Your 'cons' are pretty big hitters. Anyways imediatly I would shut out Runescape , Guild wars (which isn't an MMO fyi) and FFXI (because you dislike repetitive action) from the list. That leaves us with a general World of Warcraft versus Everquest II debate. First of all perhaps you want to try a different game. You can maybe give EvE Online a shot. Its a very complex game, however you don't have to do repetitive actions to 'level up'. Leveling up is real time based and you may enjoy it a bit. Alternatively you could play a game and wait until October for when Age of Conan comes out. It's going to be amazing. Failing these you have Everquest II and WoW. Generaly EQ II will take longer to hit the max level than WoW will. Everquest II's combat as well, in my opinion, is less refined and not as fun as WoW. (having played EQ II for about 6 months and WoW for maybe 7-8 now). As far as having other things to do Everquest II edges out WoW. If you enjoy tradeskills EQ II has a fairly in-depth tradeskilling system that is very unique. Even for someone who loathes tradeskilling I found my self making some stuff in game and enjoying it. Both games offer PvP however Everquest II only has world PvP, while WoW has world pvp (barely) , battlegrounds and the arena. If you die in Everquest II vs a player you will lose a percentage of money on your character at the time. In WoW you lose nothing while fighting another player. Quest wise Everquest II has more. WoW feels a bit more.. streamlined in their quests and at least in the start you won't have to run all over the place. For uniqueness both offer the same ammount of "do X" quest crap while occasionally having unique quest. Both of them also are dependent on questing for leveling. Graphically Everquest II will not run well on a poor computer. Even on mine it managed to shudder at spots and especially in town. If you play it I would recommend 2 gigs of ram. I enjoy WoW's art style better personally. UI wise WoW wins by a landslide. The ammount of changes you can do to your UI is amazing, and it is much easier to work with than add-ons in Everquest II. Just a bit of my personal opinion. Was just about to post it when your topic was locked :).
  2. You've just cut off effectively 99% of the free MMO market. Try Anarchy Online. its a Sci-Fi MMO that has a free version (used to be P2P). I played the game for something like 5 or 6 months and enjoyed my self. Its a deep game so don't expect to learn it in the first day.
  3. They removed the attunement to it? Interesting. Ah well like you said you aren't going to get far with bad gear. :P
  4. Yeah its just great hearing about something like this failing. I wonder what it must have been like for the guard he told about it. :P "uh.. sir, I have a phone stuck in my anus I can't get out. I need a doctor".
  5. Part of me thinks that after a couple days with that 'power' you wouldn't want it. God only knows what people are thinking, haha.

Most of them are fairly average signatures, nothing special. That one however, stood out. Very good job on it.
  7. Grr forums are acting up. I was wanting to keep up with a topic on how this lvl 68 shadowstep rogue thinks the class is perfectly fine in pvp.
  8. Bingo, I think thats it. Sometimes my computer picks up the wireless connection. And if it doesnt, I use the cable to connect to the internet. After we moved to another house, the internet connection was not 100% permanent due to a problem at the internet company. I guess I should switch it to the cabled connection? If you are anywhere close to where you can run it through a cable, yes. Having two different connection types up at once is bound to cause problems. Yes, my computer just stops the connection when I have 2 connections at once. Yup that would be it. :P
  9. http://www.cellular-news.com/story/24416.php And yes, it is the 'wagon' you all were thinking of when you clicked this topic. I wonder what kind of phone it was.

  12. QFMFT :P . These days if a teacher even touched the kid they'd be in huge [cabbage]. Back when I went to elementary school as a wee lad in Mississippi (it was a kind of ghetto school) the teachers were not afraid of sending you to the principles office for a paddling. I was a good boy though. :-$ O:)
  13. Absolutally love these guys. Pretty damn heavy and really talented musicians. I'd love to go see them live one day. For a DM band, they sound really clean and nice. I'd love to go see them live one day... "This next song is... [uber low demon voice] Pseudopathological vivisection [/uber low demon voice]. Yeah their guitar work in songs like Fermented Offal discharge is amazing. Aaaand for something a bit different now: Pendulum- Planet Orion. Love this band. :D edit: into: Summoning- The Misshapen Steed If you haven't tried this band yet Ragen download their stuff. now. Simply amazing band, beyond words.
  14. Their sexual organs work just fine, as in, they would get the same feeling from sex as someone who was naturally that gender would. The only difference is they do not have the ability to reproduce. Also people who change from male to female or vise versa do more than just surgery. Like I said earlier they take hormones which makes then look more feminine/manly and even alters their mood to that of more like a male/female. Arguably the only difference once the entire process is complete (which can take years, I think, for the hormones to have their entire effect last) is that they can't reproduce.
  15. Mid cases are still a decent size, I would be willing to bet a lot of desktop PCs you buy from places like dell use a mid size case.
  16. Perhaps the correct ports aren't open for MSN. It's just a shot in the dark really but worth a try. Check your firewall to see if MSN is allowed. Failing that check your router if you have one.
  17. Well yeah, I can agree with that. Also if someone is being dishonest with you on that issue than thats another issue entirely.
  18. Necrophagist- Epitaph Forgot how awesome the lead vocals voice is in this band.
  19. That better not be it lol, it seems too simple. :wall:
  20. Agreed on what everyone else says. However, puke-colored green never makes a good color for a signature.
  21. Sounds like a lag [bleep]e to me. You wouldn't really notice it just browsing the web. Do you play any other games? If so do you sometimes experience times where while you can still move around nothing is happening and then it speeds up? It probably is a problem with either your ISP or router. Are you running wireless or wired?
  22. I'm thinking of possibly playing my 29 lock instead of 26 priest as an alt. Wondering if it'd be viable to AoE as a mage/lock, lol. ps: anyone having troubles logging into the forums/account management? I am for some reason. [The 'retreive password' thing brought me to an error as well, I assume they are just working on the site] double edit: ok I just logged on lol, must have been their system screwin' up.
  23. Ozzy osborne- 2 Paranoid Its also been my ringtone for a while now.
  24. Get a job 'ye hippie! :P
  25. 2 gigs would work, but man if you got the money 4gigs would be amazing. :P I mean, hell, the motherboard I linked can support 8gb LOL.
