Wish I could find this link on a bunch of tips on how to fix bad web comics. It really was a great resource and it went in depth into things such as text placement, bubble placement depending on the mood you wish to convey (like frantic and hurried or overbearing) and a lot of other neat things. Of course you probably want to start with the basics such as readability.

I'm guessing by plug-in you're probably talking about a CMS like wordpress, right? They generally use PHP for the layout so it is easy to dynamically edit them.

How did you think achievement servers worked? Never went on them, they're cheap as hell. Ok, thats great and all but you dodged the question -- if you didn't know there were bots how did you think the servers worked? Lol. Cool. I'm too busy with Aion for TF2 atm.

Eh, it's not like you have to buy it. There's probably a lot of people out there who would want a 250GB hard drive but maybe wouldn't necessarily want to put their own in.

You need to actually save it as .php not .html. I suggest you read up on some basic tutorials on php. Sure, you could just "copy/paste" but that isn't exactly going to help you in the long run, now is it? We can't hold your hand that much, some of the stuff you'll have to figure out on your own.

Yeah use php like Joe said. Also seconding the non-use of tables, they should only be used for actual tables -- using them for layouts is messy as hell. Use div's (css) instead.

It's funny, because Runescape is pretty much a gateway into real, more serious, MMOs for a lot of people. I could probably replace a lot of what you're saying in the OP, and just replace the word farmville with runescape, and facebook with "internet browser".

Well if you can play it on a 9.2" screen (see here) (Link goes to Amazon.com, for those who are cautious) Then I'm sure I can cope on a 15". Bear in mind this unit is going to be right next to my bed, so even getting a huge screen wouldn't be ideal. I guess I will shop around for the cheapest 17" / 19" TV/Monitor. Need to get the best price possible though as I also have a lot of other items on my wish-list :P If I fail looking for a new monitor, then I will give the cable a go. Thanks for your help so far people :) I didn't mean technically, you can technically play on it. The only thing you need to make sure is that it has a DVI or VGA port in the back and isn't just an untatchable cable.

This seems much too complicated for what a simple xbox cable will do for you. I used an Xbox DVI cable for a while to use mine on my monitor, worked out nicely. Chances are a decent size monitor is already "HD ready". If you only have a 15" though that seems to just be way too small to play on period.

The thing I don't like about them is even after 20,000 posts I don't get my own custom title :(. Nah I don't really care about it, although it's sort of cool to see. I just like seeing little stats like that.

Getting used to the pen tool this early is great. My only advice is try to not stray to using random filters and stuff, they make your work look terrible most of the time if you don't use them right.

Are you 10? That's the only explanation I could find for someone thinking this is actually an achievement of some sort. You can't get the font right, the writing makes my head hurt from how terrible it is (The hell is a 'peep' ?), the art is even worse and is like a bad cross between someone who couldn't draw and someone who just got his copy of photoshop elements and even the website backing it is terrible and barely functional (no back or forward pages, having to go to the archive and get a pre-generated "gallery" feature?) making it a chore to even try and read this thing. If you actually are 17 like your profile tells me than I really feel for you, I really do.

Actually it's been selling well, and it even increased the sales of the PSP3000 because of it's launch. Haha.

I do hope they did understand that generally games don't like you tampering with the files like that, it probably really gives a false-positive to NCSoft even though you may not be trying to do anything against the rules. Man so looking forward to level 40 though. Hearing a few of my friends on vent going through Steel Rake, the place sounds awesome. It's the pirate ship instance NCSoft showed off a lot, and it's huge. Apparently takes like 3-4 hours for a full clear (is split into wings) and a lot of the bosses actually have real mechanics behind them. Should be pretty cool.

Messing with the game files is kind of risky in the first place. That being said just have them talk to support about it (I'm sure it'll be swarmed though). On the bright side NVIDIA released new drivers with SLI support for Aion. Level 39 now, about 4 bars into it. 36 million TNL for me, haha. And on another note I assume you all heard about the mass bannings yesterday/today. I've got to say that even though there are still a bunch of spammers a lot of the bots I've seen around aren't there anymore. Even just today a number of the bots that hang out ended up disapearing by tonight after we reported them. Pretty happy that NCSoft is starting to take a good hard stance on them. With luck they'll have a good spam filter in place as well which will reduce tells a lot. (that being said I'm getting gold farming tells a lot less now, even though there are a few who just spam the LFG channel non-stop. If you mute them though it stops for a good while.
