eat but I think it is dumb to do it because of a "cause". Do it because it is healthy for you or you enjoy the taste, not because you don't want to hurt the cows or chickens.

Alright, here is the deal guys. I decided that I will let TIF onto my server. However I have some rules for it. You must whisper me for the server I.P. I will refuse anyone who I don't know. This is not personal, it's simply me not wanting to give out my i.p to random people. I'm sorry if I turn you down and don't give you an I.P. If I was running this server off of something other than my own personal computer I would. If you whisper me whisper me with your minecraft name. PLEASE do not give out the I.P to anyone, even someone else from TIF. Again this is more-so to help protect me but also I don't want random people on our server. I don't want 4chan suddenly having my I.P address for some reason. I will ban anyone who's name isn't on my "list" for the server. Obviously no griefing is allowed. I don't think I need to tell anyone that. That all being said I might be starting the server fresh soon. Also if someone knows some way to make it so that I can have the server run from a different i.p other than my personal one do let me know. If I can do that it would be much better.

Just tell them you really like coca-cola. Hell my roomate used the name Nukkah for a number of years in various MMOs and has never gotten banned for it :P.

I'll think about it lol. Pretty much I don't know how many people I could have on a server since it's just running off my computer. It's also more of just a server for me and my friends more so than a general server. I'll think about it though and maybe talk it over with the guys I play it with, see what they think. If I do let people in I'll probably do it on a case-by-case basis (I.E whisper me for the server ip). So yeah I'll report back here with more.

Nah he sucks. I can't wait for monster damage and all that though, will make multiplayer a lot more interesting. Still having a lot of fun with my server I made so far (which is me, Elk and a couple of friends so far on it.).

Well I didn't know if custom servers fixed it.

I broke down and tried this. Will probably buy the full game. So do you guys know a good custom server I can run? I just want something simple where I can have monster damage working and stuff. :thumbup:
