  1. I really like it. I don't know if it was on purpose but are all the people just being shadows supposed to just mean he isn't paying attention to anyone else after the death of his wife or was it just sort of a stylistic / easy way out? :P There are a few parts that are a little rough on the animation (mostly some of the arm movement). Other than that the only thing that really bothered me were some of the perspective shots. For example at 0:42 the perspective looks a bit off on the man. Also near the end, the younger man running, is that supposed to be him having a flashback to the past or is that his son running when he heard the news? I guess it could work both ways too which is kind of interesting. Good work though, and sorry to hear about your Grandmother :(. ps: you still in uni or you graduate yet?

A sequel to Demon Soul's would be cool. FROM is making a new game that looks a lot like it, not a real sequel though.
  3. No do it. I'm too lazy to.
  4. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. Don't answer me back. :D I just did. It was joking around, calm down kid lmao. :P Aren't you like 16 lol?
  5. I find worshiping a God to be archaic but I'm not about to think that churches and bibles should be illegal and for good reason. Care to elaborate? I mean there are a lot of Muslim's who go to my college and it doesn't bother me at all. Maybe it's just because I'm from the U.S and we're used to pretty much everyone being an immigrant (cept those darn mexicans! j/k) so I don't really understand why you would oppose such a thing. It honestly baffles me. If you don't want people in your society than don't allow people to immigrate there, I guess. I still find it dumb though and again maybe it was just how I was brought up. I understand culture is an important thing but it's not like these immigrants are changing how French-born people are acting, are they? Just let them be.
  6. Christ you are paranoid. I would just refrain from using the internet at all to be honest.

I think it's more of calling pedophiles who actually rape children monsters which, it's true, they are. I can understand (to a degree) being sexually attracted to something like a child. However it is inexcusable if they go through with their desire.
  8. Nadril replied to The Dark Lord's topic in Off-Topic
Societal norms. Really though the difference I find is that a child might not fully realize the possible consequences of having sex with an older man or woman. (note that I'm talking about actual pedophilia here, when it starts getting into like that 15-17 year old range it's much more of a gray area I think).
  9. Honestly I have no idea what metalcore is these days and I tend to stay away from the genre. BTBAM is good though.
  10. Nadril replied to The Dark Lord's topic in Off-Topic
A pedophile who resists the urges actually has better morals than an average person. We don't "fiddle" children, but we don't feel the irrational urge to. The pedophile, on the other hand, is resisting his/her instincts in a manner one might call "moral". We shouldn't get into the whole morality thing though. Morality does not have any solid lines. These pedophiles could very easily be resisting simply because they fear legal repercussions. You're right, it's a really tough 'debate' to get into because it is so subjective. I guess my thoughts would be that the inherit thought of pedophilia is immoral. However I don't think that actually thinking about it is immoral if you don't act out on any desires. I hope that makes sense.
  11. ... A new genre. (ZING!) Just kidding. Um only thing I can think of is Between the Buried and Me. Yea.
  12. That's a dumb argument and you know it. Yeah countries have a "right" to creating laws and people have a right to oppose any unjust or unfair laws. This is an unjust law. And somehow I just don't see this being a security concern. I mean I don't think Muslim women are exactly a large source of crime in France... I just don't see how some people can apply some of these arguments such as "well the middle east does it, so it is fine!". That means really one of two things. One, you think that oppressing people and forcing them to wear a certain clothing (or not wear) is a good idea or you take a childish route and say "well you guys do it so we're going to do something too!". Either way you put it it seems silly to me, likewise worrying about "security concerns" seems silly.
  13. That did man, you're awesome. This thread can be closed or whatever now.

Done all this stuff. Tried several ports on the router. The cable does work as well. I've updated drivers recently which temporarily solved the issue but when I restarted the router today it started up again. And yes, wired connections work with other devices in the house (360, roomates PC) It blinks green when it is plugged in. IPv4 is enabled and automatic.
  15. That's not exactly a good excuse. "Well, they do it in the middle east so it must be fine than". I thought that countries such as France were supposed to be ahead in terms of personal freedoms.
  16. So here is the deal. I'm running Windows 7 64bit on a laptop. I have both a wireless and wired NIC on my machine. My router is a NETGEAR G54. The issue is that my wireless connection will always work. Every now and then I will get some lag (more onto that in a moment) but the main problem is my wired NIC. What happens is that whenever I reset the connection somehow (restart router, PC, whatever) almost always my wired connection will not work. After a while it will let me switch over to a wired connection but it's always a huge hassle. In a bit more detail what happens is that it says I am connected to the network and it says that I have a connection but when I try to do anything it won't work. The other issue I'm having is just some general lag issues which generally a restart on the router will fix. Do you guys think the router is just dying or is there a better way to check?
  17. ...Their style didn't change much between their most recent album and the one before Inhuman Rampage though, and even that one came out a year before they 'went mainstream'. Yeah dragonforce's entire discography pretty much sounds the same. I don't see how you can be a fan of their early stuff and then hate the later lol. Good to hear though that it was clearly them becoming known that made them suck. It was nothing else. Nope.

That's what it boils down to. Your thoughts on CP/Lolicon/Pedophiles aside it still boils down to are they actually going to hurt anyone?. I mean I find it all disgusting and wrong but if someone is simply thinking about it... you can't really arrest anyone for thoughts. I don't know... it's a hard thing to think about, is a pedophile who doesn't actually act out on their urges an immoral person? Surely they are wrong in the head but it's tough to really draw a line.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ND9AV5_quI&feature=related hehe.
  20. You need to :P. It's only 13 episodes, 10 if you don't watch/count the 3 episodes of filler. (8,9,10) Easily one of the best anime I have ever watched right up there with Monster and Texhnolyzed. Yup
  21. You be right. Fixed for you bro. I agree 100% with Ruerin.
  22. Got into early access open beta of Vindictus. Example of what the game is like. That is a low level (level 9) boss btw :P.
  23. Best anime intro ever. Watched through Paranoia agent again with my roomate this time. God it is so good.
  24. I hope so that unranked / custom games / etc will have modding. Thats half the fun of the game. The ranked stuff does make sense, but I hope they dont pull an IW. Mod tools have already been announced for unranked servers. Yeah. I'm fine with the setup by any rate. Hell if people don't want to grind up their guns they can always just play unranked on a modded server which gives everyone all the options (pro mod did this in CoD4).
