I'm guessing your laptop has something where you can plug in an external monitor and use that. I'm not sure why it would stick on that (I assume you have tried rebooting, correct?) so my guess is to maybe try and borrow a monitor and switch it back.

I have seen several very baseless attacks against Christianity and religion and I've seen some just plain incorrect stuff being said. The majority of Christians do believe in equality for everyone, that God loves everyone equally and all that jazz. However just as it is with anything the bad apples ruin the bunch. Loonies like these people are not the main voice of the religion. Likewise things such as the film Jesus Camp are not the ideas and ideals of most religious people. Point is is that this 'church' of theirs is incorrect but is in no way or means actually related to Christianity other than the base, so to speak. I'm not religious in any way but attacking religions because of some idiots is just wrong. Likewise the few, *ahem*, less inteligent posters in this thread who are atheist are not the majority, but simply the vocal minority.

The 8000 series is junk, a 7900GS will far out preform an 8500gt. I was just recommending one for his price constraints. 7900GS's are right within the price range of the card you posted. The one I posted was actually $124. Either way the budget 8000's aren't worth buying, period. edit: blade beat me to it. :P

I currently use SW Stats for my damage meters. It has some nifty options in it and looks nice. Mob health 3 / Mob info 2 to show the mobs HP. As far as hotbars go just try what you can. I'd probably contact microsoft about it. Really there isn't terribly much you can do yourself, and I'm not sure how well a cracked windows would work for you.

WoW has only killed my PC a few times ever.. it could be that i spose... Although im willing to put up with 15fps in shattrath for max graphics settings it could be whats causing it. It might be the video card. kind of an off the wall suggestion but perhaps try using the onboard video for a few hours and see what happens.

These forums don't support it. There should be an embedded video hot link option on youtube, however for it to work on forums I think they need to support HTML editing instead of BB code.

I am pretty much in agreement with merc, eat what you would like. I don't eat many veggies, I know this. I'll have olives on a sandwich or corn with my meal but I just don't like most of them. However I'm not going to call my self a carnivore and limit my self to only meat. Point is eat what you enjoy and what is good for you and don't worry about being a certain thing. Don't worry about being a "vegetarian" but just eat. If you end up not eating meat almost all the time, cool, just keep an open mind about it.

Yeah PCI or PCI-E is a huge difference. If it is a PCI card I would perhaps not get a new card, or not spend $150 on it. You probably would not get much of a boost out of that. However if it is a PCI-E I recommend this 7900GS KO, probably the best mid range card you'll get. Really though what are the rest of your specs? We don't want to recommend a powerful card and you not have a good enough PSU for it or for it to get bottlenecked by the CPU, ram, ect.

Ignore the extra text crap, its just something I sent to my dad. Anyways it depends what you will be using this for woop. Are you going to be gaming or is it just general stuff? Dependant on what you want you can get something nice for around $670. The PC I linked above came out to around $800 counting shipping + windows XP. It also has an extra CPU cooler. it also depends if you want to build your own or just buy it from dell.

Whats your specs? Also is there anything apparent that you are doing when it happens? Like will it happen while playing WoW or a graphic intense program or will it happen just whenever? I don't think it would be a monitor, if the no signal happens usually all the monitors I have had go to a black screen and say like "no signal found" in a box.

First thing I'd do is download the latest version of java. I think most people either use Microsoft's Java (I forget its name) or Sun Java. As you said your self its just a java issue. If updating these doesn't work we'll have to figure it out from there.
